Had a MAC for a while (bought it for ALL the reasons stated!) but as so many are sayIng I just couldn’t use it at my home site as I got on ok with basically all the regular players there and to be honest once the novelty of emptying the whole mag in under 2sec wore off i just felt a right nobber for using it on guys I considered friends , first timers and unknown players ? Nah couldn’t give a flying fornication about hosing the bejesus out of them but not my S’ofting bro’s ! 😱🤣🤣🤣🤣

Me personally I think it comes down to you’ve got a lot of well established players on here and a good few are of an older age group than you’ll normally find on Facebook groups/forums/etc so a phrase I definitely don’t hear being used that much any more applies to an awful lot of us on here , ‘piss taker’ there is a LOT of piss taking on here (why I like this one)but I’m sorry to say these days there’s also a lot of people who just can’t handle it . Time and time again I see or hear someone moaning and complaining about being offended/bullied/victimised/picked on etc the list goes on and on , I look to see the cause and all I can see is what to me is just banter , piss taking or man talk . I know I’m a dinosaur (safe to say there’s more here than Jurassic park !) but it’s not personal it’s just piss taking , simple as that and some people REALLY do need to lighten up . so endeth the sermon .😇

Question ; I’m looking in to acquiring another gatt (why I hear you cry ! not as if I can play anywhere ?yes I know but haven’t bought a gun in ages ! 😇) so seen a couple of interesting ones on the forums , I messaged the seller on here (nice quick reply , thank you good sir) and I messaged one on Zero-mong , now the one on the mong I accidentally messaged a potential buyer(teach me to pay attention to names !) who’d chucked a very low ball offer to the seller . SO the potential buyer comes back to me with “hi I’m actually buying it and it’s sold.” I think oh well aren’t I a right bonehead ! Not 10mins later I get a message from the seller say he hadn’t received my PM (I posted in the thread “PM sent”) so I was rather confused by this , messaged him and he comes back to me with the other guy hadn’t bought it as the seller rejected his low ball and was still waiting for a higher offer ! So as I asked at the top Is this bad form or not ? me personally I’d say yes , my reasoning is he hadn’t sealed the deal so it was still fair game and up to the seller to decide not him , all he had to say was “I’m actually a buyer and am in negotiations for it” and as I do like to think I’ve got a good name for fair play I’d have left it at that as he’d got there first . I know I’m very old fashioned about a lot of things but me I say yup that was a dick move .

But one could equally say just because a gimp suit is made of rubber does not mean it’s a divers wet suit either ? 🤔 Or even not even looking like someone else in the slightest ? 😳 saying that I wouldn’t want to be armed police , at least in the army slotting the target was actually the first option not the last ?

My take on international sales now we have left the EU is there’s a price on the web page for the order , you then add the P&P which gives you the retailers final delivery price . The buckle I’ve circled clips over the whole Sling bar so it spreads the load and not concentrating it on one spot like a clip buckle does .

I have a real MP5 sling on mine , because the rear mount on the sling is a sort of tube buckle it holds nicely with no distortion of the sling point .👍

All most identical scenario at the first NAE I went too , me and my bud laying down in a very dense block of Rodo’s holding up a ridiculously large number of Delta’s at a junction of a couple of paths for just two blokes to be doing and they where screaming blue murder they must of hit us but they hadn’t , if you know the ground zero site a lot of the undergrowth at the sides of the paths has like a mini burm running along it so if your laying down you can quite happily pick them off but they have no chance of hiting you . Marshal turns up sticks his head in the undergrowth then pops back out and shouts “your no where near them !” It happens . I saw the head marshal at my home site a couple of times pull a player too the side who was shouting take your hits a lot asking him to point out who he was shouting at and once pointed out if he thought no chance you did he’d call up another marshal tell him to stand at an equal’ish distance and tell the player to fire three shots at the marshal AND not once did I ever see or hear of the marshals getting hit . Always thought it was a rather good lesson to learn .

Totally agree with every point you’ve made ! I’ve always been of the opinion it’s not the kit that matters it’s the player . How many times have we ALL seen ‘that’ player with a gatt that on paper should dominate a game field but they can’t hit shit with it BUT equally how many times have we all also seen a virgin fresh rental guy play like a demon with one of the sites crappy G36/M4/AK Beta ???? Good guns can make a difference but If you’ve got some right cockwomble pulling the trigger who hasn’t a clue how to set up his kit properly(set the hop , zero the sight) then it’s like pissing in the wind . Plus I’ve always thought the ranges we shoot at once you get to know how your gun handles , feels , shoots then realistically you should be able to hit a head’n’shoulder sized target at most sites with out a scope or sights just by intuition.
