The 'What have you just bought' Thread
Dentonboy replied to Cameron364's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Went to the Overlord show near Waterlooville on Saturday - the old man took his Land Rover to display - and grabbed a pair of barely-worn brown AKU High Liability boots for a not unreasonable £35. Had I had a spare £700, I'd have bought a deactivated Steyr AUG too. -
Not been there for ages. Back in the day - 2005-07 - the showroom was absolutely stunning and stocked with loads of cool bits. But the prices couldn't compete with others online.

Hard to say value wise what it is worth tbh. Minimum £200 ball park figure, but very little information around to give a comparison to, one US site had a price of $850 but unsure if US or CAN $.
-
I'd be interested if you do decide to sell it.
-
I'd happily buy it if you are selling.
-
Thanks. Probably going to sell an obscene amount of Crye gear too.

I have a G&P M16/M203 AEG that I'd sell for the right price if anyone is interested.
-
Won't be at NAF but if you message me, I can give you my brother's number. Will also add that the gun case will be included for the right offer for everything in the pictures.

Trying to get a price for this G28, the mags, scope and bipod. Skirmished less than 5 times. It is my brother's who needs to clear out some unused bits.

If you want something that looks good, is functional and will probably hold some resell value, look at the Z-Shot Crye licensed PCs. TMC and Emerson also make good Crye replicas. They are light, well made and in the case of the JPC 2.0 and AVS, modular.

Just bought a Crye Field Shirt and a pair of Crye Field Pants in MTP. I am led to believe they were made for trials with the new Ranger unit. -
I had a Classic Army AUG which I now bitterly regret selling! Was an excellent AEG. Buy one if you see one.

Just want to test the water price-wise, as not skirmished for ages and am not wholly sure if I am done with it to be honest. Attached a pic of current set up. TM 416C - flat HOP installed - lifts 0.3s and above with little difficulty - along with front wiring to MagPul grip and a MOSFET installed (cannot remember which brand). Recently serviced by Crawley Surplus. 340-350 fps with 0.2s iirc. 6 TM Lo-Cap NGRS magazines black 1 TM Lo-Cap NGRS magazine tan 1 TM 416C Lo-Cap battery mag black 2 Mid-cap PMAG style NGRS magazines black TM 416 DEVGRU suppressor and flash hider plus original TM flash hider VFC RAL 8000 folding rear sight plus original TM rear sight

Cheers, what did you mean re. Mixed reviews of the 20rd mags please?
-
@sonofsammo - no, not sure I want to part with it, but would quite like to know what it is worth should I be persuaded.

Just want to test the water, as not skirmished for ages and am not wholly sure if I am done with it to be honest. Attached a pic of current set up. Would like a realistic price point please on my TM MWS and some of the bits I'd probably want included in any sale as would rather sell as a job lot: TM M4A1 MWS with stock internals. Shoots around 320fps on Nuprol 1.0. Around 340fps on Nuprol 2.0. Has been known to be 'hotter' on other gases. Fires extremely well. I think I have the original box somewhere too. 9 x gas tight TM '30rd' magazines and 1 x gas tight TM '20rd' magazine. Surefire style flash hider (as pictured) plus original TM M4 birdcage flash hider. Magpul grip plus original TM grip. Magpul MOE stock in tan, Magpul MOE stock in black, TM Block 1 crane stock, original TM M4A1 MWS stock. TM LMT rear sight TM Knights Type 5.56mm silencer Cheers.

Got to be at least £1000 still.

Hardshells anyone? (Includes PCU ramblings and thoughts)
Dentonboy replied to Skara's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Second hand Triple Aught Design, or see if there are any surplus PCU items on ebay that would suit. -
Gorgeous to look at. Gorgeous to hold. HOP was TERRIBLE so had to buy an aftermarket replacement. It is a stunning bit of kit. 10/10 externals. 5/10 internals.

OK, not incredibly cheap, but if a team wants some RS lids at potentially <£200 each... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/334759593866?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=fu5PiP0zQeW&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=3U8Od8G9Smi&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Airsoft, finances and mental health.

Definitely agree. I have deleted Instagram several times due to the 'let's impress someone' mindset it gives you. I now just use it sparingly. -
I can remember a lad at Worthing circa 2006 who was lethal with his FAMAS.

TM gas Browning HP. NBB, who cares?!
