Yes I thought about that as well. But a packet of multi coloured cable ties are cheap and if you are that way inclined you will just pick the colour that's in use on the day.☹️

I see what you mean but as @Rogerborgsaid the buffer tube needs to be attached because the screw that attached it also screws into the spring guide which helps to hold it rigid. So has the gearbox shit itself?

When you say that the spring bends mid shot what do you mean and how do you know?

Hi and welcome to the madness.👍 Yes I would second the above from @Galvatron. Do make sure the visor is up to Airsoft safety ratings. Also some visors do t provide protection for side entry of bbs. It may be best to get a pair of Airsoft shooting glasses/goggles as well. Enjoy the sport,stay safe and call your hits 🙂

Bit of a strange one this. Have stripped gun and overhauled gearbox,lubed and reassembled.New ally nozzle fitted. Cleaned barrel and renewed all hop parts. Put gun back together and run it through the chrono. This is where it gets weird. Gun was reading around 178 to 208 fps on 0.2 with a m100 spring and it was firing one bb and missing one. I think that's feckin' mad, what's wrong? I carried on firing through the chrono and suddenly it was giving a reading of 344,344,333,338,344... and no missed shots.That's when I noticed that the mag was resting on my leg. When I held gun with no pressure on mag it returned to low fps again and alternately firing one and missing one. I discovered that if I held gun upside down it fired faultlessly and with a very good(344....) fps. I can't figure it out 🤔 Any ideas? Thanks

That's correct.

O rings are built into the nozzle. You can get single or double o rings but single work just as good. You will need to measure the length of the nozzle to get the right one.

Don't worry about going into loft. Take some pics with your moby and post em up with your name and date.👍

Yeah I think it would be good to check if that nozzle has an o ring. Plus you can check the rest of the compression side of things. V2 boxes aren't that scary.👍

Ok so it works pretty good that's a start. How about that air nozzle. It looks like an old plastic one and some of the plastic air nozzles didn't have an o ring. Could be loosing some pressure there. I'm guessing you have checked the hop up bucking for holes?

The trouble with fairy liquid is that you could still get fogging plus a face full of suds. Mind you the eye pro will be lovely and clean 🙂

It's not a seal in any sense bud it just helps to take up any slack between the barrell and hop.
