  1. it's just an added bonus that will reap the rewards when civilisation falls.
  2. Hi Andy, Welcome to the forum. I've no idea about converting anything to anything but I think some pictures of your pulse rifles are very much needed! ๐Ÿ˜
  3. Me neither but the spas that was in classifieds the other only stayed there due to severe lack of funds! lol
  4. How long did it take to come? I'm about to order that torch but needed it for a game I've got on 16th! Yeah, I know I've left it a little late! lol
  5. Hi Bobz, there is a very well used classified section on this very forum - here. If you don't know what to sell them for, there is a section for appraisals - here. Just don't take the piss with the price or you'll end up - here (This section is where we laugh at the ridiculous prices people are asking for) Oh, and welcome to the site.
  6. Anyone got any links to cheap torches with remote switch?

Here's a repro XC1/XC2 by WADSN if you're after something pistol related. They do fake X400s but I don't know the quality on them. Just waiting for the XC2s (dual mode, red laser + a torch) to come back in stock with the markings and then I'll probably grab one. Little bit more pricey due to the laser though, so you could always just get the XC1 without one. I just like the idea of being a bootleg Leon S Kennedy with my little laser lmao

      ย

Edit: found the X400 repros. No idea on the quality of them but they look the part and have the laser/light combo.

Ledray are bulletproof and not silly Surefire money.ย ย Not cheap but I've had mine for 15 or so years.

      ย

I have a couple of these on airsoft rifs:ย https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/354512677837ย  I think that I've had them about three years or so.ย  TBH I prefer to press the rear of the torch with my thumb, and angle/mount the torch to be able to do so.ย ย

  7. ยฃ300 and the scratchs will clean off! Lol
  8. Not my shop, nothing to do with me and I dont know the owners . . . . but . . . . https://www.facebook.com/TinCanAlleyAirsoft A shop and an indoor range. That makes 2 shops in my local (ish) area. Got to be a good thing.
  9. Just had a play with my chrono and my pistol fps is all over the place! Do I need to do "warm up" shots or is it new hop rubber time?

You will find that with almost every shot, unless you wait a minute or so between them, the FPS will likely drop - due to the cooldown of the gas.

      ย

Another reason that it might be wildly fluctuating- especially if you are getting a few sky high readingsย  -is that the Chrono is picking up the gas cloud itself. In which case, try holding the muzzle a little way back from the chrono (whilst taking a lot of care not to shoot out your screen!)

Thats a good point, there were a few shots that registered as shots but no reading showed.ย  I presume that waa picking up the gas?

Possibly....worth trying a little back and seeing what happens!

  11. Welcome, what area are you in?
  12. I could be wrong, I frequently am, but seven bloody hundred an ten of our finest British pounds!!!!
  13. Been casually looking at RIFs for the last few days but how do you know what's good out of the box and what's not?ย

    1. Lozart

      Lozart

Very little is actually "good" out of the box, depends on your budget though. A TM is usually fine as it comes, a lot of others are in need of more power/RoF/trigger response from the get go.

Most stuff these days seems pretty good, out of the box anyway, even the 'cheaper brands' Double Bell and Golden Eagle have made some top quality aeg's. I generally snuff at anything that takes their own 'proprietary' parts/mags, like G&G. Cyma 'platinum' aeg's are very nice.

    3. EDcase

      EDcase

Yeah, most are decent and there are some gems that shoot above their price point.

Just go for the look and style you want.

As long as it uses a V2 or V3 gearbox you know there are plenty of parts available to improve if necessary.

  14. Why don't you like tilting barrels?
  15. Bought from off here . . . Quick release mag pouches, 4 x M4, 8 x double stack pistol. I've no actual idea what I'm going to do with them though!
  16. Yes, its shows that they are actively trying to help, which is good.
  17. I've just posted some copy off faceache about UKAPU that was posted there yesterday, and that got me thinking. Yes, I know, I shouldn't! Are we, airsoft-forums.uk, not a large enough collection of players to be classed as influential? There has been a lot of talk on here about the various organisations that want to represent us at a more national level but they post, what is possibly a good news for them story, but no mention of it on here! I know fb gets the numbers but I've always found that the real knowledge base is on the forums. I'm on a few different forums for this reason and even I am on fb I very rarely post. Yes, I know some of oyu are thinking that I should take the dame stance here too! I don't want this to turn into a ukapu bashing/loving thread but what are your thoughts about it?
  18. This popped up on my faceache feed, thought I'd share. ๐—ง๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฏ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—น ๐˜๐—ผ ๐˜„๐—ถ๐—ป ๐—ฏ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ธ ๐—ณ๐˜‚๐—น๐—น ๐˜ƒ๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜‚๐—ฒ ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ถ๐—ฟ ๐—ฅ๐—œ๐—™๐˜€ UKAPU has recently supported one of our members with regards to an import of airsoft replicas into the UK that turned out to be a rather difficult case, which shockingly spanned nearly two years from the date of seizure to resolution. Our member approached us almost a year after the consignment was seized by Border Force, after they had experienced difficulties attempting to prove to Border Force that our member had good reason to import realistic imitation replicas into the UK. Whilst we supported our member by means of comprehensive written submissions both to Border Force and the First-tier Tribunal (Tax), ultimately the Tribunal Judge decided the case in favour of our member due to procedural issues unconnected with our written submissions. We were left in no doubt however that our written submissions had a positive outcome on these proceedings and possible future proceedings. Sadly due to the considerable time delay between the seizure and when the cause was concluded, Border Force had destroyed our memberโ€™s consignment however Border Force swiftly and fully compensated them for their financial losses. We at UKAPU would like to commend our member, for their resilience with dealing this matter. If you have any issues with importing replicas into the UK, then UKAPU is here to help. In their own words, they didn't win the case but it's good to see some positive involvement.
  19. Another man threw sodium chloride on her. That's assault!
  20. Any help you might have got, I'm pretty sure you've just lost.
  21. Sounds like you've never played airsoft but want to open a site? Doesn't sound like the right way of doing it. Go and play a few games first, and ask other players what they think, then you'll answer a lot of your questions.
  22. Welcome. Don't worry about your English, you probably have a better understanding than some of our other members. ๐Ÿ˜
