Despite the low FPS it’s firing at a decent distance and has some power behind the shots. I did notice that I need to pull the trigger twice on the first shot for the BB to feed, not sure if that’s also normal as it does have a mosfet. I’ve emailed patrolbase when I found the low fps but no doubt it’ll take a while for a response

Bought an Umarex HK416 A5 AEG from Partrol base yesterday, chrono’d it today and this was the results. It’s my first Umarex AEG, Is this normal for them?

Same problem me and many others had with the site I mentioned too. A fair few people have stopped playing there based on poor marshalling from literal teenagers.

Blank pistols at a skirmish is ridiculous imo. If it’s a milsim/immersion then fair enough, but I don’t think it’s needed at all in your average Sunday skirmish. Loud noises send me into a panic, one of my old local sites marshals (who was about 13, but that’s another story) decided to constantly fire a blank pistol at the start of games and randomly throughout the games. Made the entire day awful for me 😂

I was in one of the safezone containers at splatoon yesterday and there was a few guys firing inside, barrel socks off. Luckily the mags was out and the chambers empty but as they was rentals, that was definitely due to luck rather than them checking it was clear etc (Not that it excuses it) admittedly they was taken care of by a marshal, but still not ideal. Prior to the barrel sock rule, somebody was shot in the safe zone during an airsoft event which is why I think it was introduced. Personally I'm a huge fan of it as it does eliminate a lot of the risk, but only if people use their due diligence and actually adhere to the rules set by the site.

I was also at splatoon today 😂 It’s my go to site now after being constantly let down by the closest site to me, and I’ve never had an issue with their marshals or players which is fantastic. Shame you was the opposite team 😉

£90 + £10 postage from him, but he was nice enough to post the link to patrolbase where it's £95 + £7 postage with a warranty, it's brand new and works. For the sake of maybe £30(?) in accessories, I personally would rather buy one that's brand new. 🤨

Ideal if people want to HPA it or fully redo the internals too, to be fair. Saves them a little bit of money than buying brand new

Direct action gear in Poland just took more of my money 😬 They finally had the assault panel, radio wings & 3 mag pouch in stock at the same time so I had to buy them. Platecarrier is finally getting the WAS pouches replaced with the kosher option 😂

Thanks guys! I think I’ll add a way to disconnect the wiring just to be safe, I don’t suppose it’ll be too long before the gearbox gives out 😬 At least once it dies it gives me a reason to replace the gearbox with better parts 😉

I’ve had a brief google and didn’t find much, apologies if such a thread already exists. I have a G36 (Think it’s a JG) that is in a sorry state, wiring is fecked, gearbox is fecked etc. Although it only cost me £25 so I’m not mad. I’ve been desperate to try out the AB++ by Perun and figured this would be the perfect gun, but it’s front wired. Looking at the AB++ diagram it seems front wiring isn’t out of the picture. Has anybody done it, or got ideas on how to do it? Also looking for recommendations on a decent hop rubber for a 310 fps gun. My initial choice was a 50 degree macaron. Thanks in advance!

I got my plexiglass sweetheart grips today after searching in the UK for forever, over the moon is an understatement! They was made by crafty_sod on Instagram, he does a lot of made to order resin stuff like gun charms etc and now is experimenting with grips too.

How comes? Is it frowned upon? I was planning on wearing it at a local skirmish in my 'nam kit 😬

I've tried a few different brand mags in the pistol so far and none fit, the closest I got was the raven co2 1911 mag that went roughly 3/4 of the way in. Unfortunately the parkerised mags are out of stock, so just wondering if anybody has the same gun and knows which alternative mags fit it? This is the original mag:
