  1. So did some painting, which may be too subtle to really work, but looks different to all black
  2. How do you stop the pouches moving around like that?
  3. I totally get that. Got this for less than a tenner. If the basic idea feels right, I have my eyes on an FRV belt.
  4. So I am going to try a belt setup running a couple of hi caps. Our games tend to last 45minutes to an hour, and so have opportunity to reload between. Figured I would go light with a belt and couple of hicaps, pistol and spare bbs. If it works for me, will get a better belt set (inner and outer)
  5. So after 5 or 6 skirmishes, i have decided to strip the gun back and go for a lighter loadout (going to try a belt rig) and gun. So sort of inspired by the LVOA, this is my Predator as it is now.
  6. A cheap second hand molle belt A couple of patches and some paracord Now looking at the bits to do a flat hop
  7. So the game on Saturday had snow, hail, rain and sleet set to repeat from 10am to 3pm and the the last hour we finally got some respite. The loadout became a wear whatever is comfy etc, so by the end of the day I was running around dressed like this lol.
  8. Having tried it in the house this evening, it feels immediately more comfortable. It feels looser but still holds the Kneepads as stable. Will definitely try it this weekend.
  9. Molle utility pouch Osprey velcro mag pouch for speedloader 2 more elasticated Osprey mag pouches 2 x hexmags for the Predator A couple of patches Some Geoffs BBs Mechanicx gloves A couple of small rail risers.
  10. How do you get on with the Blackhawk Kneepads? After a mornings play it always feels like the straps have worn through to the bone on the back of my legs. I have resorted to wearing my mtb Kneepads under the trousers as a lightweight comfy option
  11. Was rocking some flecktarn last weekend, think I prefer it to the mtp
  12. A new dump pouch as my cheap eBay job shit the bed on it's first skirmish (luckily long enough for me to realise I want a dump pouch). Some Proball Bbs from SocomTactical for next weekend
  13. The Predator at last weekend's skirmish
  14. L85/86 for me. But yeah, definitely some difference, and longer harder days than a typical skirmish.
  15. I totally agree with you. Never had an issue with wearing webbing and load carrying equipment in real life. There is a lot to be said for carrying stuff lower down and letting your pelvis take the weihht rather than your shoulders and back. My comment about airsofters (mostly YouTube ones) finding airsoft guns heavy just highlights the fact we are using toy guns, as IMO they are always lighter than the real thing.
  16. Updated pics of my Predator. Wanting some better fitting rail covers but still looking for some green ones. Now with suppressor and 552 replica
  17. When you say heavy, how heavy are we talking out of interest? This isn't directed at you, but it amazes me watching reviews of airsoft guns when they complain about the weight of them. They are probably all lighter than the real firearm, and that's before you add a mag of real rounds into the equation.
  18. I was wondering if there was a thread and rather than starting a new one, I thought I would add some of mine. I work in 1:72 scale brushpainting mostly. Haven't completed one for a while admittedly, have a SR71 Blackbird on the go just now. Anyway some of mine
  19. A ZCI barrel Another midcap mag for the predator Some olive green BDU trousers
  20. Here is our little fella, say hello to Storm
  21. I like it except for the mahoosive Magwell grip.
