Where on earth did you find a deac L85?

A friend bought one up to show off, it was a recent purchase. He said that it might have been a pre production sample that was partially modernised for testing and then deactivated once it served its purpose, but that's third hand info at this point that I haven't been able to verify. They are very rare and he wouldn't give me an exact number on how much it cost, but it was well north of 5k

The SUSAT is also genuine of course and in very very good condition

This is why there's only like, three Airsoft YouTubers I watch.

Most reviews they just unbox it, plink at a target in their garden, and maybe put it through a chrono before telling you it's incredible and to buy it immediately.

This is something that annoys me greatly and the reason I don't do gun reviews, it's not really a representative review of the gun if that's all you have the space for

  3. That's a pricey price, what differentiates it from the spina OEM OKP-7 that begun manufacture recently?

The reason I ask is Spina doesn't have an amazing reputation for electronics, I've had a couple go kaputt within a few months now with no impacts or anything

It's a shame as they OEM some of the weird optics choices like a half decent susat and G36 scope, but again the electronic stuff tends to fall short on their internal connections and that's quite a price difference

We've had this one here before, the issue is that the aimpoint is most likely genuine. It's obviously not an M2 but it does match the M4 I have (and notably doesn't have the design differences that my repro m4 has)

He's ruined it with the paintjob though and frankly if he gave it a decent paintjob and wrote on the listing what's actually on the gun then he'd have a much better chance of selling it

    Hey guys !

I could use a bit of help and advice here.

I’ve been running the MWS platform for 5 years now. My latest setup TM M4A1 and a Noveske N4, and I’ve really enjoyed using them. Unfortunately, with a busy personal life kids, work, and everything else I can only make it out to airsoft games about 4–5 times a year.

Lately, it’s becoming really expensive to maintain this setup. My mags are starting to leak, likely from sitting unused for long periods. My nozzle broke recently, I replaced it, and it broke again. Between the cost of mags, gas, and general maintenance, it’s getting hard to justify the expense.

I’ve been playing since 2014, and my first replica was a WE M14 GBBR. I've always preferred GBBRs and never really touched AEGs, but with the rising costs and the fact I had twin babies last year, I just can’t spend the kind of money I used to.

Is there a way to keep running this system more affordably? Or should I be considering alternatives at this point?

Any advice or suggestions would be really appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

O rings can be easy to replace but getting the size right can be a frustrating initial cost. For standard TM MWS mags, I use m4 x 1 and M12 x 1.5.

For the nozzle, which brand of nozzle did you replace it with? Some brands like angry gun have a higher failure rate than average, but it can also be caused by loading the magazines to max capacity which then puts upward pressure on the nozzle, leading it to come into battery at an incorrect angle and break

Norsso is a firearms manufacturer, they do not make airsoft pieces. So slide etc are clones.

Sig uses black machine screws exclusively on their optics, and the button surround is made with a different material to the rest of the body on Romeo-X Compact, whereas its not on this.

Zenitco uses a knurled alumnium attachment screw, the design shown there is exclusively SOTAC clones.

    etc etc

Should probably report that to the mods then rather than here tbh, the slide is common sense because airsoft but the rest is false advertising

Some creative pricing right there, also conveniently failing to mention which companies have oem'ed the clones, but even if we assume most expensive, I do not understand how that tracks to reality.

Unless they're not clones, if they're clones and he hasn't disclosed that (which he hasn't) then that's a different issue, but the listing implies that they're genuine

Hmmm what do we make of the absence of a reply!🤣

But I have seen some positive feedback on them, specifically from Jaegar Precision.

Also, as a Well Pro owner, the customer service is top notch if you do need to contact them. :)

It's worth noting that he does sell these as part of his job, with anything of a 'first batch' nature the usual argument of 'he wouldn't sell it if it sucked' doesn't really hold up unfortunately, so perhaps a pinch of salt is advised.

I'm still planning to get their PP19 when it comes out, but I haven't really seen enough yet to say enough about wellpro's capability aside from the teething issues that have been brought up like double feeding

  9. No, that's a restrictor disc, it's not beneficial and can be removed by screwing it out. Leaving it in causes backpressure against the rocket valve when closing, which hampers blowback slightly and can introduce inconsistency in FPS.

Inside there may still be an npas, mine had the restrictor and npas as well

  10. Yeah it's not a reproduction so a lot more than 200 at least (even the repros aren't worth that but for a different reason lol) but it's hard to say, not having any other in the UK also makes it valuable but again, hard to say.

I found a shop listing for the civilian version that went for 2k cad (about 1k GBP in today's money, a lot more back then) and this is the military version, and again the 3.4 doesn't exist anymore as a model and the actual military C79 is long gone

I'd be interested if you do decide to sell it.

I'm open to offers but like I say, I'm not in a rush either way

  12. Genuine Elcan C79/Spectre OS3.4x, the black non-tensioner variant that came before the green variant.

Scope is real, mount is real, reticle is the canadian post. As far as I'm aware, this is the first and only C79 to enter the UK

I'm not really sure if I want to hold onto it for long so I'm gauging opinions here, the C79's were never intended to be surplussed afaik so it's a bit rare, from what I can tell they were supposed to all be destroyed as part of the C7A2 modernisation program

I happen to have a spare kidney going for that GBB L86...

Nice work. Would love to see a mag dump from it.

Lol I'm always open to offers but it's a one off

I'm uploading gameplay and planning to do a build video on the YouTube but I don't know if I'm allowed to post that kind of thing here, if not then you can just Google me and you'll find it
