  1. No worries... The answer is probably possibly... Tbh it's worth just using a chrono if you have one and checking your FPS consistency...
  2. Quite possibly... Tbh I'd be happy with 56... But then I always refil gas and BBS at the same time. I'll leave it to someone more knowledgeable to chip in there ...
  3. That is strange, I only have v1 mags unfortunately so I couldn't say your best course of action. Yeah I just stop filling when the hissing disappears. I'm not sure what could be causing you to vent so much gas though...
  4. That sounds like you're not putting enough gas in. With the silent fill mod I'd ignore the 12 second thing as that will be gas dependent and also depend on how much gas was in there to start with. Instead listen to the gas going into mag. Literally ear next to the can as you're filling listen to the quiet hiss. That will give you an actual idea of how long it's going to take... The other thing is how full your can of green gas is. It's worth remembering that these mags can hold A LOT of gas compared to the volume of the gas can...
  5. I use a guns modify ambi selector and it works ok. Not the crispest action bit it functions well enough...
  6. Yeah, no bolt catch... The only way you know that you're out is the deadmans click as the striker hits empty air... Tokyo Marui have done a really nice job there on that.
  7. @alxndrhllI definitely agree it is possibly the oddest business model but I guess you can get away with a lot when you have a good product and consistent QC
  8. There is a special tool that fits over the barrel and slides inside the handguard to do up the barrel nut... Same as the real steel. It's quite a neat design really, just not cheap to reproduce. Having said that, whilst the upper is fairly expensive, the full kit is actually an ok ish price, although still expensive. Considering the very low quantities they actually make them in I'd say it's a decent price. It's certainly not a small bit of machining as you say. If I did a batch of 10 through the suppliers I use at work I would expect to pay about £750 per receiver and that's not including anodising or design time which also adds up really quickly...
  9. Unfortunately not... The width is a little bit different so you would need to make a spacer for the mag release... I think ATRG did a blog on how to do that though so it can be done with some modifications. Edit: Here is the link to the blog post I mentioned
  10. For me it's a general lack of S&W pistols besides the really rare WA ones... Something like the 5906 for example... But it's unlikely to ever happen unfortunately.
  11. Yes and no. They are reasonably stiff and come in a variety of lengths however they are also two part assemblies so make sure the grub screws are tightened up and loctighted... Don't make the mistake I did and send the outer barrel flying mid fire fight 😅
  12. I've asked firesupport to order some in and they've said they'll be with them within a few weeks. Personally I'm after them as part of my impression build as they seem to be the first good P-mags and they have been used by SF guys. The round count is the same as my TM mp7 so not a massive difference really, but the much larger gas chamber *may* help with cool down if you like full auto. I'll probably stick a full review up when I get my hands on some.
  13. FRV slings are reasonable for the price, but the webbing is only 1" which isn't actually that comfortable. But that's just my experience. The plus side is that the hardware is reasonable. Although there are better out there. Can I ask how often you actually use your sling? (Since I use mine a lot I went for a magpul MS3, alternatively Andy at TacbeltsUK on IG does good way of the gun slings at a very reasonable price.)
  14. So I notice that g&p have released an extended P-Mag for the MWS.... Has anyone managed to test one, and if so how does it compare to the other P-mags out there for consistency? https://shop.jkarmy.com/g-p-g-mag-long-ver-for-marui-tm-mws-gbbr-system-black-magazine-p-mag-style.html
  15. Pretty much why I'm holding out for theirs over the archwick kit due out at some point.... Although all this talk of 416's has got me thinking now 🤣🤣🤣
  16. I'm looking forward to this build... I'm still sitting here patiently waiting for their L119A2 MWS kit, but the Hao kits seem really well made 👍
  17. This advert is COMPLETED!

  18. tbh the standard 250mm TM inner barrel is just as good as if not better than most of the aftermarket alternatives so it will always be a solid option.
  19. so the two terms you've used are both colloquial terms for muzzle velocity or muzzle energy. and as @Davegolf has said a longer barrel increases this, but this is only half of what makes a difference particularly in gas guns. as far as increasing range goes though, that is significantly down to the hop unit/rubber itself and it's ability to consistently put enough hop on the BB in a controlled way, and that is what makes the mws a pretty special GBBR. there isn't another magical force that gives it extra range though.
  20. if it's loosened up a little already then you're almost certainly right. it sounds like they have tightened the tolerance without thinking about the thickness of the paint on the mag... it's probably just one of those things at least that means you should have very good consistency due to a solid gas seal.
  21. It sounds like the tolerance on the mag release where it it holds the mag in as a bit too tight... as to whether you want to sand it down a little is up to you. although I can't be sure without seeing it in person.
  22. you won't regret it... don't even have to change anything if you don't want too...
  23. my rs magpul ASAP sling plate fitted fine without any modification so I'd imagine that the QD would work just as well...
  24. yep, they're great for some of the hard to get stuff and importing things with a bit less hassle. not the cheapest but reliable. they've also been responsible for getting things like the Angry Gun L119A2 rail into production.
  25. at that point... the work had better be carried out by the TM masters where they have employed a thousand fairies to infuse extra magic into what is probably only an averagely performing Rif... 😅
