  1. Yes. At that price even if it worked you'd get more power and accuracy throwing it at your target
  2. I think I see the problem How much did you pay for it? This may seem harsh but it looks like you've bought a cheap pos from somewhere like onlybbguns
  3. As others have posted, it's probably going to be against the uni's t&cs to keep rifs in halls of residence. The society should be able to advise you on alternatives. I use a gun bag similar to this when using public transport to get to games. https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/8fields-tactical-long-double-rifle-47-147cm-gun-case?pv=16035 When I first started I used to use a hard rifle case as it's more secure but I found it actually drew more attention from the public
  4. Are you? I thought you're Shamal
  5. Welcome. The best way to get started is to book a game at a local site. Check out https://playairsoft.uk/ to find sites in your area. As for what to buy I recommend renting for your first 3 games as the site will provide you with a gun and face protection so all you'll need to have is decent footwear (many outdoor sites insist you wear boots not trainers as they provide less grip the risk of twisting your ankle is far higher). There are laws governing the sale of airsoft guns so without a site membership you'll be stuck with having to buy a brightly coloured 2 tone gun (assuming you're 18 or over). Renting also means you'll be able to get a better idea of what suits you
  6. I'd guess they're doing it as a sale is a sale. Imo they're dodgy as they can be obtained without ever setting foot on a site
  7. That's certainly a novel way to attach the afg
  8. So the mrs walked out of the shower, winked at me and said "I've just shaved down there, you know what that means?" I looked up and replied "yeah, the bloody drain is blocked again" It's lucky the sofa is comfy
  9. Wtf? Simply attaching optics shouldn't make the warranty invalid, that sounds more like the shop looking for excuses to not give a crap. Unless I've missed something
  10. What do cancer and Costco have in common? OJ in a box
  11. Bloody hell, that's definitely one to avoid
  12. Is that what you say to the mrs after dress up night?
  13. I'd go for a red dot. Imo engagement ranges aren't really long enough to make magnified scopes necessary. Also when I tried it I found that the narrower sight picture made getting on target quickly harder with a scope. Whatever you go for I highly recommend some sort of lens protection as having them shot out is bloody annoying and expensive to replace
  14. It's more that on one side the padding starts just by my arm pit and the other is halfway down my chest You beat me to it
  15. Taken on Thursday at South Herts Airsoft. I really should get round to sorting out the shoulder straps on the chest rig. It's comfortable but not having them even is triggering my OCD
  16. As much as I'm a fan of German guns and HK in particular, that I kind of like
  17. As the cyma .28 models are the cheapest AK they do and come with a plastic body for about £130 I'd say everything is wrong with that advert Edit. Apologies for the double post, I thought it would merge with the post above automatically
  18. Bloody hell. All I did was leave a laughing emoji reaction and post it here, I dread to think what would've happened if I actually commented Don't tease me with such lovely things
  19. It must be the season for piss taking prices for hi cappas. No mention of any internal "upgrades" so I guess the only changes are the fugly decorative bits
  20. I think you're right. I would've thought they'd take the hint when it didn't sell first time and lower the price rather than put it up Edit: he's clearly a serial piss taker. His advert for a TM 416 has labour included in the list of costs for the upgrade Running it for 25 years? I'm sure I remember them making a big song and dance about having new owners 10 to 15 years ago
  21. I've only ever bought from DCA once as it was a small part I couldn't find anywhere else and it all went smoothly. However I agree some of his prices are an absolute joke. What really puts me off buying from him though is the way he acts like a spoiled child on social media
  22. Definitely the WE. Raven have terrible quality control and unless you just want a holster filler to complete a look should be avoided, in which case there are cheaper options available
  23. If it's dead out of the box then return it for a refund or replacement. You shouldn't have to spend extra time or money to fix something that's sold not working. Also don't open it up as this could make the warranty invalid
