The crazy jets are not single notch , IIRC they actually have 3

I use a cricket box . It'd be an unlucky shot that hit the nadgers , but it does happen now and then .
-
As above , it's a sound file for me too . Certainly sounds like it's safety related . Also check that there isn't debris in the trigger pack , shattered BB that sort of thing .

ups are a fucking nightmare in my experience.

The conversion was as easy as swapping the inlet valve for the correct hpa adapter. Yes green gas does have silicone oil in it to help keep O rings lubricated . So far I've not had any issues with the seals in the drum mag though . The mag capacity thing does take some getting used to . When I run my L119's I carry 5 stanag mags and a speed loader , I can get 2 plus BB loads from a gas fill on those , so that gives me something in the 300 round total for an hour game which I find enough for my play style . It's all working in close to the other team , picking your shots and double taps ! The MP5 mags would need a refill of gas too , so when I use those I carry the speed loader and a can of gas . I have 4 stick mags . Just re fill during quiet moments or when re spawning . Same when I use my MP7 . The Apache certainly is loads of fun , I like the 3 round burst on it . I guess it depends on how much you enjoy the mag changes , if you aren't fussed then the drum might be the way to go , I'd still carry spare gas for it and give it a quick top off now and then . If the mag changes are a big part of the fun I'd stick to the stick mags . However if you want to run it in the winter the drum with an hpa adapter will work better given the size of the gas capacity in the stick mags.

Hi Baser, it's ok . I've actually hpa taped it so I can run the the MP5 on a tank in the colder months and like that it works well . It's fine filled with green gas too , but in honesty I prefer using the stick mags since i see limited shots and mag changes as part of the imersive GBB play style . That said if a game demands a spray and pray style then the drum is better .

Which retailers in the UK accept Just-Cos Cosplayer Insurance?

Is this not the same bloke who started this thread in the first place and got pissy with people ? -
Went tactical black for the evening pistol and shot gun games on Friday . Just a belt with 2 holsters and mag pouches .
-
Yep , thats the one , Survival in Torrington . But no , never lived in any part of London. Somerset , Zambia , Brunei, Scotland and Devon , but never London .
-
It's a woodland site I play at . About half the evening was on parts of the main site including cqb around the 'village' and half on their laser tag area which has some serious undergrowth.

Played an evening pistols and shotguns game last night . 12 players , lots of short 20 minute games . All great fun , i always enjoy pistols games. Took my WE P226 , G18 and my self built ( out of a mix of WE and Raven parts ) bling G18 . Did take a shottie but didn't use it , pistols were too much fun !

Played at my usual site yesterday , first time i've played for a couple of months with one thing and another . Group of our usual players were off at Dorchester for the day , but a team had traveled up from Plymouth so there were aprox 35 players including rentals. Absolute blast of a day , everyone played well and fair . Close games , hard faught by both teams . Lad on the other team managed to creap up on a bunch of us and took 4 or 5 of us out in one banzai run ! I played all GBB , the L85 , L119 A2 and M249 all got a run . Some great kills with them , the 119 A2 in particular was getting some very sneaky shots in . Ran the 249 with an hpa tank but using the 130 round mags . That continues to be a blast to use .
-
Ran the 249 today . Used the hpa line but stick mags . I'm not a massive fan of hpa , but it is a convienient way of running the 249 . Got lots of solid kills with it . It's just so much fun to use and constantly impresses , and the sound is awesome. Going to drop the power a bit though , despite being comfortably inside site limit a couple of the guys I hit had some proper welts . I've ordered the railed hand guard for it too to change the look a bit.

It's always worth asking them if they will do a deal for 3 , and that's best done face to face . I manage a Jewllwers and will always listen if someone asks about some discount , but if they start taking the piss and being pushy I start increasing the price . Ask them , be polite about it and see what they say.

I've got one . Fitted a Maple leaf barrel , rubber I key and hop wheel to it , as I do on all my pistols , and it's great . My main pistol infact . It's never let me down , has great range and easily lifts .30 BBs . TBF even stock it was acceptable , especially for CQB , for woodland pistol games it did need the M/L bits.

The valves will probably fit, WE fill valves are very generic , I've used them in loads of other brands .
-
Daft question , but are you filling them correctly ? mag upside down . All of my WE stanags will happily do 2 loads of BBs with one gas fill, actually it's more like 2.5 loads but I rarely need to use that many. Mine are used in my L119's but also in my L85 which is the same spec as yours , RAtech NPAS and washers on the recoil rods. How free is your bolt ? if it's dragging that will use more gas , have you checked the O ring on the back of the nozzle ? again if it's shot it'll be using more gas . Do you knpw anyone else with a WE that takes stanags so you can compare perfomance in another gun ?
-
I'd have a look at the hop rubber too, and probably replace it , also check the O ring on the back of the piston.
-
I've a couple of JG MP5's including an SD . Bloody awesome for the money . Mine get used in a woodland site and have plenty of range , never let me down , never broken and soooo much lighter than all my GBBRs !

Easy to read on the go and cheap enough to not care if it comes a cropper.

I've been running mine on hpa recently , but still with the stick mags. It's a very easy and quick swap , so I can still use the green gas box mag when I dont want the line.
-
Awesome news on both counts ! You are going to love it , they are sooooo much fun . Be interesting to see how long a couple of 45g capsules last in a game.
-
It's fucking ups , they have 2 speeds , glacial and stop !
