Cyma SVD or Arcturus AK-12... Hmm 🤔

Picked up an AliExpress 6b47 out of fear my genuine one will get scratched and I have to say, the quality is really good (For a knock off airsoft helmet ofc)

Fitted the ZCI hop unit with a maple leaf macaron 50 and omega nub. It didn’t like it at all, jams etc. For the first time in years I’m using a different hop combo. Seems the standard ZCI stuff is perfect though. 302.6 on 6 shots before moving up to 303.4 😳

Heads up to any fellow glasses wearers, but I recently tried ReglazeMySpecs for the first time, after finding an old thread about them on here.
 
I ordered on the Sunday, sent off my old inserts on the Monday, and received them back and finished on the Friday, all for under £17!
 
Can't recommend them enough, and a much cheaper alternative to Specsavers. 😃

Looking at getting an AK-105, either an LCT or E&L… The only issue is I’m not sure which brand to go with 😂
 
I like that the E&L is more accurate to the real pew, but the LCT should in theory be built to a higher standard (As they seem to be known for).

Reece could you please contact me. You have sold me the Ak and I have recieved it. But it was advertised as an LCT but it is not, its a cyma. There is also 2 magazines missing and a silencer. Now you will not answer my calls and have blocked me.

SCAMMER! Do not buy anything from him , took my rif I recently got from him to be assessed at patrol base and not one thing was right . Nothing was what he claimed it to be and was done at poor standards to the point as when i put in a battery it burst into flames!! It took him 2 whole weeks to send his end of the trade after he said he’d send it the same day. Then to top that starts selling parts from my end of the trade before he’d even posted his ! It's honestly incredible how every single teching session steadily goes from theraputic to requiring therapy yourself in the span of around 30 minutes, you'll have 90% of whatever you wanted to do done, get stuck with one tiny thing, get frustrated/order what you needed, and when you're closing your gun back up until said part comes or you can have the patience again something'll go wrong or a spring'll be a cunt and before you know it you're a shivering, sobbing mess losing your mind praying you'll never pick up a hexhead screwdriver ever again

After the eventual gearbox lock up of my G36KA4 build yesterday, I have given up with the internals. I may put the upgraded gearbox into my JG C build and go back to a standard S&T gearbox/hop unit for this A4.
 
Externally I've managed to get a correct "K" style gas block. I've also managed to half fit the CCW G36 barrel extension from a JG onto the Umarex CW thread with some tape and force to bring the outer barrel length down. It's a temporary fix until I can get a 14 x 1 LH tap or a custom extension made. I've been toying with the idea of trying to make a rear wire modification to the stock where you can fold it, insert a battery and then fold it back to "normal" as the rail is an absolute nightmare to fit any type of battery into at all... 

This G36KA4 build is going to be the death of me. Parts held at customs and incurred charges. The hop up I managed to get fitted has fell apart. The K length inner barrel has put the fps to 360 and the selector plate has failed. All a few days before I’m going to a game 🤬

Why is it that I only seem to like a gun once it goes out of fashion and is hard to get hold of?

I would like to wish everyone a very happy Christmas and New Year.
It's been an interesting,funny and,at times,fudal year of forum shannigins and banter which all makes afuk the place to be.
 
As of now I am in Christmas mode and shall be donning the Santa apron and putting the Heineken hat on and staying up late.(10.30ish) lol.
 
I shall probably go dark for a while as posting up eats into drinking time🍺🍺.
 
God willing I shall be looking forward to another year of Airsoft and gun fun 😁
