  1. I used upholstery spray adhesive on my, non load bearing, top foam. Sticks like a sticky thing from Sticksville.
  2. What are you all using as bb catchers for indoors? My cardboard filled box has some large holes and is due replacment.

A cardboard box with an NBC jacket hanging inside it, still got bb's all over my floor & some I aimed a bit low so they went right through the box :) but it works well enough.

My inner child coupled with my job as a heating engineer means I have a selection of hot water cylinders to shoot outside - the foam lagging acts quite nicely to  not only catch the BBs, but also quite handy for zeroing sights .  Quite what the scrappy will think when they finally get chopped in I don't know.  Inside I have a Gousto box with one of the boy's old school shirts inside.

I use a cardboard box, duct-tape'd the back for re-enforcement, stuffed it full of that paper stuff amazon use as packing and then tape paper over the front which means I can print targets etc.

When the front gets worn, I just tape more paper over the top. Nothing's got through the back yet, when it does I'll just tape another layer of card on.

Might have to put a hole in it at some point to empty the BBs out as it's getting proper rattly.

  3. Ive no idea but welcome to the forum and well done, and thank you, for following the rules. 👍😁
  4. It could be genuine but always go with your gut instinct.
  5. Nice. Looking forward to your layout pics. 😁
  6. What did you go for?
  7. Bloody good shout mate. Only put about 40 shots through it as a quick test but fed without fault. Ta.
  8. Funnily enough i got my first one off Facebook marketplace for £30 because it had been left ourside and was a bit wet and dirty. Second one was £58 off ebay but £20 postage. Still a bit of a bargain though.
  9. Great is good, I'm sure that we are all glad you enjoyed it but would you care to elaborate? Lol
  10. Ill be rereading the display your guns thread for some inspiration.
  11. Ooh, now that is nice. I'm sort of lucky that i only have 4 pews, for now, and dont really have anywhere to keep them in the house so putting thw3m in cases where i can then stash them out of the way makes sense. I do, as of Saturday, have a spare bedroom so I think that might become 'The Gun Room' with them on display. Then i can add more. 😁

@Grant1989 I thought that too but when looking for one it turns out you can only buy them if you are serving military/police personnel. I couldn't find one in Blighty that will sell to a civvie, happy to be proved wrong though. Or you buy from the US and import it over.
  13. I don't see the reasoning behind your logic! What's need got to do with it? This is Airsoft, it's ALL about want!
  14. Bought off here, arrived today, modelled by me to show @sofieb 😁 Oh, it's a Warrior Elite 901.
  15. I've not played a lot but the evening game I had on Monday was brilliant. Indoor, so not affected by weather, long enough to build up a sweat but not too long that it ruins my old muscles(yes, i know I tapped out early but im still broken!). Just wish there was something closer than an hours drive.
  16. Funnily enough, I've called my new M4 Vera! lol
  17. Not sure if there's any real difference between isopropanol alcohol and isopropyl acetate but cleans like a good'un.
  18. I was going to ask the same thing.
  19. I've had a play with positions but am going with a, very slight, variation of the original layout. The MP5 is a heavy old beast and putting them in together would make the whole thing a bit too . . . heavy!
