  1. I dont know about your particular mag but mine had one screw in the bottom that when removed allows the bottom part to come away from the main body. Once its in two pieces you can see the O ring.
  2. Yep, one of my pistol mags was leaking from the base O ring. Stripped and soaked in oil for an hour or so sorted it.
  3. I broke my leg due to it being very muddy after heavy rain. Its not fun.
  4. Just seen this on the Beebs site. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cpe0xw3e2wwo
  5. They've just shared the post to another airsoft page on fb too. Obviously weren't happy with 90% of the comments being negative so thought they'd try again! lol
  6. Did you not see that he has posted it in classified, with details?
  7. Maybe he's giving them a kickback from any sales generated from pretending that he's good for the sport.
  8. I have always just presumed that beard trimmer oil is silicone oil but the Wahl one that I have is a mineral oil, which is a mix of other oils. Works though, so all good.
  9. When you look at it that way, yes, I'm a bit of a slut! 🤣
  10. I don't know if all pistol magazines are made the same but 2 out of the 3 'leak free' mags I got with my P226 leaked. I stripped them as far as I could, didn't have a valve key, and soaked the base O ring in silicone oil for a couple of hours and added a few drops of the same to the valves. All three are now leak free. Interestingly, I used the bottle of silicone oil that came with my beard trimmer, so nothing special or expensive.
  11. So you've got first hand experience. Care to elaborate?
  12. Im sure ive got one knocking around somewhere, ill have a look and pm you.
  13. Can you link to, or back up that?
  14. Don't know yet, but I'm watching with interest.
  15. An actual one, as shown in your pic, or for airsoft?
  16. I agree with your points but think the attitude of we'll deal with it (the shit hitting the fan) when it happens is short sighted. If nothing else, anything that brings some community spirit and promotion, or even positive PR to the wider masses is a good thing. Saying all that, I'm still a newbie so maybe I'm looking for something to make me feel like I belong or some feeling of being a part of something that will work in our favour.
  17. a guy called Ian Lawrence. No idea who he is but its a good start to something that I think we need.
  18. Ian Lawrence is the guy but fair points. After seeing the utter fiasco on the other thread about UKAPA, it's good to see someone being proactive. I for one am, tentatively, supporting them.
  19. United Kingdom Airsoft Federation, https://ukairsoftfederation.co.uk/index.html Thoughts on this one, by it's own admission, it's new. I for one hope that it (and this thread) don't turn into a shit show!
  20. Just received a patch from UK Airsoft Federation. https://ukairsoftfederation.co.uk/index.html Asked for it on Monday, it came today. It would have come sooner but the guy, who I presume is UKAF, was ill but let everyone know they will be late. Top marks for communication. How much I hear you ask? Nothing. Free. Zilch. Nada. Just asked to support what they're/he is trying to do. Top marks for engagement so far. Say you'll do something to engage with the people that you want to support, and actually do it! So to summarise, free delivered, on time didn't have to chase it. At all. I think you can see where this is going . . . . @proffrink Where's mine, and countless others, patches?
  21. I'm bored today so expect plenty of threads, some may be about postage!

  22. Having just read the absolute trainwreck thread "Opinions on UKAPU", I think this one can be locked and I'll ask a different question! Can a mod lock this please?
  23. I've done a search but, apart from one thread about how someone has become a rep for UKAPU, I can't find any information about the above. So, United Kingdom Airsoft Federation and United Kingdom Airsoft Players Union, are they both/either an active force for good in our sport? Are there any actual benefits to either? A discount is good but that's not what we need. I am a member of both, UKAPU as a Bronze free member, as I agree that we need something to represent our interests at a bigger, national level. I used to shoot full bore pistol and centre fire rifle but due to a lack of a cohesive argument, a massive media frenzy and politicians that will push knee jerk reaction to ensure that they get the votes rather than looking at the actual facts, we lost it and still losing it every year with more draconian measures being forced on legitimate law abiding shooters . . . sorry, started ranting a bit! What are peoples thoughts, experiences of the above? EDIT: just found this post
