  1. I'm currently dealing with Samoon in relation to a fault with my order. I have ordered a muzzle brake, foregrip, gooseneck and extended charging handle. There are definite issues with 2 of the 4 items and I've highlighted a potential third issue but I've requested further information to determine if it's an actual fault or not. With the exception of the grub screws on the charging handle clarification was sought on product spec's for each product prior to ordering to try ensure that they would be fit for purpose. The locating bolt on the gooseneck is too large and as such doesn't fit despite being advertised as for picatinny rails. The 24mm thread on the muzzle brake is damaged/poor so it won't fit and when attempting to use the supplied adaptor for fitment it will not accept the locking pin to secure it as the grooves/indentations are about 2/3rds of the size they should be in order to fit. The grub screws for the charging handle are identical in length when one should be slightly longer than the other, at least in the real product (this is the one I've requested clarification on). I've offered to supply them with photo's supporting my fault claims and I've been nothing but polite with them but so far the replies received boil down to "we've never had a fault before so the fault lies with you" and similar responses, escalating to patronising/insulting. So far I'm very unimpressed and I can see this escalating to a PayPal dispute. I made it clear from the outset that I was looking for an amicable solution but the service has been stand offish and unprofessional so far.
  2. Didn't you ask about this company over in the retailer section? It's very rare for any company to improve or change unless it is subject to a drastic restructure/change in management/change in ownership. There are plenty of retailers out there and no doubt whatever you seek will be available somewhere else. It also wouldn't surprise me if you find the same products for less elsewhere. If you're unsure then check through the retailer section as a lot of companies have passed through at some point or another. As with all things the individual's experience will vary on a case by case basis and you're best reading whatever reviews are available to establish consistency in what you can likely expect from a business. Companies such as JustBB rely on people approaching them who have little to no experience in the hobby and those who overlook/fail to do research ahead of time. I would also suggest that you avoid making multiple posts covering the same subject across multiple/inappropriate sections of the forum. They'll only end up getting squashed by the moderators due to duplication/inappropriate content/<insert applicable reason here>. If you have questions about particular pieces of equipment/gear the "Guns, Gear & Loadouts" section of the forum contains a wealth of knowledge and the review sections are also worth looking at. At the end of the day it's your money and it's up to you what you do with it, however, I would suggest doing your research prior to posting. There are numerous sticky threads across the forum which are worth reading as many contain great information for getting started and assisting you in getting the most out of the forum.
  3. @Lasbrisas17 Great looking bit of kit. I was considering grabbing one of the Klesh-2 lights, any recommendations on which model? Would I be best getting it off the Zenitco ebay store?
  4. Wish I could make it or knew someone going, could really do with a vortex red dot.
  5. @L3wisD I must admit I've been really tempted by this as I think I've seen Russian troops utilising it but I'm hesitant to take the plunge without confirmation. It's a bargain price for sure.
  6. @Wo1f interesting new toys, what are they?
  7. It's the force it takes to rack it. Unfortunately I have some issues with my left arm which can make it difficult to support heavier guns (I'd have a PKM by now otherwise), to support guns past a certain point and I also found it acts up when trying to rack spring shotguns.
  8. I must admit, I love the look of the TM Spas 12. I've considered one but unfortunately I struggle with spring shotguns.
  9. I've got OD equipment simply because it tends to match up very well with a wide array of camo on the clothing front.
  10. @Asomodai Which is the best Tavor to go for at the moment? Admittedly for £75 you can't really argue although I wonder about the plastic quality as I recall reading about people having allergic reactions to one manufacturers iteration. For the life of me I can't recall which manufacturer unfortunately, just that it was a cheap one.
  11. @PopRocket123 - Out of curiosity which KWC is that? It it CO2 powered? I've become a massive fan of my 1911's since picking up my Mauri Series '70 and I got to considering a CO2 pistol in lieu of the cooler weather due to people contesting hits from my Marui pistols (not just my 1911). Admittedly this is more of a player issue than anything else.
  12. @paradoxum which shotgun is that and where did you pick it up from? It's more or less one of the shotgun designs I was looking for.
  13. @Helbi - Did you make the LLM-vr Replica or were you able to buy one from a seller? I've been after one for a little while now. Some excellent photo's and great work on all the kits.
  14. Would it be fair to assume both can be dumped to reveal a standard P90? If so I must admit, that's mighty tempting.
  15. Going to be posting an LCT AKMS (black polymer furniture) variant with a bunch of LCT parts/mag's/accessories in the coming days. Loathe to part with it but can't justify keeping it. Tried to sell it at a buy and sell recently but it appears AK's are out of favour in my neck of the woods (there were a fair few for sale and none shifted).

  16. Ordered up a few Magpul 5.56 mag assists, a HSGI sling attachment loop thing (can't recall the name) and a few consumables for cleaning up my pistols. Currently looking for a red dot that'll keep a zero but not sure what I'm looking for. I was considering an RMR but don't know if there are any good clones or if it would pair up well with the top of a SCAR.
  17. @sonofsammo - Might be the shape of things to come with the LCT pricing as time goes on. Unfortunately Nuprol have taken over distribution for Europe and the UK some time ago to LCT and ever since stock has been hard to come by. At least from conversations I've had with retailers. The price is a complete farce nonetheless.
  18. @Tackle - Unfortunately there's no shortage of chancers and rip off merchants in airsoft, just like in many walks of life.
  19. I've ordered up a couple of Tasmanian Tiger triple magazine pouches in Pencott Green Zone, a replacement Thermos mug for my all important first brew of the day and I've also placed an order for a smooth top cover for my AKS-74N. I need to track down a few more pieces of Pencott GZ but it's out of stock in a lot of places, fortunately I'm not in a great hurry.
  20. I must admit, I tried a GHK one thinking that it would a safe bet... Marui 1 : 0 GHK ?
  21. @bapexxx - Cheers for the heads up, to be honest I was hoping to get my hands on one in time to install it before Saturday but this maybe wishful thinking, haha. I'll definitely look up their website as I believe RA-Tech do a couple accessories/parts I was interested in.
  22. @DopeYourScope - No idea unfortunately, I'm going off of descriptions. I'll have to see if I can find more on RA-Tech's site (if I can find it). Hopefully I can find a retailer with the NPAS available in the UK. On a side note thank you to the chaps who responded to my queries regarding MWS viability and milsim events, as a result I'm going to keep it and run it. Admittedly I was very torn on the prospect of selling it so now I'm looking forward to exploring the platform to a much more extensive degree.
  23. I was looking at putting in an order for an NPAS and I just wanted to clarify something. When I was looking I spotted ones which are supposedly for the MWS and WE GBBR's but I've also seen ones advertised as specific MWS versions. Are they both the same or does the MWS need a specific one? Apologies if this has already been touched upon.
  24. @RossF - My main concern is in relation to how much extra you're adding to carry weight/extra encumbrance from the added weight of carrying sufficient gas to survive the course of a full event. I understand that a fair amount of kit is required for the longer events but I was concerned about the added weight/loss of space. On reflection it's perhaps a bit daft but I was looking at it from the perspective of "with an AEG I only need BB's" whereas with a GBBR I'll need plenty of gas and BB's to ensure I've got enough for the duration. @Wo1f - Appreciate the heads up and advice, to be honest cold shouldn't be an issue as the cold would likely aggravate other issues so it would only be events during warmer months. @DopeYourScope - To be honest the issue isn't any sensation or feeling of being outgunned but it's good to hear the feedback in relation to GBBR performance at these events. It's also encouraging to hear about their longevity in the field too. I can't say I'm a particularly trigger happy player, I'd much rather use one shot as opposed to many. @Shizbazki - I can't say I've ever really looked at the MWS as a full auto spray and pray kind of gun but I imagine there must be some out there who do, haha. Out of curiosity how many mag's do you run for longer events?
  25. @DopeYourScope - Thank you for the heads up, your perspective on it is very helpful. Admittedly I'm considering getting shut of mine for an NGRS as it seems more practical for Milsim type events but I'm conflicted on the matter.
