I filled my mags to play on Sunday just gone, but didn't get to play. So, as I'm playing this Sunday, I'm wondering whether I should empty them now, or just leave em til Sunday...

Totally agree with this. Advertising stuff you haven't even got is a big no no in my book. And as @Rogerborg says, is the sort of stuff that could get the new classifieds section a bad name. I think it reasonable to delete the ad and then tell him he can re-advertise when he actually has the RIF and can post actual pics of it..... If he's above board, I can't see him having a problem with that at all.

Yes, yes it did. Not one skirmish. One game. That's fewer than 5 mags through it and about 45 minutes play time..... Reliable and G5 do not belong in the same sentence, unless it's a sentence which decries their reliability....

A few things I've noticed. It seems heavier than the stock silencer. It's quieter than the stock silencer. It's prettier than the stock silencer. Definitely makes one handed use harder, so I won't be using it for a while!

If you can solder - just convert to deans and be done with it
On rare occasions you might need dean/tamiya converter
Just knock one or two up yourself from old lopped off ends
Though converters are fine to use different bits together
You will still suffer the resistance as you still using tamiya
throughout the wiring loom, these joints is where resistance
and/or warmth/heat may occur (like all joints in loom)
If you can't solder, ask a m8 who can
just cut-solder one lead at a time on batteries - especially lipo's
they pack one heck of a wallop if you short or cut both wires at same time
(clean underwear will likely be required after experiencing a lipo short)
Replacing small tamiya with deans outright is best
Even Mr T agrees.....

My son has stolen a bit off my drop leg holster - so I currently can't use it as a drop leg, which means it won't attach to my battlebelt. It's a Blackhawk! I got from our very own @Davegolf (and it was an awesome deal!). Does anybody know where I can get a replacement strap and buckle to attach to the belt please? TIA

Nice buy! I keep eyeing them up as they are a thing of beauty - did you get it new or pre owned? How much? And, more importantly - where's the pic??? On to my newest acquisition: Possibly the cheapest new ARP9 ever, @ £160 delivered. Not that I'll be firing it any time soon, but hey ho. I've been sat on the fence about one of these for a long time, but at that price it was a no brainer! I'm not a fan of the stock. It's tiny, so will have to look at changing that somehow. Now just waiting for batteries/charger/drum mag......

Unfortunately, there seems to be nothing to hold the metal rod in place. Or the black end plate? Errrr - and I can't get either back in place anyway

It's all gone horribly wrong. Grub screw. Check. Pins. Check. Front piece of the handguard and inner metal rod moving - shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit What do I do now? It seems I know enough to wreck a gun, but not fix it. I was only taking it off to cheer myself up cos I can't shoot the damned thing. Please help before I implode. Or break something else....

It's only been a few days and tbh, it's no fun! Can't sleep due to the pain, which is making me grumpier. And no pewpew!! But I live in hope - I've booked a couple of games for early May, which I am really looking forward to.
