  1. Yeah, have been looking at that already, trying to find a biro refill that fits lol
  2. A Skyrc S65 charger and some deans and mini tamiya adapter leads.
  3. Thanks. I have just heard so many people mention that RC polarity is reverse to that of airsoft. As all these chargers seem to be aimed at RC users I thought there would be an issue. Overthinking it I guess. Thanks for explaining it so well 🙂
  4. How does that work? Surely the positive on the xt30 has to be soldered to the deans plug to make sure it connects to the positive on the battery? I cannot find any ready made connectors which state they are soldered correctly for airsoft batteries.
  5. Nice. Where did you get the xt60 to Dean's connectors? Been looking at getting a SkyRc S65 but woukd need some to make sure the polarity was correct for the airsoft batteries.
  6. I think it's always been like that. Only parcel force method accepted is 48 hour express at a post office counter, can send them royal mail 1st class. I think the problem you may have, is that it doesn't offer enough cover in the event of loss etc so rarely gets used. As a consequence, I doubt Royal Mail staff know enough about IFs, RIFs, airsoft etc, and stuff is likely to be seized/destroyed because of that lack of knowledge. I personally wouldn't chance it on purpose, but technically its allowed - according to that
  7. Really? It's the royal mail prohibited items leaflet Found on this page, and a tick means it's OK to send in the mail https://personal.help.royalmail.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/96/~/prohibited-and-restricted-items---advice-for-personal-customers The Parcelforce one is here: https://www.parcelforce.com/help-and-advice/sending/prohibitions-and-restrictions
  8. My reading of there prohibited items list is that you should be ok
  9. Never considered that one. Just roll pin out and then the button followed by spring?
  10. Pull the charging handle and let it go, does it do the ringing noise? If so, try putting grease on the spring for the charging handle. It was this on my G&G guns that made the ringing noise.
  11. So what are the upgrades in this please?
  12. Ah cool. I have looked at the s65 before and it does sort of state it doesn't charge 1 cell lipos as it doesn't list them under the lipos it states it does charge. So good to know it will charge them
  13. They can't charge single cell lipos, but I havent seen an airsoft gun thst runs on anything less than a 7.4 (2 cell) lipo
  14. So, after realising that my AR pattern RIFs were all slowly becoming the same gun, I have removed the quadrail handguard, and put back in the shorter barrel to get its bark back and now my G&G ARP556 is back to how it should be. I did give it a new paint job though. As it's a mad little thing I thought a slightly different paint job was in order.
  15. Crazy thing is, it's split gearbox, so really easy to check if it's the piston. The fact he hasn't (or has and that's not what it is) bothered makes me think it's something more. Either way, massively overpriced as it doesn't work.
  16. Its the Frenzy 1x20x28 6moa model https://www.opticswarehouse.co.uk/vector-frenzy-1x20x28-rd-vt-red-dot-sight
  17. Agree with @rocketdogbert, one of the main plusses for me of a decent sight is lack of parallax error. Have seen reviews stating the TM sight has high error. So I went with a real steel sight
  18. Really did, shame they don't do spare frames
  19. I know it's an oldish thread, but that green FNX is lush
  20. Not made as such, just playing with paint job ideas on a spare handguard
  21. One hundred percent. Once I have finished my Abbey, I am just going to use Nuprol 1.0 and put the nice standard base plates back on
  22. I bought a pair of these. Allow me to use the Abbey cans without an extension. Dont look as nice though https://projectairsoft.co.uk/products/2-airsoft-fnx-45-magazine-base-plates
  23. Echo most of the advice in here. On all of my guns, bar my sniper rifle, all I have done is changed barrel to a ZCI, and fitted a decent hop rubber (prommy purple, G&G green, or the light blue G&G in the rotary hops) and used some heavier bbs. Rarely out ranged at my local site, and requires very little time/difficulty to do
  24. So although the idea of a snow camo RIF was appealing, the realisation that I will probably never use it due to lack of game days when there is snow, or that "fook that its freezing" feeling, I repainted my CM16 Raider 2.0 Pretty generic camo, netting style but hey ho Also thought I woukd take a pic of the Predator as it's how I want it now, white light, lasers, QD suppressor, comfortable height optic, sling setup, plenty battery space
