  1. definitely! and with our preknowledge of that, no problemo. but the name in it self, to one who is not familiar to the brand, is hardly one that gives great confident. not in the west anyway.
  2. Indeed, thou it seems to be this leaves you fairly exposed in many situations, both by having a barrel sticking out and by forcing you close to the cover? For example if I'm aiming out of a building, my barrel will be visible from the side and because I am force so near to the window the shade would conceal be as well as it would would I stand further in.. maybe even having two bipods might be an idea to consider Thank you very much for the pic and info!! Thou I got to admit I have a hard time seeing anything grey/silver apart from what I assume is the screwdriver, however am I correct in my assumption that the part highlighted green below is what I am looking for? I assume the shade make it look darker than it actually is? oh and what carry system do you use?
  3. oh I DO have an issue with the name "Jing Gong"... if you have not already heard about them what first comes to mind if cheap china. but golden eagle firstly sounds too close to double eagle, secondly sound like a childish attempt to make a "cool" name.
  4. maybe not.. who ever came up with the idea however I cannot understand how they reason.
  5. why on earth would they do that... oh jbbg....
  6. I've heard very bad things about Asia Electric Guns.
  7. then again, many are very happy purchasing from them! I currently use a TMC chest rig, I can't fault it.
  8. oh! only seen them sold separately and says they are not sold any more (suppose them being installed on newer ones would explain why). generally the lockup is because you releasing the trigger before the gearbox done the full rotation or something like that, which is more common on low battery.. had plenty of it at cqb sites, but no problem as I can switch to auto to fix it. I do not know which version it is, it will be kept with a relative until September so I have no access to it. but is there any chance of photographing the mag well in such way that the switch is visible? so any opinions on the bipod at all?
  9. a real sword SVD.. I hear is one of the few guns that are somewhat DMR ready ootb, and the groupings I've seen on youtube is satisfying. which is a very nice thing indeed, but never the less I intend to start working my way thru "THE Holy Grail of building your DMR AEG". One of my main concerns about getting a DMR is the gearbox lockup. The thread explain that by installing an AB mosfet as well as removing the anti-rev-latch & spring, I will remove the possibility of gearbox lockup.. so.. where do I best get an AB mosfet? (UK/EU/international) Oh the gun is 2nd hand, have seen very little action, has been fitted with a madbull hop and deans connectors. also comes with 4x posp scope and 3 mags. apart from that I realise this is a fairly heavy gun, meaning I will need a decent sling system. especially as sidearm will have to be utilised whenever indoors or going around corners. The local sniper guy who was the person who inspired me to get a precision rifle quite smoothly uses a 3 point sling. So is there any particular ones that are practical and comfortable? or any other sling systems to be recommended? I do not currently have a sidearm in Sweden, but I do think an AEP might be more suitable than a GBB, as it might come to see a fair amount of more use than I normally would put on sidearm. I am thinking the CYMA or TM g18c. Bipod... yay or nay? near the end of the barrel or near the receiver? And apart from mentioned, as well as starting to read up on sniping & fine tuning.. anything else I should consider? any particularly good guides to read? oh.. and yea.. I'll prob go lipo... happy now? so yea.. lipo warning systems/chargers? where from, which to get?
  10. that scope + that mount. damn!
  11. no. but to be fair, it does not mean nothing good will come from it, gets the idea out there if nothing else.
  12. What??!! You mean I went through all that hassle getting a firearms cert all for nothing?!
  13. Yea probably! just I wouldn't put quite those words on my gun! aah, mags! I love makings different variations on them, just because I can do thing wouldn't dare on to put my aeg thru.. like when the snow came I really wanted to paint my gun white.. good thing I only painted the mag because no one else was up to playing in snow >_<
  14. some mock trades would be really cool.. looks like a proper trademark, but when you looks closer it says something completely diffrent
  15. where's the pink gun? otherwise real nice!
  16. So, I am a bit confused.. I got a few diffrent pieces of information that clash. I've heard cm.042 and above are VFC based, but a forum member I trust contradicted that and said that the cm.042 is TM based. Another opinion is that cm.048 and above is VFC based, but I got a cm.045 myself, and it is VFC based. I also recently came across this blog post about the cm.040, the last picture seems to suggest it's VFC based.... Maybe everyone could post the ones they have personal experience (or some picture source/other evidence?) with, and we can make a list. if there's a diffrence in opinion I will count VIP membership and number of posts. etc. the ones I have owned and remember the model number of: cm.028, cm.045, cm.050.. I will add to the list from what is posted:) TM: -cm.028 -cm.042 -cm.046 -cm.5## (full plastic/slightly modded - not confirmed) VFC -cm.045 -cm.050
  17. cheers!! take it that it will fit an aeg?
  18. WOW!! where do I get a mag release like that one??? selector lever and wear also looks amazing!! ...not to sure about the green rope thou, but each to their own
  19. I really hope these people are not airsofters.
  20. Classic Army B&T. had two, superb! some players regard it as one of the best airsofts out there. I don't have the knowledge to back that, but they are darn good!
  21. if it was me.. get a transparent G&G CM to save money on rental, then when you have your UKARA, put it aside as your backup and get the G&P
  22. yes, and legally as well.
  23. The G&G Combat Machine is mainly plastic, but it feels really solid, and for approx £110 its a darn good value for the money. Do not go on material alone, metal alone is no indicator of quality. but if you really want metal and you are prepared to spend, get a G&P, they are great. assuming you want an M4. I also always recommend to have atleast two working AEGs before you get a sidearm. it sucks when you can't play because your gearbox doesn't work. The max legal FPS for something that can go full auto is 1J, which is generally what sites allow. Most AEGs shoot more powerful than that out of the box, you will have the have the spring downgraded to a m100 or a m95/m90 if you want to be on the safe side. Also consider that until you have a UKARA number, most likely anything you buy will be two tone. and until you skimish regularly it is also illegal for you to paint over it. and if you're under 18 you're not allowed to buy any AEG, nor to pass money/services/anything to anyone to get one for you. A 18+ person (parents) can buy one and *gift* it to you (bday/religious holidays). hope it helps, welcome to AFUK and to airsoft!
