  1. Sorry, thought your size was a typo. If it's 6.2 then that may be your problem, as the BBs may be getting pushed off centre because of all that extra room in there. Personally, if the 6.04 was doing a good job I'd put it back in and forget the 6.2 inner.
  2. Sounds like you've got a problem with the inner barrel. 6.02 is a bit tight for an AEG barrel, as there is very little leeway in the internal diameter if there is the slightest problem with BBs. I had a problem recently on my spring SVD that has a 6.01 inner barrel and that was getting BBs jambed in it as well (admittedly quite old 0.3 bio ammo). The guys at Redwolf don't recommend going tighter than 6.03 in an AEG.
  3. The other possibility is that the disconnect on the trigger contacts may have a weak return spring in it, so that when you release the trigger the contact doesn't fully return to the start position. This means that when you pull the trigger again is doesn't connect with the moving contact to press it into contact with the fixed copper contacts. Had this happen with my G&P M16 a while ago. If it is this then you'll need to strip the gearbox, not something to do if you have no experience as you can loose all the parts if you try to open it without holding it all together until the main spring is removed.
  4. 10 metres is way to short a distance to zero your sights. You need to zero for at least 40 metres, then hold under for shorter ranges, although when shooting at a man sized target anywhere on the body is a good enough hit for a kill.
  5. Radiusing means to file a small curve into the forward end of the gearbox shell where the front part of the cylinder meets the thin part of the shell. A right angle will transfer the stresses caused by the continual pounding of the piston into the weakest part of the gearbox (the front), so causing it to fail. By putting a small curve on the corners you move the stresses into the whole of the front portion, eliminating the weakest point, although it doesn't stop it entirely. The ideal thing is to use a small round metal modelling file to take the sharp corners off the front oblong opening that the cylinder sits in.
  6. Mesh goggles cut down the light reaching your eyes somewhat, so are not that good for playing in darker environments. They also can allow small pieces of broken BB to hit your eyes if a bb hits the mesh directly. I would always recommend having something else between the mesh and your eyes. Mesh masks, whilst good at stopping hits to the face, will stop you being able to use scopes on a rifle, as they don't allow you to get a proper cheek weld on the stock to look down the sights.
  7. Try an M130 or M140. That should get you around the FPS you want. And if the KA SVD is similar to the A&K SVD then you should be able to use AEG springs.
  8. First off stop using 0.2BBs. Any decent sniper rifle will work far better with 0.3s and above. If it's firing around the high 400 FPS on 0.2s then even consider 0.4 BBs. As to the problem of veering left you need to work on the hop (maybe even replace it with an aftermarket upgrade) and, depending what is already in there, a tight-bore inner barrel and some barrel spacers to keep everything straight. On a single shot springer with good ammo you can probably go down to a 6.01mm inner barrel. Check out some of the earlier threads on upgrading spring rifles, as you may also need to upgrade the trigger group, as the original ones tend to wear and break quite quickly. There is no cheap and easy way to get a bog standard Well L96 shooting properly. I know from experience.
  9. If you want fast trigger response use an ASCU V3 to replace your standard gearbox trigger contacts. I've got an ASCU V2 in my M16 DMR and the trigger response is more than fast enough, as well as being far shorter than the standard trigger pull. Not sure if that will work in a SCAR though, unless it has a V2 rear wired gearbox.
  10. Try standing the box on an old chair, then stuff a couple of old T-Shirts or similar in the box. They will stop the BBs dead.
  11. I'm afraid that's one of the problems of buying the cheap Two Tones. I've never seen spares for those on any of the usual Airsoft retailer websites, either here or overseas. You would be better chucking those away and waiting to buy either a higher spec two tone with a proper metal gearbox, or getting your skirmish site membership sorted (if you're over 18) and getting a proper RIF.

Can't stand Steam. It's incredibly laggy for me, even with a reasonably top end gaming box. I regularly end up getting shot about 1-2 seconds before the shooter appears on my screen. Very frustrating. Gave up on CoD MW2 because of the lag. I used to play MW1 on a US west coast based server and there was far less lag on that than on Steam for me.

I'm having the same problems. Really pi**ed off at the way they've done this, as well as running a server update during the day. Got fed up and went back to MoH tier 1 but ended up on a server with a load of hackers, so just gave up and came on here instead.
