Top Secret in Oldham is a cracking site. Really enjoyed playing there.
Heres my review of Chemical.

I'm going to be in Horncastle, Lincolnshire, with my good lady, next weekend and she wants to try our glorious game. I've had a look and there are few sites within a reasonable drive but are there any standout ones that I should look at first?

Hello

I've been quite vocal on this subject but even I've given up! lol

Sorry to hijack this for my own benefit but saving the need to make another thread.
Anything around the Cheshire/Staffs area (maybe slightly further if full days?) on weekdays that's recommend? I work 4 on 4 off and sometimes a week day game is better suited. Indoor or outdoor is fine.
Thanks!
Outpost Airsoft just outside Chester do weekday games. Maybe once a month or so, more over school holidays. Normally only half days though.

No, an actual raffle! I'm lucky that I haven't got an SO that I need to lie to! Lol

Hi all, started to fit the above to my G&G CG16 today. The actual board went straight in but I can't fit the magnet holder to the trigger as it, the trigger, is the wrong shape.
Has anybody come across this problem before and how did you sort it? It doesn't look like I can make it fit so I'm presuming I'll need a new trigger.
Pic attached to show the top of the trigger.

That's bloody brilliant. Well done.

I tend to sit in a traffic jam on the M25 whenever I go to the place...
Is that something you normally do for fun?

Yes, but Sudoku sounds funnier and catches people off guard
Here we call it Harakiri
I suppose you don't have access to a stock G&G mosfet unit to swap the ETU++ for and rule out any possible faults on that side eh?
How are the various connectors? Solid? Wonky?
Have you tried a different battery? (even better would be to try with a different motor as well)
Just tried a different battery and still doing it. Yes, i still have the original mosfet, I'll try that next then I'll start opening things and check connection.
-
Yes ETU ++. I've had it about 8 or 9 months, it was bought second hand but hadn't been used. The condition it was in confirms this, it really was like brand new without a mark on it.

I, and my 2 smallest ankle biters, were playing at Outpost by Chester again last weekend when I started having an intermittent trigger issue. I'd pull the trigger and nothing, or it sort of hesitated and felt slow. The battery was fully charged.
A couple of days later I went to zero in my acog and the same thing happened.
What's the general consensus of the hive mind? Battery or something with the trigger.
Oh, it's a GC16 with a Perun mosfet.

A new member posting a well written and, seemingly, balanced review is something of a rarity. I was expecting a glowing review that it is the bestest site in the whole wide world and everyone should go.
Well done @Matt Gordon and welcome to the dorum.

I tried to visit their shop earlier on in the year. According to the website they were open but, surprise surprise, they weren't.

Excellent. 😁

- Consider expanding the AFUK patches for sale - introduce other designs e.g anniversaries
- Consider allowing patches to be paid for via paypal - its the most popular and widely used platform in the UK with a monthly traffic of over 50 million. 81% of online vendors in the UK accept it. I was going to buy a patch but don't use skrillex and its a faff to find my credit card lol, well one of them! Paypal however - easy. TL;DR- I predict an uptake in patch sales if you allowed paypal.
There are enough patches for sale but once you've paid for one, it doesn't arrive and the mods ignore every attempt to contact them about it. Adding more will make no difference.

Hi Moose, welcome to the site. I hope you realise that we will need photographic proof of you dressed in the naff seagull onesie? 😂

Not pics but I've just picked up a, what looks like, brand new Viper tactical load bearing backpack from one of the local charity shops for £20!
Got no use for it but wasn't going to leave it there 20 notes!

Just purchased a couple of the above and have started looking at setting them up prior to their delivery. I've spent most of this morning on youtube watching UK specific videos but am still a bit confused. Can anyone recommend a decent guide, video or otherwise, to set up for airsoft use.
I understand that the 16 PMR446 channels are for public use but do you, technically, need an OfCom licence to use them or is that for the other frequencies? I say technically need a licence as you should but I won't!

That's a bloody good question! Just went onto their booking page and it takes you to ticketmaster!!!!
Right, bit more digging and there appears to be 2 websites for them. https://www.chemicalairsoftshop.co.uk/booking-game-pass looks familiar so I presume its the one I used.
