If you find someone with experience, let me know. Im interested also! From what i've seen/heard from online sources its a little... 'sketchy' so im a little apprehensive about doing it without some proper guidance.

If your CowCow piston head is the same as mine, it should come with multiple orings, of various thicknesses, that can be swapped out but if its getting stuck to the point that the slide wont cycle and it takes force to remove... my only words are 'holy shit!' I got the CowCow LWBBU. It comes complete with the piston head and I honestly cant fault it. I switched the oring on it to its thickest one and it made a ridiculously good seal but would sometimes have feeding issues so I backed it off to the medium of the 3 orings and it works beautifully. But yeah, this trouble comes, as I have found, with upgrades like this. I had no end of trouble with the retention of my nozzle spring. Took ages to diagnose and rectify but its all good now. Fault finding and fixing is all part of the fun for me.

Have you used it? What's it like? I'm looking for something bulletproof, set it and forget it with a nice smooth action and good coatings.

Has anyone replaced the original buffer tube? Looking for some recommendations for the best metal buffer tube, multi positional, that will accept a real magpul MOE/CTR stock. Lucky you got it at all with UPS. No word of a lie, every single time I've had something come by UPS its been a complete disaster. Absolute joke of a company imho. I just placed an order from a different website and found its coming by UPS... dreading this...

Im a music guy, its a vital part of my daily life 🙂 My mother is deaf in both ears, requires 2 of the most powerful hearing aids known to man kind cranked to full power. She cant hear music the way I do and its got to be one of the worst things I can possibly imagine. This lockdown has cancelled/postponed so many of my planned gigs this year... im gutted... This is another one of my favourites. The drum drop at 2:40ish sends shivers down my spine each and every time. And they only went and used it in one of the coolest episodes of Sons of Anarchy...

Unlikely but you COULD give your site a call or a message on facebook or something and ask them to renew your membership for you since technically your membership is with the site not UKARA. The site membership just earns you the UKARA number. If the site owners are nice, i'm sure they will understand the current situation and just renew your membership.

I've finally decided to pull the proverbial trigger and get me one of these bad boys, CQBR version. Already ordering parts! Just ordered myself a licensed EMG/SAI QD Rail with JailBrake, pictured below. Will be picking up a Magpul MOE stock too. Just need to find myself a nice skeletonised pistol grip and foregrip and i'll be all set I think... not including optic of course. Kinda excited!

@Wo1f Quick question, not sure if you covered reasonings but I can't see it... But what is the benefit of leaving a stub on the magazine fill tube instead of removing it entirely? I'm on the cusp of buying a CQBR block 1.
