  1. Looks like pasrt 2 has arrived
  2. Thanks. I'm tempted to do the same on my WE/Umarex one.
  3. Very nice ! GBB ? and if so, how tricky was it to fit the genuine lower ?
  4. Not really, although I seldom run it with the ACOG and when I do I use the doctor red dot on the wing mount. I usually run it with a 552 style red dot.
  5. They wake a good base for an L119 , mine top, a mate's during his build below.
  6. The TM version , although it probably doesnt matter tbh. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/375751916100?_skw=airsoft+l96&itmmeta=01JE3PED4W1XAVTJRZJPF83NHZ&hash=item577c8f3a44:g:R24AAOSwnv9nIhnq&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA0HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKl3iqrEk1gAnhQqbbM3hn8us1OvEsPUNrCxyDc2%2FAkA8TH%2FVSszUX1u5DwxKAx4Z22mBClwSYdx81%2B28j41xkl8IzIO2LvFlLT7Q6DNH3Qvy5LcjzbVU7BSfmundc9k2o8AW71aLUZeUhnIJrIli089NjwYz2HD1ONG%2BBAJuAv89u%2B6I3fixtDq5bOenc32j2Y2IE%2FACogie0QqDBRZgb4v%2BEcoQ1OAN7b7y0p1IoE1H4ywhtPkaOG73i5MftGFCvk%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR8TSufbwZA I used this one.
  7. Yep , that's the Torrington one . The metal loading fin is a handy mod. Hopefully it's at battle rifle power level, they are so much fun to run that way.
  8. Depends where in the world you are based. I tend to use Milspec solutions for those parts. My WE G18 is set for .30 bbs because that's what I use across all my GBBs. It will lift much heavier though if you wanted to. I seem to recal I tried it on .36's and it lifted those fine. And yes, I'd stick with a 50 degree rubber in the UK http://www.milspecsolutions.co.uk/specialist-suppliers/maple-leaf-141
  9. Mine was running at battle rifle power levels out of the box, so I'd be surprised if you get stuck with a MED . Mine is the S&T , other brands may be hotter. Assuming yours is the S&T also , then mine is set for .30 BBs and lifts them easily on the stock hop . I would highly recomend changing the spring (again if it's the S&T) as the one they come with is horrible and kinks up inside the bolt. If Survival airsoft is the one at Torrington it's my local site and very good. Decent bunch of folk there, very friendly and although people play hard, no one takes it too seriously . Used my Lee Enfield there 2 weeks ago and had a blast running it as a battle rifle.
  10. Standard hop unit is fine, but fitting a Maple leaf rubber , I key and a Crazy jet barrel will improve perfomance and alow it to hop much heavier BBs
  11. I hope they have improved QC a bit. A mate had a box new Lee Enfield at our last game day and the bolt handle was so loose that the bolt eventually stopped moving. I took it home to sort it for him and also replaced the spring (the worst one I've seen) with the L96 M130 that we all seem to use. Bolt pull is now nice and smooth. That said, I still love mie, it continues to perform very well and is lots of fun to use as a battle rifle.
  12. Just being ouside in the coutry does you a power of good .Lets you decompress and re centre yourself.
  13. Great results, well done you ! Yep, I for one find that after a week of dealing with the public going out on a Sunday and shooting people is extremely therapeutic !

Obviously the 'normal' conecter will work fine, but mine also failed so made this up. Just a case of seeing how long 2 x 25g capsules last now. Hopefully they will last a game, but time will tell
  15. Am I the only one who heard that in Sean Bean's voice ?
  16. I hope you aren't making an assumption about that 😉

Had a try of the adapters. Using a couple of 16g CO2 capsules at the moment . Everything fits easily in the box mag and the 249 cycles happily. It will also fit in the 200 round R/S fabric mag. For now I've used a section of pipe from the hpa kit I got for it when the kit first came out ( was interested in different ideas for connecting the box mag) and the oush fit end from the same kit to replace the split original feed and connected that to the CO2 block with an hpa line . I'l take a picture tomorrow. But it allows quick and easy connection .

16 and 25g both fit the adapter threads. Not sure if I'll game it tomorrw as I've got some guns to take with me for people. But if not I'll do some testing in the week.
  19. The Nobitch fanbois will be getting all hot and bothered 🤣

Adapters arrived today .I've only had a quick look, but 33g dont fit. And the 'spike' looks to be machined in so not easy to rethread, although possibly with a lathe. I'll take one to work with me tomorrow and pop into a bike shop, see what sizes they have that will fit. I 'think' 25 g should in which case I'll grab a few and see how they last in a game.
  21. Thanks for that. I'll digest it and order some goodies. Bolt was from memory black so V2 I have a couple of Lancer mags on the way to top me up to start with. Shame that M/L rubbers don't work as they are my usual goto for my GBBRs. Flamingo it is !
  22. Awesome, nice result . And handy to know if mine does the same !
  23. DE Noveske N4 in FDE , 'cos the wife insisted I have a new gun for Chrismas 😁 It arrived today, but after a quick check over it was whisked away and wrapped , so got to wait now ! Still , that gives me time to collect a few bits for it , M/L barrel etc
  24. How does it compare size wise with the spring in a normal high cap mag ? it'll basically be the same winding system.

Mine are showing as in transit, so with a bit of luck , may get them in a week or so. If the 33g threads are to large I'm thinking to try a couple of 25g ones. Those are the same thread as 12g as far as I can see and 2 x 25g should last a game . As I think you suggested, it might be possible to drill and tap the adapters for larger capsules. As long as it'll all fit in the box mag I'll be happy.
