Golden Eagle Gas Shotgun any good?
GothicGhost replied to GothicGhost's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Yeah my main in MTW so I just some something different, I have a spring shotgun and I was very happy with the range. But I thought a gas shotgun would be nice, but I don't want to payout £160 for a wall hanger lol -
Thank you i think the m29 look like maybe the one then.

I read few times that after a while it leak and sometimes you can't fix it? Seems very fiddly to open up? I am 50/50 still lol -

Looking at gas shotguns to HPA and I was looking at two versions from golden eagle. I was told the stock tube version can leak more then the grip one? Also how hard is it to work on them? I read they have lots little small parts. Grip gas tank version. Stock tube gas tank version.

I run my MTW with plate carrier and big hydration pouch on the back for the 48 tank, but also have the fake foam plates front and back, also a small 1KG plate at the front for counter balance. I want to separate backpack and smaller chest rig for the really hot days The backup I have now that not pictured is this and it has a nice hard layer so you don't feel the tank at all. https://www.military1st.co.uk/pl-edc-cd-45-helikon-edc-pack-backpack-pencott-wildwood.html

Beginner Set Up Recommendations
GothicGhost replied to Point Two Balls's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
I am in the same boat as my son (11), first game is in a few weeks and only some plate carriers would just about fit him while other he would be able to kneel or bend as it soo low down lol. -
I do like belt only setups and I have tried a few chest rigs before, the trouble with chest is on some of them you can't change the mag pouches and sometimes they suck and you need buy another chest rig. Now I bought I decent plate carrier that light durable although not cheap (about £300 for the setup) I prefer it over anything else I used before. Maybe if I bought a better chest rig then I might have a different opinion.

Made the rail cover now as well, going try making a scope cover but that be little bit harder to do.
-
Once I got my MTW I got rid of my VSR lol I can switch from DMR to CQB mode during the day if I wanted.
-
First time using a sewing machine and eyelet tools I made a prototype/test suppressor cover in pencott greenzone. The next one I will really take my time and try make look better.
-
My helmet was a cheap one so maybe if I get nicer one it be much better Mite have to spend more cash...
-
Nice definitely gets some pics up 😁 I was running a helmet before but I was getting too hot lol.

Still need to make a few covers for the rail, scope and suppressor but I think the rest of it finished now. This is a mix of wildwood and greenzone and they do blend well together.
