  1. Can you post up some photos of your 226? Both sides, and also ones with the top & bottom separated, and of the hop & barrel unit.
  2. Are you sure they gave you marui ones? The rear of that magazine looks different to the ones I remember having; there was no detail or markings one them, from what I recall. What store did you go to? Tokyo-Marui-G-31-25rd-Magazine-SIG-SAUER-P226.webp *edit The one in your picture looks more like a KWA one, without having it to hand: https://www.bztactical.co.uk/kwa-m226-magazine
  3. When you say they didn't fit, what was wrong with them exactly? I used to have an old 226, and didn't have any issues using the old or E2 mags.
  4. When You wind hicaps it's going to require a lot; typically a few dozen winds. (You'll hear the clicking sound change once you've wound it fully). I've been out of the P90 game for a while now; could never really get on with them, so I'm unsure on compatibility but these might be a solution: https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/novritsch-100rnd-magazine-for-ssr90-p90-gen-2-aegs Midcap style, so no winding and no feed issues that you get with hicaps.
  5. Is there a specific reason you need to change the outer barrel, or is it just for aesthetic preference?
  6. Heads up to any fellow glasses wearers, but I recently tried ReglazeMySpecs for the first time, after finding an old thread about them on here.

I ordered on the Sunday, sent off my old inserts on the Monday, and received them back and finished on the Friday, all for under £17!

Can't recommend them enough, and a much cheaper alternative to Specsavers. 😃

  7. Do you have a price bracket in mind?
  8. So who else is going to the Midlands Airsoft Fair on the 9th?

Third time for me, and first time as a seller!

I'm thinking of it (as a buyer) but curious what variety of things are for sale as it will be close to a 2-hour journey for me to Newark.

There's usually all sorts. Guns, gear, unusual parts.

Picked up lots of bargains in years past!

  9. Yes, you need to Dremel them in order to load them via the channel. Tbh though, I've never had good results using ASG mags, either in a TM MK23 or an ASG, annoyingly. They've always suffered from feeding issues for me.
  10. Don't you just hate it when a buyer just goes radio silent on you 😒

I don't usually sell but had 2 items buyers were looking for & thought I was reasonable with the prices then nothing, don't mind that so much tbh but offered someone their asking price for an item and then bugger all communication.

It was all ok, and then I asked the guy if he had WhatsApp, or someway I could send him some photos & videos of the gun working and then they just disappeared.

Think it's probably for the best tbh!

  11. I'm not sure if the guns I'm planning on using will lift 0.32s unfortunately, last I remember 0.30s were pretty much the maximum I could lift with my current setup. Will have to test and see. As for 0.43s; Its for my bolt actions; I'm hoping not to have to adjust the hopup after I've finally got them all dialed in nicely, but thank you! That's good to know! The only time I've ever had a gearbox explode on me mid-game was when I was using bio-ammo, so I've avoided it where possible since then. My biggest issue is that I don't use enough in game to empty a bottle in a short time. I still have a bottle of ammo I'm working through from last spring! After that though, I may not need to worry about new ammo just yet; One of the sites I've been looking at trying in the past is running a game on the 2nd and doesn't require bio ammo so that's probably my best bet for now. Thanks for the help though!
  12. I'm looking at visiting some new sites whilst I'm down in the Midlands, and unfortunately a lot of the ones that are running on the days I'm free are bio ammo only. I've not used bio ammo for about 12 years, with varying success and my local retailer doesn't carry bio ammo in my weight (0.30 and 0.45). I found vorsk Ammo at a store on my route down, but as I've not heard amazing things about the quality of their pistols, I'm wondering if using their ammo is just asking for trouble. Does anyone have any experience using them?
  13. I've bought from them in person and online, and had no issues. All good in my experience.
  14. No, I used a hexagonal stencil.
  15. It's always a good day when you receive an @ak2m4 order!

      Was that the 500mm order?

It was. All installed and ready to go this weekend, hopefully!

  16. By full size, I meant the full stock, longer barreled version
  17. Latest acquisition, which I got in a trade yesterday. Already have the full size one, so I'll be looking forward to tinkering about and playing with this too.
  18. I Ordered replacements off Ares.
  19. Before you adjust it, try something simple like stuffing an old sock at the bottom of the pouch, and see if that gives you the extra padding to secure the mags?
  20. I've got ZCI hop units from @ak2m4 in my Amoeba; which I'm assuming might be similar. One was a straight drop in, the other needed just the tiniest bit of filing on the other barrel to fit in (Despite being the same model gun!)
  21. I've got one of these, and use it for one of my sniper set-ups. How well do yours sit when you're wearing them? Do they feel tight and secure or is there movement and wobble? Are the mags you're using the normal 30 round design (As in, based on what would be the 30rd mags for a real rifle)? If so, then you may need to either adjust the bungees to tighten them up, or pad out the bottom of the mag pouch so that the mags sit higher and tighter against the elastic. My mags are longer than usual; I assume they'd be 40 rounds IRL, so I've had no issues with them coming loose. Reloading just takes a bit of practice to get it nice and smooth; I pull up and to the side on the bungees and the mags are easy to get out. Do you have a photo of your rig set up as you'd use it?
  22. Had this in bits due to a dead trigger board for a couple of years, and finally got around to sorting it out. Acquired a new stock tube and upper receiver rail to complete it, and now have it finished! Swapped out the gearbox from my full length version which is currently being built up as a DMR to put in this one, along with a PDI 6.05 barrel and 50º Archwick bucking, I'll be looking forward to trying it out! Brings the total of working VZ58s I have to 4 now.
  23. Nope, the K is different from full size MP5s, in that it uses a V3 gearbox, but with a long type motor. For a disassembly and detailed view inside you can check it out here: https://rockoairsoft.blog.hu/2017/03/06/jg_mp5k (Just bear in mind you'll need to translate from Hungarian).
