@B.S - I can't help but think your kit is missing a Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knife Great kit, absolutely fantastic. Admittedly I think I'll probably put together a WW2 kit once a Lee Enfield becomes available although I have considered an MP40.

I could be mistaken but I think this one deserves a welcome to the thread:

Given they claim it's "brand new" I'm of the inclination to agree with you. They've not listed any upgrades/changes to the internals so I'd suspect the FPS is much closer to whatever the stock figures are.

Mind sending over the details for the event organiser etc? I'll definitely have a look to see if it will be viable. -

@EvilMonkee - Any recommendations for retailers for Soviet/Russian kit? -
Neither do I to be honest but I felt it worth raising here. From the description I think he would have been better off listing it as a trade. As much as I like the Type 89 it's definitely a very niche gun.

This one can easily be found for around the £479.99 mark brand new from a retailer and all that that entails. I'm fairly certain I could find this from a retailer for less than £479.99 with some digging.

@rocketdogbert - Much like Speedbird, definitely wouldn't say no to a link to the source -
@Daver - This thread exists to generate awareness within the AF-UK community regarding the price attached to certain adverts. On the whole AF-UK tends to have a lot of banter and at times it can have a very dry sense of humour, however, if an advert ends up in this thread usually it is warranted and how you choose to respond is up to you. At the moment your initial response was fairly reasonable, if somewhat final, which is perfectly fine but the follow up is typical of many responses we see from those who are either new to the forum or who take offence at the mere mention of the name here. A significant number of people who are mentioned in this thread fail to engage with it and that is entirely up to them. The two other types of people who tend to respond typically respond in one of two ways. The first way is to become defensive and, usually, abusive to some degree. The second type will either qualify their asking price (which you're by no means required to do) and/or seek feedback as to why their advert ended up being highlighted. One thing to bear in mind is that Hitman was not offensive towards you nor did he direct any criticism towards you beyond viewing your advert as "a little on the high side" which is perfectly understandable when you consider the asking price. This isn't to say that the asking price isn't justified, especially taking into consideration the Plano case costing around £140 by itself in the UK, but bear in mind that the general rule for airsoft guns and accessories tends to be 60% - 70% of retail, typically based on cheapest reputable retailer. Availability being the obvious caveat as a further consideration point. Finally, I'd recommend removing the batteries from the bundle and making them an optional extra. I'd also suggest doing the same for the optic and pouch. You may also want to fill in some details such as the manufacturer and model of the scope along with the manufacturer of the pouch.

@mightyjebus What do you think of the Arcturus AK-12? Have you had chance to field it yet?

Wwii (Ww2) Kit Thread for All Factions
FreeFrag.UK replied to MSSW Rune's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
I'll have to look into the dimensions but this could be the answer. To be honest i've been looking at one of the WAS Covert plate carriers as this would also be useful for another kit I've already made but which looks odd when wearing my normal PC. -

@MSSW Rune - That's an absolutely awesome kit you've managed to build up. Out of curiosity how long has it taken you to build? I dare not ask the cost. As a further curiosity which MP40 have you gone with and how do you find it? -
I'm guessing it was eaten by a hacksaw or power tools 😕

I think that this might be a new entry into the thread: I realise presentation isn't everything but part of me can't help but look at the advert and the photo provided and just think "car boot sale". The advert definitely needs some work in terms of presentation and information. I'd also say that the price is a little on the optimistic side. I've not done any price shopping beyond trying to identify what's there but the main event appears to be a Krytac Mk II Trident CRB which appears to be around the £335 brand new based off of Patrol Base's pricing, which is rarely the best out there. I've no idea what the chopped down abortion of an M4 is. I'm guessing the pistol is included but again who knows, given the advertiser fails to make any reference to it at all. Plus there are numerous items in the photo which aren't included in the sale. Overall, another lazy advert which is asking far too much. At least in my opinion. Plus there's always the consideration that people are often better off breaking these up but again, that would require effort.

It'll largely be due to the grips used. They easily cost $350 dollars before shipping or anything else.

@osteoshot - Hmmm... let me know about the GHK... Just to be a tad cheeky XD -
@cristiallx - Hi Cris, While someone maybe able to answer your query please be aware that this is an airsoft forum, not an airgun forum.

Translation... it's f**ked.
-
I think this one is a new entry. Price wise it's not too far behind that of a brand new one (£279.00) without the two tone paint job and with a warranty. I know which I'd go for.
-
To be honest at £300 + P&P I'd definitely have it off him on payday.
-
I realise that this one may have already been posted but here's another contender: Link (really need to look up how to embed these links to give a preview). It's an ASG B&T MP9A1 and it is priced at £380.00 which includes: MP9 £200 Red dot sight £35 3 Extra magazine £44.99 each (leak free magazine) MP9 QD Suppresor Quick detach £55 The price isn't that far off the full retail price. Admittedly it does look in good condition as far as the externals go.

@MandalShArK what is the black component of your kit under the ammo belts?
