Absolutely, I bought the SSP5 to replace my TM 5.1, bought it because I liked the look of it and i wanted to see what the fuss is about on novritsch replicas. It's decent, I could get a TM Hi Capa to shoot better and farther with upgrades, and I have in the past. But it's a decent little pew pew for that money, i would not rate it as awesome value, but decent, and sometimes, you just want a replica that'll shoot instead of another project. Especially when we all know those project guns, we all have a highly specific list of parts that can take time to track down.

Bear in mind, custom inspection can take time so don't freak out, my replica took a couple of days getting from Redwolf to the UK, then from sept 23 to October 10 it was in custom and then next day. And yes, I'd hit refresh twice a day on tracking

Much like bigger woodland sites, go to a site with a good marshall team. The Mall in Reading was epic, but would have been shit without the excellent marshall team. Now I am in Suffolk, I play at Battle Stations in Snetterton, same. They make it inclusive, they make sure newbies are welcome ( we try to help with that obv) so it's brilliant Speedsofter are not as big an issue as lots of people say because they do help change the game dynamics. I am not into it because I prefer a more realistic replica. A good team will weed out the wrong kind of players and that'll be a great experience. Regarding @Cannonfodder answer on spawn, the mall would sometimes have a rule on respawn, you wait in spawn until there is 5 of you and then you go, that's brilliant because at any time, one team could be missing up to 4 players so it helps the other team push and moves the game, keeps it from getting stagnant.

Pistol only is a fun cab gameplay, but 2 gbb mags gets you around 60-70 BBS, it can go real quick, I like 4 or more mags if I play pistol only.

Like @Rogerborg said, play a couple of games with different rentals. And ask player if you can shoot a couple of bbs with their replicas ( most of us will happily let you do so ) I was going to buy a steyr aug for my first RIF, because it looked so cool, tried it, turns out i hate the ergonomic of that particular replica, it’s entirely personal, biased and it can be a very decent pew pew. But i would have sunk a couple of 100s in a replica that does not fit me. Same with the Svd, looked cool, the gun is 120cm and I am 170, not exactly the best for mobility as a dmr. You are likely going to build your loadout and your play style around your first replica, so try a couple before committing, you might be more of an AK or G36 user than M4.

Be careful, even if it is not in the terms like for UPS, getting a refund when/if they return the replica is a real uphill battle. And they can refuse it because they do not understand the legality of it. Talking from experience. I would advise in your ad to specify you only sell to uk buyers. Some answers - M4 Platform Have you looked at VFC, they are more known for their hk 416 but it is close to an M4, and i keep my hk416 as a spare in care my gbbr craps out. Krytac are not bad but i believe they have some proprietary stuff ( dont take my word for it) Specna does some decent stuff and is better value than the previous brands i quoted, i’d stay away from marui recoil if you want recoil, go gbbr - 350FPS for UK sites - shoot .28 / .30 for woods and wind/range Whatever replica you get, make sure you can install a good standard hop up chamber, put in a harder nub, and while you’re at it, why not get a nice barrel, Maple leaf are good, prommy can be excellent but some qc issues, PDI used to be a good standard, lots of threads on those subject online Good hop/barrel set up will matter more for range and accuracy than fps, everyone will confirm - Mainly semi-auto... possibly some full auto but not bothered about giga RPS. Tend not to be a sprayer. keep the auto function on your rif, sometimes it can be fun to “get your gun off” if the site allows and you’re not magdumping someone - Reliable Everyone will have different experience and opinion on that. Have you considered hpa with a kythera which does semi only and put a co2 adapter in the stock so you dont have to deal with the line, that’ll be more reliable than a gearbox, and silent, or a mtw wolverine with wraith stock, it’ll cost but i havent hear anyone say anything bad about those yet. - Lightweight / polymer body. That’s not neccessary, get a well balanced rif, lighter rail at the front ( ex: change your picatinny to a keymod ) and use a correctly set up two point sling - Mixed woods/CQB... do it all You’ll probably want a barrel at most 14.5 inch ( m4a1 length ). I would not go under 10 inch barrel ( MK18 or m4 cqbr) but that’s personnal preference, i dont want my rifle to have a smaller barrel than a pistol ( although i like the arps from g&G and the arp 556 could really be a good fit looking at your requirements ) - Short/shorter style rifle maybe best for use? (do it all) Get a 10 in barrel, put in a pdw stock, or an arp 556 - not too sure on batteries but 11.1v lipo sounds nice Cant see why that would be neccessary, but i’ll let someone else take this one -I wear a DYE i4 mask and would like to continue to. I understand I may need an adaptor for the stock I would advise a raised red dot, and you won’t need stock adaptor, and it looks tacticool ( it’s my next purchase ) Finally, you like diy and teching yourself, let me save you some grief, if you ignore the rest, make sure to pay attention to this: DO NOT open your gearbox on your main replica if you do not have a spare rif. If you put it back wrong ( and that’ll happen, that’s a when, not an if ) you cant play, you risk ruining other bits, and turn your 6mm war machine into a paperweight

Good day at Gunman Airsoft in Tuddenham. I got to try my new ( new to me ) MWS, and GBB are cool, but it is gonna take me some time going from a standard 200 bb midcap down to 35 per mag. They had a filsim theme event, and it is a nice change of pace to have the objectives being more complex than just “ shoot bbs at the other team”. I liked the site, and the marshall team was good. Had a good game with the green team, good team play, good collab. I am gonna need a day or two for my legs to recover but i will definitely go again.

Arp9 or any smaller smg could be good. Also could be worth trying a two point sling, it will change how the load is distributed.

Sorry to hear about the pain, one thing that works well me is to put a second layer underneath the clothes, i got one of those really close fit - sweat wicking tshirts, almost a rashguard. You ‘ll still feel the hit, but the second layer does a good job of stopping the skin from breaking and i sweat way less than with full plates. Hope this helps

Always good to get new people shooting bbs 🙂 Dont feel like you need to upgrade just because it is a starter ( and ignore the brand snobs ), so long as you are having fun with it. As someone who started in the early 2000’s, starter aeg have come a really, really long way, they are highly playable and enjoyable.

+1 on what @Tommikka said for clear to amber lens Face pro and lights: I would advise mesh because i dont want to show up to work with bbs impact on my face. Flashlight have the added benefits of looking tacticool so i have one on my replica even in full day light For the long gun vs cqb, dont get a replica before you know if you like cqb, the added challenge could make the game more fun, consider playing one or two round with just your secondary if you have one. I used to play at the mall in Readin, and a couple of time i went with full length m16 and hi capa, and it was good fun,

Maybe off topic but at 450 fps, most field i played would have a minimum engagement distance, so the bb is not neccessarily hitting you at 450 fps. Is your testing representative of your playing conditions ? And if you have players that are hitting 450 fps close range and dont get told off then kicked for the day or banned if it keeps happening, i’d consider whether this is the best place to play. Instead of the full protection for optics as well, you might want to consider a brand’s warranty, i hear a lot of good from vortex where they will repair, but i have never had one so cant vouch for it.

Rent at different fields, they might have different rifle type to try, ergonomy is important Definitely try to play your RIF stock first. Get yourself a decent aeg,Save the money of the upgrades and get yourself first 1) a pistol, they are cool ( did i mention how cool it is to go in a building and go close range with a pistol 2) some nice comfy boots 3) some quality eyepro, i played years with cheap ( impact rated but cheap eyepro ) and that’s made a huge difference 4) maybe some cool gear like a chest rig 5) a second replica, most of us have different ones, i like short smg/assault rifle for cqb and i like dmr 6) figure out which replica to upgrade how: a) i dont need to upgrade my marui pistol because i am happy with how it shoots b) my hk416c could use some higher rate of fire, so that’s how i’ll upgrade it. c) i upgraded my dmr for consistency more than range d) look at the hop up and barrel first for any replica to upgrade, i started with JG ak years ago, hop and barrel made a world of difference DO NOT START with a bolt action rifle, they can be cool, but youtube does not show you accurately what it is to play with those, and some brands and platform will be easier to upgrade/tech/repair because they use a lot of standard parts or are clones of standard replica.

As a secondary for a secondary, those pistol grip grenade moscart launchers can be really fun, you been spotted, that glock or mk23 is a good secondary but the grenade launcher is like the spanish inquisition, no one expects that 😀 ( just dont be a dick and open up close with a 40 mike) I had the cyma one when i was running a vsr + glock. Good fun
