Funny story Combat South have previously sold a 2tone systema PTW at retail price plus paint fee. I just sat there and thought mate if you have that much disposable cash seriously just do your 3 games.....

I would argue if the juice was worth the squeeze on the upgrade the gun wouldnt be being sold........

From emailing LPE I believe they're going to do another run of their suppressor mounts for torches tho from the email I wouldn't hold your breath (hoping to make this year was the phrasing)..... Ideally I was hoping to go for the classic comp m2 and 6p setup but the complete lack of reasonably priced surefire m23 mounts is preventing that.

Thats my SD shipped from Wolf. Now to wait til Im back home in April to actually get my paws on it.

Yup, from what I understand there's been a lot of input into the Direct Action plate carriers from ex-GROM dudes amd there's certainly a higher quality of build and finish than I was expecting at the price.

In response to the above...... apparently there's even a couple of airsofters who've succesfully purchased item from Special Airsoft Supplies......

I like it, its got a kinda cyberpunk vibe to it...... Im just not convinced by Vorsk. Especially on a gas SMG where tolerances and QC are important........ That said I have both a TMP and an MP9 so Ill prpbs end up picking one up assuming they've fixed the eating return springs and disconnector iissues the KWA original had.

WAS kit is solid, derivative (and IIRC comes out of the same factory as Bulldog and some other cheap brands) however of late their prices are no longer competitive vs the level of build their gear is. LPC for example is currently 195 at uk tactical.... that gets you most of the way to a direct action spitfire (which from personal experience is a lightyear ahead of WAS in build and features and I would argue gives Crye a run for their money), most of the way to an Agilite K19 (no personal experience) or will give you change from a Ferro slickster...... For the purposes of this tho I wouldnt call it a brand to avoid.

I generally tend to carry 4-6 m4 ngrs mids on my kit with spares in my safezone for quick turnaround games. That said it's very rare I use all the rounds although I do also occassionally run the mags in 30 rd mode...... Plus the guys I play with regularly tend to do interoperability of platforms so especially in defensive games being able to spare a couple of mags is useful at times. TLDR version condom theory, rather have and not need than need and not have.

The mids disappeared fast tho. I think it was 10 mins from the restock notification to "out of stock" Fortunately I had signal at work and managed to nab 5.

Iirc throwing airsoft parts inside a Deact is reactivating....... Id rather not be the legal test case, especially if the spring is a bit "spicy" or in this case if the police lab playing with the regulator makes the fps go up..... Definitely regard as playing with Fire

To be fair to site operators thats kinda linked to the "herding cats/inability of airsofters to understand safety briefing in 5 game on in 15". Don't get we wrong I remember trying a new site locally (run by company whose name rhymes with "burst and lonely") who thought naming and giving origin stories for each of the marshalls followed by a round of applause was an integral part of the safety brief to paying customers (see also taking the players out of the safe zone into a literally sub-zero temperature area to give a 45min brief).

Is it worth pinning a reccomend not to buy list in here following the recent trend of I've bought a (for example) Raven model XXX and its new out of the box and doesnt work? In my case stuff I wouldn't touch under any circumstances without trying the exact item Im going to buy in the shop first. (Source I've been playing airsoft since 1995 I have a reasonable of experience in buying kit) Raven (any) Nuprol (rebranded WE with slightly more QC than Raven) Vorsk

In his defense if its a cheap eotech clone the reticle is probably clearer and more visible from the front.....

Don't get me wrong its an okay pissup/camping weekend with dogshit airsoft thrown in...... however for the same money there's at least 1 local festival which does the weekend camp/pissup/goodtimes with mates better and costs the same.

Portsmouth based myself, figured "fuck it a game day is better than a sunday sat round bored" turned out I was wrong. @CannonfoddertCannonfodderthis was just a normal walk on with less people and therefore supposedly better marshall to punter ratio. My NAF stories are worse. That said all the marshalls on that day were too busy stood in a group discussin their saturday night to actually get involved in running the games.

Marui perfect hits are manufactured to the kind of tolerances you'd use in bearing races for engineering, good consistancy, good accuracy. They may as well have been made for recoils. Most PTW owners that know of them swear by them too. Ive been using recoils since the first cqbrs came out over here and out of all the ammo Ive tried they are hands down the best .25s Ive experienced. No flyers, no cuboid bbs, no issues (other than the price). Generally if I lend a mag full of them to someone the first question is "where can I get some of those?". On an semi-related note anyone looking to shift some ngrs mp5 mids as I cant find anywhere with stock and need at least 4 lol.

Hey at least they chrono...... I went to a walk on day at ground zero and they didnt bother. Oddly enough myself and the guys I went there with walked off at lunchtime after "oops we've forgot the chrono, anyone got a hot gun" "HPA players you're all set to legal fps, right" and the ever classic "your first mistake was using midcaps here". That last one was after identifying a particularly obviously dressed player to a marshall having expended 2 mags at him at close range and been ignored (the rifle I was using at the time was notorious for being freakishly accurate and consistant, it was like a laser and at the kind of range that bbs could be seen bouncing off him).
