  1. Not cheap but they do exist, just be sure that the ones you choose have an adequate rating. https://www.safetyspecs.co.uk/
  2. maybe an idea? If not I'm close to you and don't mind having a look.
  3. These are what I use, https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mechanix-Wear-M-Pact-Covert-Gloves/dp/B00SNLIIXE/ref=sxts_rp_s_1_0?content-id=amzn1.sym.2132928c-85bc-4373-9689-b31e59e5ad5f%3Aamzn1.sym.2132928c-85bc-4373-9689-b31e59e5ad5f&crid=1HDRKM5KV6UPW&cv_ct_cx=mechanix&keywords=mechanix&pd_rd_i=B00SNLIIXE&pd_rd_r=c5acf064-85be-43b2-abc1-e9d793bd946d&pd_rd_w=gN201&pd_rd_wg=dUEYp&pf_rd_p=2132928c-85bc-4373-9689-b31e59e5ad5f&pf_rd_r=TCYN0K1HR18VJD4RPM14&psc=1&qid=1663502780&sprefix=mechanix%2Caps%2C97&sr=1-1-9d35b2fb-722c-404c-ae6e-16ef63349c57
  4. Same with mine, even with a metal kit it will finish a mag.
  5. Stew you are a hero! Followed your troubleshooting ended up reinstalling the bbu and now its working a treat! Thank you again. 👍
  6. Hi all, My TM 1911a1 used to drop mags when firing occasionally. However I've just put a metal kit on it and the problem is much worse. I'm using the original springs but it seems the extra weight of the slide moving forward is enough to dislodge the mag, I've tried a guarder mag release but the mags don't lock in at all when using it. Any ideas guys? Thanks
  7. I'll use Geoffs whenever I can, if not I've had no issues with g&g.
  8. I have fitted the G&P handguard to mine and have found the same issue with the pin. However if I use the pin from my old TM mp5k it goes straight through.
  9. TM M16A1 springer, still shoots well enough 20 plus years later!
  10. Finally in the club 😂 In regards to the tight magazines, I've noticed the one it came with seems to need a bit more encouragement to fit but the others are fine.
  11. I agree with the above, I've used guarder frames on a G17 and a G18 both with aluminum slides and mainly green gas, even with the full auto of the G18 and thousands of rounds through both i've never had an issue.
  12. Just another tacticool Krink.
  13. If its a gun I actually skirmish then I use it normally and I'm happy with any marks it picks up along the way.
  14. Your best bet would be to call fire support. They usually have donor guns even if the website says out of stock.
  15. Mine works fine with either my PGC metal slide or the TM plastic one.
  16. I think this is the sloset you will get at the moment. https://www.airtac.me/shop/p/tm-mp5-ngrs
  17. It is a lovely bit of kit, If only I could find some half decent Western revolvers to go with it. Speaking of which have you seen the new TM single action army? Such a shame about its laughable power (90-100 fps on .2) as it actually has hop! They do have an interesting design if you haven't already seen them https://www.socomtactical.net/tokyo-marui-saa-single-action-army-spring-revolver/
  18. Thanks guys, I think I'll end up going the gas route, power is around 275 on a .2 at the moment. Ideally I would like that to be on a .3. I'm looking into barrel and hop options at the moment. I'm hoping with a combination of all three I could squeeze a bit more range out of it. I'm under no illusions this would be cheap or even give significant gains. But its a nice project. This is the exact model for anyone interested. https://www.airsoftworld.net/ktw-m1873-winchester-airsoft-rifle-latest-2019-model-with-walnut-furniture.html Thanks again.
  19. Hi all, So I have a KTW winchester rifle and would like to change the spring for a bit more power. Has anyone changed a spring in one of these? I can't seem to find any info about these. I'm thinking I'm going to have to get a spring made up? Thanks
  20. Airsoft direct still have preorders available for the end of June no mags though. Only high caps available at the minute.
