https://www.pinsentmasons.com/out-law/guides/coronavirus-can-uk-employers-require-staff-vaccinated looks like employers could enforce staff to get vaccinated if they word it correctly, I am self employed so I’m my own boss and set my own rules but if I was a employee and another co-worker was refusing to be vaccinated I would expect the employer and the H&S of its works to either make a safe area for those who are and segregate those who aren’t or continue to use the furlow scheme or enforce them to work from home. It may seem selfish of me to want this but why should I be put at risk from those who choose not to help to keep safe those around them. Those who can’t have a jab due to medical reasons should be separated as a default setting.

Correct - The problem is just because you get vaccinated doesn’t mean you still won’t get Covid-19 (like Aso’s Gran & my Brother-in-law) likewise just because your vaccinated doesn’t mean your not gonna transmit to someone else who isn’t as you can still carry the virus through contact of surfaces but of course we still have to deal with the eeeejit anti-vaxxers and club/party ponces. maybe the Jonhnson & Johnson single jab vaccine comes out soon which should bring the numbers/waiting times down

I’m lucky enough to have my first jab but even if they say “hey MiK you can go pew pew next month” I’m still gonna wait till my second jab is done and dusted on the 1st of May, I am then gonna wait maybe at least another month (possibly more) for my vaccine to be in full effect and hopefully think about June being the first time I’m gonna think about going out to play. I would be interested to see if any sites would be brave enough to add into their Terms that unless you come with your vacation card you won’t be allowed in to play, in fact if any site had that rule and actually enforced it I would gladly hand over a few pounds more to play there.

@Asomodai I read that to her after she asked what I was laughing at. The only reason she had the yank one was due to her surgery being able to store the Pfizer at -70, she said that even when they got the Astra one too people where still refusing a jab.

Neither did I until I called, if I wanted the Pfizer that was done at the Royal or General (two major hospitals in Leicester) and the Astra was at the Glenfield Hospital which is like 5mins away. I wasn’t fussed which and since parking at the royal is stupidly expensive and the general was the other side of city. I went for ease of getting to the Glenfield and I chose the day’n’time to avoid the so called queues, I walked in, sat down to answer a couple of questions and then went to get my jab, I was in & out in 10mins. I haven’t had any side effects or anything that is on the list nor the arm is t sore either, Mrs ain’t happy as her’s hurt like billy’O but she had the Pfizer one

Being “offered” yes but the uptake isn’t the best, my misses who works at a doctors surgery says at least 40%+ everyday either don’t show for their appointment for the jab or when called to book one they are refusing to book one as they are “undecided” I got a text for mine on Thursday and I had a choice of which jab I wanted so I took the nearest location and got my first jab done @08:30 on Saturday and my 2nd is on the 1st May.........

@Asomodai bad news - hope ya Gran gets through it ok and is back with you being your political advisor Tis the 2nd person I’ve heard who have had the jab but still gotten Covid-19 sucks massively but they say if you’ve had the jab your less likely to get the more serious side of it.

If we all get released at once like we did last year - the beaches will be rammed, parks will be over populated and people will go back to being dicks and within 3-6 month we will be back to where we are now, the re-opening should be slow n steady and imho anyone who refuse to get the vaccine (unless it’s a medical thing) should be made to stay in lock down until they do.

im sticking to my initial thoughts of outdoor Airsoft early to mid April and indoor Airsoft/cqb late April/early may - there’s no point in rushing this anymore another month or so over another 3 month lockdown

I think end of March is a massive punt time wise on the notice of easing of lockdown that Bojo will give next week, and as I am a pessimistic-realist and I would hate to rush easing lockdown just to hit another in 3-4 months time and as much as I want to go pew-pew. I think most outdoor large grouped sports inc Airsoft will be up and running (pending on Tier rulings) will be up by mid-end April and indoor grouped sports by active by end of May at he latest. I am fully aware of the vacation rollout but we can’t just rely on the jab and it’s not the golden bullet some think it is, as you can still get covid after being jabbed as my brother-in-law has just found out, he is in hospital recovering well from a brain injury/coma/paralysis and after getting his jab last month back he called my last week and told me he has now got covid! - if he didn’t have bad luck he wouldn’t get any luck at all Saying all this tho I would now deffo be up for coming along now - I just hope I’m back working long before as funds are starting to dwindle

All jokes aside but I doubt KM would be prepared to apologise or change his ways unless YouTube demonetise’s him or people stopped supporting his products as he couldn’t demonstrate them in clips. So much has changed due to “Money, Money, Money” from KM’s clips of him just hiding in bushes taking one or two shots (usually to the body) or someone walking past him - to - click-baiting headshot high viewed vids - to - getting his products dropped by skirmshop - to - attacking site owners. 2020 was a KRAYKRAY year !!
