    todays winner is: even with all the bits, reckon I can buy the whole lot new with a warranty from uk retailers for the same price, prob lot cheaper if I look abroad, Poland maybe ?.

    Hey Guys, seeing as Santa's not likely to be dropping an SLR & STERLING down the chimney (cnut), I'll have to sort it myself, so decided to shift kit that isn't getting used to fund them. Starting with my ASG Mac10, which as everyone knows is a rebadged JG, which is a near perfect copy of the TM. I've had it at least two years but its never actually been used in a game, only plinked in the back garden, with less than a mag put through it, so less than 400 bb's. With it comes the charger & battery, original mag, as well as an additional SEVEN mags, so EIGHT all metal 400bb mags in total.(all new) Plus an extra s/h gearbox that I picked up (just in case), off of one of the forums, & a lightweight chest rig for smg mags, it'll hold 3 but has extra molle so could take another couple of twin pouches taking the total to seven 😁. Why have I never used it in game ?, I never bought any extra batteries, only mags, as I always intended to do a LiPo conversion on it, but typically never seemed to find the time lol. Price is all in, bearing in mind the mags make it a heavy package, & it'll be delivered by a signed for service. any questions just holla. Cheers Mark

    lol, the only person your trying to help is yourself, & recoup what you paid. your not the first to get the arse with this thread, you wont be the last, but that's the great thing about this forum, it allows members to comment on numerous subjects that other forums are seemingly scared to allow discussion on.

    so do I buy it new from any number of well known retailers for £35, or "new" from a forum member who decided he didn't like it after buying it, for me it sparks up the age old argument of what's considered genuinely "new", I know my stance on it, especially when I've previously bought an immaculate s/h one for a tenner.

    never used an m4, but did shoot its older bro' the m16, while I liked the lightweight, nowt beats the stopping power & accuracy of the 7.62, even the ak, which I think I shot in 7.92 was positively agricultural in comparison, not a fan.😒

    Neither I think, just because the SLR was frickin awesome (imho), well the real steel anyway, not been fortunate enough to get my hands on the Airsoft version.

    generally a beret without a cap badge is fine to most ex-service personnel, the only exception sometimes is if its of a colour specific to only one regiment, maroon para beret being a good example, then sometimes people still get shirty. BUT the downside to a plain beret is it usually looks shite, & you end up looking like the lovechild of Frank Spencer & Citizen Smith (ask you parents who they were 😏). As for snoods etc, they will always add to problems with misting up, better to go with a mesh faceguard of some kind, allows condensing breath to dissipate.

    @Super64, call my cynical if you like, but why not repost them in a few weeks when its half term, more likely to find a punter who'll pay your prices. And no, you not being able to name the brands doesn't necessarily mean they're shite, but it does tell me that they're unlikely to be top quality 😉.

    not so much "bought", swapped actually, picked up this Ace Skeleton stock for my ak, swapped the ak's g&g ctr stock & tube for it, quite happy with it.

    Lol, I had the carbine & shortened it to para length, but to be fair back then the para version wasn't available for Airsoft, so it was like me, speshul 🤡 I miss that gun, just don't miss its trigger.
