I owned and upgraded the TM variant A chum did the same to the ASG version so as we could compare back to back The TM does feel nicer in the hand and the trigger does feel much smoother as @Impulse mentioned above. My TM did shoot marginally further (like 5m) but for some reason with better accuracy. The TM mags are a pain in the ass to fix when they start to leak, which ultimately was the reason I got rid of mine I had 4 mags, of which I could only keep 2 running properly. But the other reason I got the TM was for the Lam and it’s nice little case Plus the fact that when I was inevitably going to sell it on, I knew it would hold its value better and return me a higher % of my outlay costs than the ASG version would Every penny is a prisoner to a tight Scotsman ?

Samoon seem to be a bit slower these days. I placed an order on the 6th of this month, received an update 3 days later Then a dispatch notification about 5 days after that And only just received a notification from Royal Mail today that they are expecting it soon. Comms with Samoon are also a bit slower - 1 or 2 days to get a reply, but they reply! Delay probably down to the V3 AK coming out and they will be fielding answers by email and checking alignments of trunions every waking minute. Not much of a consolation when you are an impatient child as I am ?

I got an armourers wrench off Amazon a couple of years ago for like £15 It has a few different fittings fits my GHK perfectly. I think it’s the same fitting (threads will be different to vfc) but should do you to work on your pew. good thing with Amazon is, returns are free if it’s not ?

I run an RA Tech bolt carrier in my ghk, purely for the aesthetics than anything else (it’s blingy good SAI goodness). I can’t fault it’s quality of manufacture or tolerances

Sounds like the very same symptoms my ghk experienced when I bought is used off a lad. I discovered small smashed fragments of beebs, right at the front of the bolt/nozzle where it’s supposed to lock into battery It was just enough to mis align everything! Like these were MASHED in, didn’t look out of place there at all!! I dug the remnants out with a sewing needle and it’s never had an issue since ?

Yeah, tbh honest, the prices seems to be going up every few months We are doing some construction work and got two for storage while things are commencing. Single use are definitely the way to go, both of ours are minty inside and out (apart from a few scratches at the tie down points) but makes a great man cave, and as you say…… SECURE ?

I made a box out of rubber floor mats and used curtain cord suspended to capture and slow the beebs. actually works quite well

Yeah, After I posted, I watched a couple of reviews on it. Seems to be the exact same as the uv-5r just in a Harris “style” outer but with a much larger capacity battery. I suppose the good thing is that it is also compatible with all of my current comms accessories like ptt, antenna , headset etc

I’m currently running a Baofeng uv-5r, and it’s never let me down plus it’s universally used throughout the Airsoft universe. BUT, Having just spotted these, for maybe £50-£60 is it any good? I believe it’s 10w as opposed to the 5w 5r I don’t think I need more wattage, I’m just tempted with the mil-spec appearance (tart that I am) Anyone running one?
