Well mixed feelings! The mws performed amazing for an hr until it stopped firing. Tired another mag and still nothing. Then gas came shooting out the breach. Turns out 6 to 7 bbs got jammed in the barrel. No idea how. There was chopped plastic everywhere . I used a cleaning rod to push them out. Cleaned the barrel. Put it back together. Tried it. It shoots about 10m and the bbs arc downwards. I expect the hop rubber is shagged to bits. No idea really truth be told. Also I’ve no idea how much damage I may have caused. Any advice appreciated.

Hop adjustment question guys. When looking at the hop through the mag well with the barrel pointing to the left to increase the hop you turn the wheel in the opposite direction ie towards the right towards the stock end yeah ?

Weather is saying 14c for Sunday. Damn that’s cold! Guess autumn is finally upon us. Abbey ultra predator gas should be fine I assume? On a bb loading note, I’ve just got a Marui XL speed loader come in today. It’s still kinda tough loading the mags. That spring is one tough mother that’s for sure. Is that what people are generally using to load their mags?

I only play woodland so more time to reload under cover etc I guess but 5 mags is an odd number. Better buy another to make it even as my vest has 6 pouches 😂 Edit: Just checked it has 10 pouches! 😮

If you've had your mags for 2 months they will be the type 2 new mag so will hold more gas than the original mags so my take on this is that the green gas mod isn't needed....

I was watching Bada Bing (yet again) and he says he exclusively runs propane (as does my BBQ). I suddenly thought ain't that a bit dangerous running around with propane filled mags? Then again all airsoft gases are similar I expect.. It's not as if you're gonna chuck a mag into a bonfire now are we? So how many mags do people actually run around with? I have 5 in total now. Bagged 4 from FS this week... Is that enough? I accept the MWS mindset is a different playing style which will need adapting to so potentially mag bb and gas refills during a game (something which I'd normally do during a return to the safe zone)...

Gentlemen, Can someone explain how you run the MWS on propane? Are any special mods needed to the mags or the MWS itself? I did a quick chrono using Abbey Ultra on 0.2's and was getting between 330-336 (only did about 20 shots)...Will propane take the fps over 350 so not advisable? Abbey also do Sniper and Vertex gas, so was wondering if any of these are recommended? I believe these high power gases have no lubricants so will this mean additional maintenance may be needed after each game? thx

Well I’m officially in the club. And it’s my first two tone gun ever 😂. The deal was simply too good to pass up. Thank you to the seller who sold it. You’re a gentleman sir! And before anyone says, it’s green. I know. The chap was not UKARA registered when he bought it in March and it’s never been skirmished with either. Anyway, I’ve a CTR stock to replace the cheap plastic marui one and I’ll add a DD defence rail once I get a PTS barrrel spacer. In the mean time I’ll take the rail off my sopmod. They are the same I do believe. And, OMG, the recoil/blowback. Bloody hell! My teeth fell out 😂

Very, very nice Mr R! I do like how your build has turned out... that rail looks well sweet I must say and the Magpul furniture complements it nicely.. 'The best gun you have had the pleasure of ever owning..........?' I wonder how I'll feel pitting one up against my PTW and KoA 416? I'm quite excited to find out soon...

I was playing around with an E&L the other weekend and was mighty impressed by its handling and also the fact it’s made of metal mostly with real wood hand guards. I mean the thing had some serious weight to it that’s for sure.

Indeed it is as is all of HAO’s kits. The kit won’t improve you as a player or make you hit your target each and every time. But as all the youngsters say these days... it’s well sick.

Went for a skirmish on Saturday just gone and came back with another recoil. TM Storm, a modern twist to the AK. And I can even add a CTR stock. Whoopie. Thanks to my mate who let me have it. Now I need some more mags!!!
