  1. My M904B has arrived. Lessssssssssssssgo. Sorry if someone asked it before but could anyone recommend mid-cap magazines for this gun? Ty in advance.
  2. People tend to build either high rps or trigger response build or DMR regarding aeg's. Your gun look like an ak-74 so I assume you don't want to build a DMR (but you can in case you want to!). 🤭 All of these require complete gutting of internals and a mosfet so your GB has to be opened. For a starter I'd only spend money on a decent inner barrel, hop-up bucking and nub. Use heavier and quality BB's for outdoor. If you're still not satisfied, you can spend a small fortune just on mosfet, gears, motor and compression parts.
  3. Personally I would never use 11.1v on a gun which doesn't have (mos)fet. You just ask for trouble regarding trigger contacts. Nothing wrong with 7.4v. Is it snappier on 11.1v? Of course. 😎

    THE TM MWS thread

Anyone tried to run it on HPA? If so, any good? Either I buy an MWS or MTW haven't decided yet. Ty.
  5. Is it internally stock or you changed hop-up unit/barrel/bucking? Cheers.
  6. What's your effective range on 0.30g? Forgot to ask last time. I may cheap out on ammo for now and I'll see how it goes first. Ty.
  7. You can certainly buy RIF's from private sellers and not having ukara or some other form of defence. You can buy two-tones from a shop so you don't need ukara in that case either. When someone waves any form of gun in a public space there is only one outcome usually. I mean this is the UK after all not the States you may have a better chance to survive here, lol.
  8. How do you know if someone served in the army? He's gonna tell you. (Based on true story from last Sunday.)
  9. Bolle Pilot safety googles. Cheap and comfy. Sadly when you use a lower face mask and a helmet you create a perfect seal and it's gonna fog up... I drilled small holes into the rubber part and helped a bit. For indoor use it's perfect because of the fps limits. For outdoor you may buy a better one because it's tested up until 120 m/s. Main reason I bought a helmet because I had enough getting shot in the forehead. Best investment so far. Being not comfortable is absolutely a personal issue. I paid 25 pounds for mine and I don't even notice if I wear it because it's padded. You don't have to spend a small fortune on gear in general. Cheap chest rig/plate carrier is gonna do the same job like an expensive one. Different material for sure but for airsoft purposes makes no difference.
  10. People call their hits if you use 0.30g at longer distances? Everyone says just buy the heaviest BB you can afford (and hop) for sniper/DMR purposes. But 0.40g is like crazy expensive compared to 0.28 or 0.30.
  11. Ty. Any kind of ZCI hop unit does the job or I need a specific one? Cheers.
  12. Anyone tried to hop heavier BB's with the stock hop-up unit? Like 0.40g? I really into the longer handguard versions it could be a super DMR base. Ty.

    Gaming Headset

Well, it's either true audiophile headphone or "gamer" headphone there is no between. Budget isn't mentioned, but Beyer Dynamic, Audio Technica and similar companies in that price range make very good headphones mainly for music. Built-in microphone is more gamery thing. Personally I use a Kingston HyperX Cloud first gen because one of the best heapdhone for that money regarding sound quality and it has a built-in mic as well. I would defo aim for a quality stereo one and maybe just buy a separate standing mic for communication if you've got space for it.
  14. Everything is possible as long as you've got money and free time. Just buy the gun and have a feel for it first. It already has a mosfet so you can put an 11.1v lipo on it. Trigger response can't be that bad. If you open your GB you will void your warranty straight away just keep in mind. You don't have to spend that much money just on a motor to be honest. I bet a proper 22tpa SHS and a 13:1 gear set could be already a good base for trigger response. Also, precocking is needed for snappy builds. If you use your gun as a DMR, I wouldn't worry about precocking. If you use it indoor, precock could mean a huge difference between two shots.
  15. You're a mad lad. I would never play without lower face mask... I ain't tall but I did spent some time trying to find a suitable solution for face protection. Dye i4/i5 paintball mask never fogs up and i5 is made for bigger heads. But a tactical helmet is never gonna flush with it and not everyone likes the look of it and people are gonna think you're a speedsofter. The horror! Lower mesh face mask is quite good for me because it's fully adjustable but I had fogging issues because the seal is so perfect with googles that air couldn't escape properly. I bought an earlier mentioned but similar balaclava+mesh combo which you can bend to your face but I don't know how good or bad is gonna be when average temp. is hot or at least warm all day long.
  16. According to YT reviews bucking is the main problem in cold temperature which can cause feeding issues. Second batch supposed to sort out this problem. Gun can be picky regarding batteries. It's strange...
  17. Social media is cancer. People try to outdo each other when in reality "everyone" has the same grey and boring life. Airsoft is quite unique regarding spending money because it's not difficult to see how deep that rabbit hole goes. It's crazy how easy to get addicted to get more guns when you don't need them actually but you can always find an excuse for yourself. 🤔
  18. It's not AR style but how about M14? Socom version is like a cute little Garand. Then there is SA-58, FN FAL, M14 EBR etc. I wouldn't call any of them small though. All 7.62x51mm chambered guns are gonna big bastards. That caliber belongs to mainly to battle rifles/DMR's after all. SA58-OSW or something similar could be an option. As long as you can fold the stock and make it smaller I can't see an issue. Fixed stock long guns aren't really suitable for cqb to be honest.
  19. There is a huge difference between playing airsoft and watching on YT. In other news water is wet.
  20. It's pretty straightforward to be honest. I didn't buy different serial number tag I used the original one. No need for sandpaper or dremel. Gen4. frame is spot on except the grip part because it's so tight you have to yank the mag out literally.
  21. Play at least three times on the same site so your UKARA can be sorted and you can buy brand new guns (if you wish). Choose a platform (AK, M4, G36, MP5 etc.) and it's eaiser to recommend something. I don't think you have to spend a lot on your first aeg, 99% of them does the same job out of the box. Essential kit? Some sort of helmet (even a cap is better than nothing), impact resistant glasses/googles, lower face mask or you can just buy a chep paintball mask. Chest rig or plate carrier so you can carry some mags on you instead having them in your pocket. If you play indoor you can get away with a lot more because you don't need that much gear, like camo or boots. Outdoor is a different aninal.
  22. It's not difficult to stay away since brexit... 😗
  23. Don't be too sad new mini scar in the works! You can find some videos on YT from this year's MOA (Taiwan). Fully licensed fn trademarks. Oem could be vfc I'm not sure.
  24. Internally I only changed recoil spring and guide rod (cowcow) and short stroked it. Lot snappier for follow up shots. I would only buy new nozzle and hammer set when it breaks. Marui's biggest weakness is the plastic slide not internals. Also, change gas route seals on your mags for nine ball/laylax roughly +15-20 fps.
  25. GHK G5 could be an entry level gun. You may even find a good deal as a used one. If you don't insist on M4/AK then ASG MP9 could be an alternative.
