  1. Universal constants my dude.... I'm responsible for shit I'm not even in the same time zone of apparently. Just remember - the more right you are the more in the shyte you will be. Just say sorry and shut up. That's the advice I told the boy - and it seems to be working with his new missus LOL. I on the other hand should learn to listen to my own advice.
  2. No soldering this week - it's all been crimpy crimpy: And unless I screw it up - there shouldn't be any soldering on the wiring tomorrow. Cheeky fecker.
  3. Interesting reading chaps. I'm surprised (but thinking about it shouldn't be) that a suppressor can make a significant difference. But then I suppose I have my head close to the gearbox of my pews compared to a few feet away when lamenting the apparent silence of other's; so there's a certain amount of misconception I suppose.
  4. Your case, and to a much lesser degree mine is why we need an alternative to the UKARA system. But like I mentioned, we're very much a minority sport, and within that you and I are a minority, so options are limited. Might be easier to get a sub category within the UKARA system to reduce fuckery with imports.
  5. You misunderstood. They're near the new ones just out of frame.
  6. I know HPA wankers have their super quiet sneaky peaky pews that make that disturbingly quiet little thumping noise when the trigger is pulled. But what about the AEGs I see doing that..... how is that achieved? Is it shimming? A fancy Schmancy brushless motor? Gears make from Adamantium and powdered kitten paw pads?
  7. Looking at the classifieds pop up from members with zero feedback, and even less forum interaction - I am somewhat surprised at how easy it is to post an ad. Some are blatantly from dealers/shops/not skirmishers.
  8. Honourable SIL is indeed just as batshit crazy, but in slightly different ways... However, one must not mistake family traits with the universal constant that is the female mind.
  9. Or my case - always wear full body protection because SWMBO would be spitting fire at the very thought of me firing BBs off in the house - even from 6000 miles away LOL.
  10. Even Patrolbase don't want them: https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/vorsk-vx-9-gas-blowback-airsoft-pistol
  11. I wonder when these will come to the world of toy pew pews....
  12. Furry muff.... but in my case at least - it doesn't change the situation. I might only be in the country for 60 days total, maybe less. In that time I will have to fit in family visits all over the south of England, carry out any maintenance that needed on my house, plus the expense of staying in Airbnb and renting a car for the duration. Depending on where I stay, I might not be able to attend my current regular site(s) here, so they might not be inclined to bend any rules to keep me UKARA'd; which I will need to buy any replacement pews or bring/send any back. I have no doubt the OP has a genuine reason for the lack of game time; and being in the minority of a minority, establishing a legitimate defense is a looking tricky.
  13. I have never been asked - and on the occasion I sold a pew - we actually met at a gameday for the handover, and considering the guy's costume, it was fair to say he was an airsofter LOL I made the point several pages ago that I will find it difficult if not impossible to maintain a UKARA defense in the manner it was intended as the boy and i will be living abroad for most of the year. There are many reasons the OP might not be able to get a UKARA, from being a carer to an international spy - he hasn't told us the reasons (which might assuage the negativity towards him) which is his right not to do. 3 games in three months isn't a lot if you're monied and present. Not everybody is. That being said... I find the Just-Cos thing rather fishy, and feel that there should be an alternative way to provide a defense. Because this is a knitting circle for overgrown children who like to run around with toy guns shooting each other
  14. But now you need a spare one... You know.... just in case.
  15. I find it bizarre that @Sneakyduck wants to build his empire by directly pissing off members of the forum by not answering a very basic question. It's not particularly entertaining, and I certainly won't be going to the site as a result.
  16. Amazon is free no quibble returns 😉
  17. Perhaps I should be more specific..... Transporting a RIF sensibly to a skirmish (or home, shop).... I don't mean walking around as if you think you're John Wick. If you're pulled over by the fuzz with a load of RIFs in your car and you act like a dick with or without a reason for them being there....expect to get tazed and arrested.
  18. £140 new, not leaking and not two-toned masked by an iffy camo tape.
  19. Went to Bespoke today as I was working half an hour away and had underlings to do work whilst I looked important. So I pulled rank and ducked out for a bit with my faulty from new AA G36 GBBR. If you remember the other thread, it is firing a shot at 500 ish fps, then everything subsequent to that just rolls out of the barrel. I bought it from them at the end of last summer, then had trouble getting in touch, and then work/travel commitments made getting to their then Slough based store tricky. Talking to them today, I am willing to grant them the communication issues were down to them preparing for the move. New shop is looking pretty damn impressive. They have a fairly big unit on a small trading estate. I assume a warehouse downstairs, then a large open office upstairs with a new shop area that is going to be quite big too. They answered the buzzer and let me in unannounced. An incredibly polite staff (I think the owner) took my pew, which is now well over 6 months from purchase, listened to the description of the fault and said he'd take it down to his tech whilst I had a look around. I was then given a tour of the new office, shop, firing range, pistol showroom and Air gun showroom. There was not much in stock at the moment as they're still bringing things up from the Slough premises. But they had, amongst other things, the Walther WA2000 along with some very nice looking pistols that I had to fight very hard to resist. I wish I had £780 to spend on a wall hanger. Had a good 30 or so minutes left to my own devices whilst the nice lady behind the counter helped some dude pick out a pew for his daughter, then the guy came back to say that they could see the problem I was having, and would keep the pew for a few days to fix it as they didn't have another in stock, implying to me, that he would have been happy to give me a replacement - so top marks there. They also confirmed that once they're finished setting up, they will be doing all kinds of repairs, upgrades, and customisations in house as well as sales. This should take them another week or two, but i have two or three non essential pews that need attention that no one else seems to be interested in (or that I'd trust), so they'll be heading there once the G36 is proven. Sooo.... If one were to take everything at face value, and assuming they fix my RIF, then I am a happy bunny and they deserve all the success after what must be an eye wateringly expensive investment. Can't blame the shop for a faulty RIF out of the box, but unlike Only Airsoft in Stevenage, where there seems to be an attitude of "warranty is up to them" once you leave the shop, Bespoke seem to just want to keep you happy. Although to be fair to Only Airsoft, they have honoured the warranty when required - it's just the perception that they give off that is unnecessary. Certainly can't fault Bespoke for care and attention so far! Standby for updates.
  20. So the insurance policy is pointless in and of itself - WTF kind of incident are we as airsofters going to be involved in that needs a payout - it would be covered by the site insurance/waiver (arf) that we signed that day. Carrying a RIF isn't illegal in and of itself unless you are doing something stupid with it..... So it is a scam/rouse to allow unscrupulous pew purveyors to flog RIFs with a £20 surcharge on the first purchase and lock the buyer into buying only from them. I might contact Patrolbase/Bespoke Airsoft and see what their policy would be towards a previously validated purchaser returning in the future without UKARA. BTW see other thread on Bespoke Airsoft - I went to their new pad today.
  21. Yes, I'm still considering the pricing, but to be fair, he's invested big bucks on that place and also trying to recoup cash from the fuckeries with the council. I have a day in hand, so will probably try the cqb next gameday, but having played at Sentinel (hybrid cqb/outdoors), I think I'm an outdoor player. Partly because I need the space for stopping and turning distances. Have they moved they gee gees a bit further away from the building? Couldn't work out if they're doing lunches there too. For those looking at the pictures and videos....a lot of those walls are made out of scaffolding boards, pasloaded onto both sides of pallets. They're not going anywhere
  22. Hi there, Can you post up the dimensions and pocket count? Cheers.
  23. I'm starting to wonder if this is a misplaced advert for Just-Con? Hell, my plans for semi retirement this year have had a spanner thrown in the works. For £30 per head I'm sure I can provide a respectable database of data to provide a defense.... any stupidity needs to be done on an already insured site DM me for details. 🫡
  24. Do you have the wording of the policy? What is it insuring you against? I don't think hurting someone's feefees is a thing....just yet at least.
