Rarely post on this thread, the wife might see it lol. but today bought a chrono, my first in nearly twenty years of playing, as I've got a "few" projects awaiting assembly, thought I'd better invest in one rather than get turned away on site. plus I've ordered some new "old skool" dpm for winter use, as I'm sure the wife has shrunk my old stuff, it's definitely got tighter 😏

Thing is, the guys been around for a few years, so should know the score with s/h prices, why he thinks it's worth so much is beyond me ?, other than you don't see many come up in the s/h sales, but at that price you'd opt for a new one with an appropriate warranty.

It's a real steel brand, & in the US is an acceptable brand for supplementing/replacing issued bdu's (I bought a set of mc when I was in Florida, way before MTP was considered for U.K. issue), but no better really than brands like helikon & the like. not so available in the U.K., but I think that's just because importing it means lower justifiable profit margins, given that some other US brands are in higher demand at a similar rrp.

I'm confused, if he knew how much its cost him, & he had a ballpark figure in his head that he wanted/expected, why the fudge did he even post up for an appraisal ?, did he think we were gonna come up with an even higher figure than his own valuation, therefore justifying his own overpricing ?. while his wasn't a major tantrum, he definitely spat his dum dum out, emphasized by his attempt to delete posts. thing is, when he didn't get the answers he wanted to hear, its daft that he then puts up a sales thread, which technically has already been sabotaged by the appraisal thread, he'd have been better off saying no more & pissing of to zin & advertising it there. every village has got one 😉 yeah but no but ....... how many Gats do you own Rog ?
