You stand to earn more selling separately. Bundling will often include something of little to no interest to a buyer so lowballers will be commonplace as they will look to buy for a partial resale with a profit. The G36c could fetch around the £90-110 mark. Having been two-tone may push that price closer to the bottom end. Do you know which brand the L96 is? Is it two-tone or a realistic colour beneath the camo tape? With the Wingun sidearm, do you know if the leak is with the pistol itself and/or the mag? Being boneyard, you may get £20-25 (plus £15-25 for the capsules) but the missing slide lock could be challenging to replace unless they are universally compatible with those from a USP/Mk23 or something along the lines of the H&K pistol family.

"I went all in at the roulette table but found it wasn't for me and want to reduce my regret"

I spoke to Ollie today for a good 20 minutes - he had a table with PewHub at the Midlands Airsoft Fair. As you'd guess, he was well enough to attend and is in very good spirits despite the very grim situation so it didn't dull the tone of discussing his GBBR builds and he gave some excellent advice on MWS builds that I will certainly take on. I'll leave it for Ollie to give a clearer update on his condition with his next video as he's awaiting something more certain from his oncologist.

Welcome to the forum! I appreciate a nice Hi-Capa.

Welcome back! I was out for a similar time when I rejoined last year.

A double ton for all of this? There's dropping a price a lot for a quick sale then there are typos or something else that's really not right.

https://prefired.co.uk/ads/vorsk-hi-cappa-5-1-mag-and-holster-and-a-green-gas-container-only-used-twice/ "ONLY USED TWICE" Apparently the holster and green gas bottle push up the value to just £10 shy of retail for the base Vorsk pistol. With the leaking mag, it might be an easy fix but don't surprise yourself if it or the pistol Amber Heards itself by the winter.

I use a Blaster on AEGs and a Brighter C on my pistol. I tend to use a WML 400 replica for the torch on the AEG.
-
Clueless. He didn't even think to tie it in with the "Hardballer" pistol from the Hitman video game series to inflate the price further. What an amateur.
-
I'd imagine that could push the value up a bit higher than I'd estimated. I don't deny my fondness of a FAMAS but this one is so distinctive. It just needs the right buyer who would appreciate the money put into it.
-
Honestly, I haven't suggested anything as I'm not sure if it would be perceived of lower value because of the Northeast GBBR and because I don't know what the Real Steel top rail is worth. As this is unique and looks far more usable than either the original TM FAMAS or Cybergun's updated version with the basic MOSFET, I'd guess between £350 and £400 if you find the right FAMAS fan but I openly admit I could be way off with the top rail.

My Saturday was at Redcon-2 in Dalton Barracks near Abingdon, Oxfordshire for the "Shift Your RIFTs 2024" weekender organised by RIFT Airsoft. Getting registered and booked in was quick. Along with the wristband to distinguish between weekenders or one day only, we got a goodie bag with a site map, a raffle ticket for a RIFT game pass, flyers for some of the retailers at SYR, a little plastic wallet from Empire Airsoft (containing a company sticker and patch along with a 50-degree Flamingo VSR/GBB hop bucking) and a few other little bits. Chrono testing flowed quite quickly as at least 4 marshals were at the testing range ahead of the safety briefing and anything we planned to shoot with (including pistols) was tested and tagged if it within the limits. HPA players were apparently required to be tournament locked. Tony's brief was the stuff of legends and we all survived it! The main gameplay went quite smoothly where hit taking was pretty good though there was the odd squabble and a few tellings off by other players that "hit players don't talk" (other than saying they're hit) but it didn't escalate. We were allowed to call for a medic's help (any player able to put a coiled wristband over the hit player's wrist without being hit) if we were hit by a BB (melee and grenade kills didn't count). The medic was only practical for players in groups and certainly not for lone wolves. The morning session did become somewhat unbalanced as a lot of Red Team returned to the safe zone well ahead of the lunch break so Blue Team did become more dominant, especially as we pinned Red Team to their spawn location. In the interest of sportsmanship, Blue Team voluntarily fell back to allow Red Team to spread out and return something of a fight. In the afternoon gameplay, there was some team rebalancing as some players had taken a break. During the morning and afternoon sessions, convoys of military vehicles, including Sntach Land Rovers, were at our disposal to board and be driven along predetermined routes and dropped off at certain points. There were a few additional activities players could take part in off the main gameplay field including a 4v4 Arena Tournament, a Bunker Bash, a Revolver Duel (lots of laughs) and a Target Maze time trial. Food and drink options were plentiful. Breakfast rolls were available prior to the morning brief, hot savoury pastries, chocolate bars, water and canned drinks were available all day. Lunch on Saturday had hot dogs and chilli dogs (the chilli was homemade). In the evening, the MoD fired up the BBQ and served burgers and RIFT opened up its bar for beer and cider to round off the evening. Queues did get long during the lunch break but they moved quickly thanks to the catering staff being so efficient. RIFT's White Sphere Tactical partner store for RIF and accessory sales ran raffles across the weekend. Saturday had an 11-prize raffle with items including a Nuprol (I can't remember if it was large or XL) hard carry case, a tactical vest kit, several RIFs, a lifetime RIFT Airsoft membership. Sunday had 10 prizes available for the raffle. The weekend raffle was for a Tokyo Marui NGRS Mk 18. In addition to the raffles, there were promotional items for the event including t-shirts and morale patches. White Sphere Tactical also offered a 20% discount on Deadly Customs and Viper Tactical gear and they had the TM MP7 GBB available in limited quantities at £250 - they sold out by lunchtime. Charity donation buckets were around the shop and in RIFT's own shop (selling ammo, gas, merchandise and memberships) raising money for blood donor services. As the name of the event suggests, players could sell their unwanted RIFs, parts, gear, etc so there were a few bargains to be had. In addition to the private sellers, there were retailers selling RIFs, parts and gear, including the likes of BZ Tactical, Only Airsoft/Combat UK, Empire Airsoft (joined by Big Steve's Builds), Two Four Delta Surplus, Second Summit Surplus, Finch Embroidery, Viper Tactical and a few more. In terms of staffing and facilities, the event was well covered. As there were a lot more people attending than normal days/weekends at Redcon-2, everything had to be scaled up. There were 30 or so marshals to cover 500+ people on the gaming area, safe zone and camping area. As the event was open to the public for the boot sales, there was security patrolling the site also. I had no cause to fault any of the staff so if you got any grief from them, I would assume you had behaved like genitals and probably for the second time. There was no drinking water for the campsite - you'd have to either bring along your own or buy it at the site. For showers or bathrooms, none were available so it's up to your imagination for cleaning yourself if you stayed overnight. There were lots of portaloos about the site, some of which were turned around intentionally on Saturday so there would be "fresh" ones for those attending on Sunday. Inside White Sphere's shop leads to plumbed toilets but it was reserved for ladies only for this weekend. I had a brilliant time again at SYR and will certainly go back next year. The atmosphere was really good, helped by either catching up with friends to play alongside or making new acquaintances as we were all there for the same reason.

"Volunteer work" sounds like the classic out of touch Tory sentiment that reflects those who had the privilege of not needing to earn money because their parents were more than wealthy to cover them. On top of that, it's just a way to legalise not paying people for their services and make up for the shortfall.

I have no trouble with their 0.25g tracer BBs either.

Very mixed feelings for me. I was in Leicester visiting a friend last year and on the way back home I took a detour to visit the shop. Nice layout with the pistols and smaller accessories in the front with the till then then assault rifles, LMGs, sniper rifles, bulkier accessories, etc were in the back. The bloke manning the shop was quite friendly and helpful. They had a few Deadly Customs clearance items so I bought those as I was genuinely in the market for them. Earlier this year, I ordered online but they called me and were transparent about making a balls up on their stocktaking so they did an upgrade FOC. I wanted it promptly but didn't need it urgently though I paid for next day delivery on Saturday expecting a Tuesday delivery as I'd made the order in the afternoon but it wasn't delivered until the Tuesday after that. Not impressed with the delay whatsoever and I'd be reluctant to order online again from them. I couldn't agree more with the sentiment above. I want just about every airsoft retailer do well, especially when they have a physical store but Extreme Airsoft really needs to up its game with its online retail operations.

Whether it does the same job (ish) depends on what features you make use of. Granted, I used a different gearbox/platform when I bought the "full-fat" Perun MOSFET over the AB++ because I like the adjustable trigger sensitivity and more programmable firing modes.
-
70% of the cost of the gun and the MOSFET should be realistic then. The mags might carry 70% too but I wouldn't be surprised if offers come in bartering over them in particular.

My Specna RRA SA-E01 is feeding like a PIG now..

With the seating of your mags, have you tried using adhesive dots in the back of the magwell to bulk them out? Some of my non-STANAG mags fit more snugly in the magwell of either of my M4s when I use a couple of hook or loop dots. -
Anyone know Mrchrissyb1984 in the real world?
Galvatron replied to peter207's topic in General Discussion
I'd say there is a duty to warn others when he has made no effort to respond to any of your communications. @peter207 You were very generous in leaving a neutral rating. Your decision of course though I would think if you've paid money but not received what you paid for and he's not come back to you in a reasonable time that should call for a negative rating. EDIT: Seller was honest and came back -
The mags are proprietary, right?

https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/electric-powered/m4-stubby_i60914 Seller is after £120 for a used gun that looks very much like the one I can get here, brand new, for £95. https://www.brairsoft.co.uk/product/double-bell-pdw-polymer-body-black-808/
-
https://www.airsoft-hub.com/item/31213-handgun No licensed markings so I assume this isn't an old Marui or an Umarex. Either way, the seller's pricing is... divorced from reality unless it literally has 2 "gas tanks" that could be worth something.
-
The going rate is typically 60-70% of current retail prices for the gun and the will probably retain a similar percentage. By "good condition", are they any scuffs, scratches or other cosmetic issues worth noting?
