Really appreciate the reply - I actually used this video to get the rest of my gearbox back together - but it doesn't show the bolt catch which is what I have left to do. This is exactly what I found that there are lots of videos on gearbox assembly disassembly, gun strips, even mag release, but no bolt catch videos for AEG, only for GBBR.

Anyone know of a video on reinstalling this kind of bolt catch? I can't find one anywhere and it's not apparent how to do it. Best I could find is this, but it doesn't really relate to what my gearbox shell looks like, there's nowhere to put the spring like that with mine.

Moving to Dorset come January, hoping to find some good sites there after a while out of the game. Looking on maps though, it seems pretty empty (which I’m not convinced of given the plethora of rural space) with only 1 site coming up called Spec Ops. Am I missing some awesome sites that just aren’t very visible on a search?

So I’ve put back tappet plate (coiled spring with 2 loop ends?) trigger spring, mag release and ARL. This one is left over, and I know not whence it came.

Actually - I’ve already put that one back. It looks similar but the ARL spring angles back on itself, at least on my gearbox it does. unless I’ve put the wrong on on the ARL but it fits and works perfect.

My M4 Gearbox threw gears, springs and bits everywhere when I took it apart because, put simply, I was stupid and didn't hold the spring down tight enough when I unscrewed the housing. I've put it mostly back together, but I have one spring left over that I'm not sure of its origin. Would appreciate some help in what this came off and where it needs to go back.

Hi all, you all know me here, I thought I'd just post a valuation question for some feedback - I have a BAR-10 that's been used in 6-8 games, upgraded with a fresh hop, cylinder, spring, rubber and barrel, shoots straight as an arrow on .43s, it's tuned up with tiny adjustments inside to make it all work like clockwork - I can make a first shot "kill" at Coms Site 3 with it end-to-end on the field (approx 125m). It's cost me around £600-£650 to build, and in impeccable condition, what would you say would a reasonable sale price for it to find a loving new owner?

To be fair there is a deep boot, but it’s thin front to back, and not enough space to put the dogs in. Otherwise I love it, it drives beautiful. Cant sit in the back if you’re a grown adult for safety though, not sure how it pass safety testing - the roof slants down low so that anyone over 5’11” will get their neck broken if the car is rear ended, as there’s up to a foot of empty distance between your head and the headrest. It has split seats so I was planning to remove the single seat in the back for extra space, but it’s actually 60/40 split seatBACKs, with a single bench-like seat all across.

Just bought a Nissan Juke. Love it, but need to sell it or swap for a qashqai for the extra space.

They are not related, having an FAC has no bearing on purchasing a RIF. You do not need UKARA to buy a RIF, as long as you have a valid VCRA defence. UKARA is simply an easy route to have that defence. As for the above, Slamz is correct. Committing an offence with an airsoft gun may warrant prosecution as if it were an illegally held firearm. Not a “low powered air gun”. The low powered air gun thing is more about your BBs or Pellets landing in a road or someone else’s property. Not using a RIF as if it were a section 5 firearm.

TG has some big clearance stuff on now - getting rid of lots of pouches and gear at stupid prices (like £1.87 for a multicam double M4 mag pouch). Offsets the delivery costs somewhat, so worth looking into. Have filled my basket with a set of plates, 4 double mag pouches mag pouches, dump pouch, insulated water bottle pouch, admin and quad pistol mag combi, dump pouch, green gas, bag of .25BBs and a helmet cover for £48.31 with postage. And is there a way for an admin to change the post order on this thread so new replies appear at the front, rather than the bottom of the last page?

I think you're best off with a GBBR for that. Can't think of a good AEG trigger off the top of my head.
