I've got a massive list of stuff I still need lol. If I get an MTP or Multicam dump pouch and my Oakley hard knuckle gloves ever arrive then I'll be happy with it though. But I still need a pistol holster and pistol mag pouches, the correct knee pads, the correct boots, the correct helmet, a CamelBak and the correct rig lol. Basically the only parts of it that aren't going to change are the UBACS and trousers. I still need 6 more Emags as well, 'cos I'm still running with 6 STANAGs and 6 Emags. Around the end of October/November when I get paid I'm planning on getting the Ares spring AWSM .338, as well as finishing the L119 project, so I'll probably have a whole new loadout in the works before I've even finished this one lol. In short, it's not done yet lol.

Here's some photos of me from yesterday's game at Skirmish. It's surprising how much better my loadout looks compared to last time when all I've done is add an MTP UBACS and a headset.

Imagine getting 10 of you, in tanks! That would be fucking epic shit right there. As for sniping, have you seen the 20x scope? If you go on the loadout screen in Battlelog, select the L96 in the sniper kit section and scroll through the optics, one of them is a 20x scope. But it doesn't show up on the unlock tree or anything... Might be one of those Dice only things, which sucks penis, 'cos I've been crying out for a decent scope since the game came out, even on Firestorm and Wake Island you could make use of a 20x zoom, let along these effing enormous maps!

I think it's a proper joke that the attackers in Rush get the AC-130. I always hated rush anyway, but spawning to get blown up in a matter of seconds by an airborn tank really just takes the cake. If the AC-130 were on the defender's team I think it would be quite balanced. I think Tank Superiority is the only mode really worth it as a result of the size of the maps. On conquest there aren't enough vehicles for everyone and it takes so long to get anywhere on foot that it's just not worth moving. Especially since on console there's only 24 players per map. The only way to find people to kill is to wait until you see a base getting capped and then move there like lightening to take them out, otherwise people are too few and far between to spot them unless you're using thermal optics in a vehicle. Sniping people from 800+m on Bandar Desert is spectacularly awesome though. I think that the artillery pieces are useless on console as well, mainly because I'm convinced giving it an aiming cursor was the most poinless thing ever, because it simply doesn't work, the only way to know when your shots are landing is to look on the map. Then on top of that, not enough people are in the same place at the same time for you to need to use them and without being able to increase the size of the minimap, it's impossible to tell where your shots are landing without bringing up the start menu and obviously if you're in the menu you can't adjust your aim, or move, or get out, or do anything, until you come back out of it again and by that time your target will have moved to avoid your last volley of shots. So in short, it's lame - with the exception of the tank only mode.

It's that time of the year when all the students are back in town, so all the local business are offering a ton of free shit. One of these businesses is Domino's Pizza, who are offering a "Free personal pizza to students" deal. So, all I need to do is walk down the line of people handing out free shit a few times and VOILA! Free pizza every day for the next two weeks. I couldn't've possibly chosen a better week to have no money.

You've got to be a drug lord or something lol. I just ordered a Contour Roam HD, with a 32Gb Micro SD card (Class 10) and a helmet mount. Fingers crossed it arrives before the weekend, if it does I'll be able to take it skirmishing on Saturday

I, or rather, my family, have just bought a cat. I'm more of a dog person... In fact I really don't like cats, but this little bugger grew on me in less than our visiting time: Additionally, I'm thinking of getting the GoPro HD Hero2 soon, anyone have any experience with action cameras that can offer any input? If you were to buy your first camera ever, but with your current camera experiences, which one would go for, for filming airsoft videos?

Yeah I heard that about the flares, I've not personally noticed since I always use stealth, thermal optics and the guided missiles when I'm gunning, 'cos without thermals on hardcore it's impossible to see anyone on the ground lol. AK goes live tomorrow for PC and Xbox Premium users... Too bad I'm working solidly for the next two weeks, it's going to be AAGGGGEEESS before I get a decent chance to play it D=

There are none, Ian, I got it second hand, it just came in a box, cushioned with shredded paper lol. The decocker does work. I thought it didn't work because I was at work when it arrived and my brother rang to say it wouldn't move... However, I just got in and had a look at it and realised (for the billionth time) that he's a retard. All it was, the decocker is basically a folder piece of metal and the fold had been squashed in the post. It had essentially clamped itself to the grip panel it bends around, so it wouldn't move. Bent it back a bit = perfectly functional. I have to say that I actually really love it, I thought I'd hate it for the plastic and I still don't think it's as nice as a metal one, but it has a feelingly of trustworthiness about it lol, I don't have gas to fire it much, but I got it with 4 mags total, all fully gassed and it got off 18 shots from each with enough left in them to keep the seals in check for storage. There is no kick really, but it makes a good noise and the performance is very nice from the limited use it's had so far. It's rather weathered as well, ESPECIALLY the magazines, so it's good to know it still works this well when it looks this old, the magazines especially. I just need more gas and I'm dying to skirmish it now. Does anyone know which holster the British Army use and where I can get some MTP pistol pouches?

Sig came today, but the decocker won't budge, is it not a functional part on the TM? 'Cos if not, that sucks...

My new TM Sig came today, I've not had it yet though 'cos I'm at work but my brother's been telling me about it. Do the TM Sigs not have a functional decocker? 'Cos apparently it won't budge, which has slightly bummed me out =[

Multiplayer Update 4 is now live. So far the only changes I've noticed have caused me great joy: The L85 and L86 now have the correct fire modes lol. No bullshit burst mode or lack of semi-auto =D The L86 is now quite an effective DMR and the L85 no longer gets me killed because I forget I have to tap up on the D-pad twice to get back to auto from semi. Anyone on the PS3 got Armoured Kill yet? It's available to PS3 Premium users as of today. I'd like to hear some feedback on it.

What was read can never be unread... Anyway... My UKAPU membership arrived today, so that's another patch to add to my kit, somewhere, somehow. Also means I can chase them up about becoming their student rep. Additionally, my new TM Sig ought to be with me tomorrow, provided there's someone at home to accept the delivery AND I have money, which means I need to start looking for an MTP UBACS, some pistol pouches and a holster.

I can't understand everyone moaning about the damage in hardcore, I think of it as it being easier for me to die, so there's more challenge. You have to think things through more. Plus, on BFBC2, snipers were 1 hit kill, at any range, regardless of where they hit you. On hardcore anyway. No one moaned about it then. I kind of hate how there are forums set up for people to leave feedback because all that happens, is people moan about stuff until it gets changed and then they just find different things to moan about... It leads to a never ending need for changes and the game never reaches perfection. Everyone ought to just play it and learn how to deal with all the pros and cons. Plus, snipers are still two hits on hardcore, it's just the same as on normal mode apart from there's no bloody stupid, game destroying 3D spotting. Hardly anyone runs snipers in my experience. Maybe it's different on PC.

Blackhawks are cooler than Hueys as well. The arabic writing thing is quite hilarious. Can't believe there hasn't been any internet rage hyping about that. As for a server dedicated to boosting... I just don't see why people do it. If you want something, you can now buy all the class weapons and gadgets in a pack, meaning it takes all of 30 seconds to get everything. To me the fun of the game comes from working towards your chosen unlocks, reaching 300 kills for the final accessory or whatever. If you're going to boost to get everything, what's the point? Since I play Hardcore I usually team kill people I see boosting, or if they're doing the 'shoot and repair an EoD bot' routine, I'll just shoot the EoD bot lol. Last night I was playing on Tehran Highway as the Russian team on CQ, 4 or 5 of the American team were standing at the edge of their base and sniping down on everyone and I went 27 for 0 on just those 4 or 5 people because they kept going back to the same spot... I would've beaten my highest killstreak if it weren't for the fact that I got booted for 'Spawn killing' because it was 'Against the server host's rules'... So I pointed out to them that if I hadn't been killing them in their spawn, they'd have never moved and just kept killing everyone in my team, they might as well have had god mode enabled if they weren't allowed to be killed whilst they were there. Funnily enough, 'No shooting in or out of bases' was also a server host rule... Funny how double standards work, eh? People who abuse admin powers ought to be shot at dawn for ruining the game for everyone. I bloody hate the lack of hardcore servers on the Xbox, I have to join rented ones with douche bags hosting them, it sucks. Last night the server browser found 5 hardcore servers... In the world... Only 2 of which contained any people. Yet, my server history has about 4 or 5 fully populated servers in it... So why didn't they come up? I think the server controls are all stupidly broken. Sigh. I hope Armoured Kill is worth the hype. I'm interested to know what the new vehicle unlocks are.

Holy bajesus. Worth the investment of time? I still need to take my test, but as a student, living at home with no fixed income, I just have no motivation to take it when I know I won't be able to afford a car until I'm about 800 years old... Might never bother to pass tbh, fuel's just going to get more and more expensive and they say it'll run out just shy of my life time, so I might as well just get used to walking everywhere. Or, more used to, I ought to say. Bikes will be the order of the day once I get money enough to buy one, I think.

The stupidest thing about the armies that are in the game, is the fact that DICE are from effing Sweden! Not the US, so why is it that the US always have all their vehicles and weapons added in perfect detail, even though the game is from Europe?! Most probably. I got a G&P M4 shorty the other week/month, put an M100 in it and it's STILL shooting at about 375fps... The thing is completely stock and the barrel's only something like 250mm... What witchcraft is this?
