  1. Well I've had an email with a shipping number so should have it tomorrow fingers crossed ........note to self take battery and BBs to work tomorrow ! I've had to chase them all the way though, so wouldn't use them again.
  2. It certainly wont go on for months, they've got till Tuesday to confirm that they have it and it's being shipped. After that I'll ask for a refund and go via paypal if needs be. Nothing I can't live without, just fancying a 249 and the S&T one suits, standard V2 so easy to work on and polymer is fine for keeping the weight down, but not an issue if I don't get one.
  3. Ordered an S&T M249 from them Tuesday as showing in stock, no communication from them after the 'order received' email. Rang them yesterday to confirm the order is all ok, was told yes being processed will be with me Monday or Tuesday. Messaged them again today via Facebook to ask for confirmation of dispatch and a tracking number, got a reply back to say they have had to order one in as they thought they had one but didn't 'should' be with them Monday / Tuesday and with me mid week. Replied to say that that was a problem as no one would be home daytime after Tuesday to receive it. an hour later I rang them as no reply, spoke to two members of staff and at the moment they are using 24 hr delivery and it's going to my place of work, I've said I expect a phone call to confirm dispatch. We will see, If I don't hear from them Monday I'll phone them Tuesday and if it isn't there I'll just take a refund . I work in retail and I know the issues with stock levels etc, however I work with a customer base who expect excellent service and that certainly includes proper communication.
  4. Christmas pews ? Sten and CO2 Sig P 226. Who else got new toys for Christmas ?
  5. Realised I had only posted my L119 A1 in 'short' form. I usually run it in long 16" guise , so here it is along side my current A2 build, also in 'long' form. The A1 carries C8 trades , but I recon there must be the odd one in British hands that ended up with a replacement receiver so I am happy enough with that. The A2 has full Colt Canada L119 A2 trades along with the extra cuts on the top rail.
  6. Valken polymer M4 type thing, going to be a test bed for some of the parts for my L119 A2 build. Then it'll get used as a back up that I can bung in the car for wet days and for the afternoons when I want something lighter to lug around ! Actually feels remarkably solid, Chrono's at 330 on .2's with some hop on, so sight legal out of the box and comes with ambi controls
  7. Valken ASL , polymer M4 based jobbie. actually it's officially for my birthday next week. Cheep polymer AEG which will go out in the rain and generally be abused........it also has ambi fire selectors which 'may' find their way onto ma L119 A2 build !
  8. Start of my L119 A2 build. Carbine length rather than the 10" short version just 'cos I think it looks cooler ? Long way to go with it, receiver sent off today for engraving and machining . Like my A1 , no base gun it's a complete ground up build.
  9. Angry gun front and a blank receiver for an L119 A2 build to go with my A1
  10. WE Sig 226 E2 Arrived today to compliment my L119, got a game on Sunday so will give it a run out ?
  11. Been a shitty day so indulged in retail therapy and ordered a WE 226 to go with my L119
  12. JG MP5, a couple of weeks ago. My second as iv'e got the SD version as well, the new one is the standard version with the fixed stock. Cost me all of £72 and as usual is a ridiculously good gun for stupid money. Took it out yesterday and ran it all afternoon and never once felt under gunned . Decent range and accuracy on .25's and the battery space in the stock takes the 4400 mah battery that I use in my XR5. Adjustable spring tension too, got it set at 305 fps on the .25's and it will go further. Fantastic little guns right out of the box, reliable and capable and cheep enough not to worry about.
  13. If the battery in the Tissot has gone, get it removed . I'm a jeweller and I see so many batteries that have been left and have leaked causing all sorts of damage to the movement.
  14. Yet more parts for my L119 build ! this was supposed to be a project over a few months you understand ? Still it's been a stressful couple of weeks and tinkering with the build in the garage has been good therapy........that's my excuse and I am sticking to it !
  15. Receiver set with trades for an L119 build. One of those things I fancy doing but was always a bit put off by the faff of getting the engraving done. Let the building commence !
  16. Few bits of Maple leaf goodness for my MEU.
  17. The gunfire parcel arrived today, that's inside a week with no problems at all.
  18. A group of us placed an order with Gunfire at the weekend, 3 guns, all showing as limited stock. So now we wait and see. Good prices so if they arrive great, but none of us are holding our breath !
  19. WE open bolt L85, had been converted for use as a laser training weapon .Bought it as a project expecting it to be an aeg that had been gutted, got a nice surprise when I found out how much was still in there. Pretty much sorted now ? Started like this , Ended up like this
  20. That's handy to know, thanks. Ive been looking at the 'double' mags which look quite cool
  21. A mate and I wanted a project gun to work on, so I bought an 'unknown' L85 from the airsoft jumble at our site on sunday. It had been stripped out and converted to use as a laser training weapon for cadets. There are no internals I was told, that's ok I thought , excuse to buy and tech a gearbox and suitable hop unit etc. So haggled and got it for £30 including the dummy mag, which is machined from a solid aluminium billet ! Any way got it home and opened it up to take a look, and its full of wiring for the laser conversion , but wait a minute that's a whacking great bolt, and there is an inner barrel and that looks like most of a trigger box, Its only a bloomin WE GBB version, the cost of the few internals that are actually missing is going to be less than if it was an AEG, the mags on the other hand are a bit pricey . All the parts are ordered , soooo looking foreword to getting it on the range !
  22. Got one of these for my 50th. Wanted a TAG F1 for more years than I care to think about.
  23. https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/jing-gong-0449a-au-g2-aug-bullpup-aeg?pv=2672 one of these , despite not intending to buy any more guns for a while, but when your wife says 'go on treat yourself' who am I to argue !
  24. Great review ! just ordered one, Taiwangun have got them on special and they are so cheep it would be daft not to . Don't plan to ever skirmish it , but serious fun for the collection.
  25. And I never will ! ?
