  1. Your choice was definately on the heavier side of the Rock family I enjoy this one by Turisas https://youtu.be/7woW7DmnR0E
  2. Or it could be argued, huge musical appetite and poor taste I am more eclectic, with an early 80s bias
  3. Speed loaders jamming and just not working very well I use the Tokyo Marui pistol and M4 style speedloaders, had no issues with either one No decent choice of airsoft bag, e.g everything just gets dumped into a bag and no structure to it I use my old army kit bag, holds enough (battle belt, BBs, bayonet, gas, mask, helmet, etc, and has small plastic internal pocket for car keys, and pockets at either end for lunch, and other items. Use a gun bag which has external pocket for mags. I pack on the day before, check I have all equipment necessary. I think bigger issue is that sites do not all cater very well to the space we need to get sorted and allow enough free table area per player to kit up. No safe way of transporting and storing lipo's I bought some cheap plastic boxes for each LiPo battery, easy to carry to a game in kit/gun bag and protects them. I keep them in ammo tin at home along with all other batteries in their own plastic containers. No cheap but good quality ammo available in bulk Define cheap and bulk. Patrol Base sell ASG 0.25g Blaster 12 bottles x 3000 BB for £70, which is good value even with P&P. Getting Blaster Devils 0.28g and 0.30g for price of Blaster 0.25g if bulk, i.e. 6+ would be good. No new guns or innovation in the airsoft world relating to the guns we use I would like better quality internals and external parts on all stock guns. Bought TM for their reliability out of the box. issue not an option ( please email if you... Players not taking their hits (apparently in Japan it is almost unheard of for players to cheat). Poor marshals not stepping in to deal with issues or regulate the game. Poor game briefs not clearly giving instructions and general time wasted in safe zone between games.
  4. Cannot remember the science but I think fogging is caused due to a temperature difference between the inside of the goggles and outside and the lens. Getting hot and sweating heats up the inside of goggles / mask causing condendsation due to lower lens and outside temperature. I know I get worse fogging when the ambient temperature is cooler, i.e. playing CQB in The Bunker at 10 degrees. A hotter day could also help with evaperation of sweat and moisture. Not sure how much humidity plays its part. [someone from the forum should be able to clarify the causes, I have not searched other threads]
  5. Looks nice but the ground clearance could make it interesting to get to some sites over their rutted roads and rough tracks.
  6. Yes, the fogging I had with goggles just ruined the day, at times could hardly see anything and it made playing very difficult without return trips to the safe zone to clear them. Paying £100 for a better game experience is worth it, and the protection is good.
  7. They are very good and worth the cost. The full face protection suits me for playing CQB. Quick look on Amazon and the version I purchased are now about £95 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dye-Precision-Thermal-Paintball-Goggle/dp/B00FY5NB0C/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1454513587&sr=8-16&keywords=Dye+i4. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dye-Paintball-Goggles/dp/B019XPFMC8/ref=pd_sim_sbs_200_3?ie=UTF8&dpID=51%2BBe-lkkOL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=070KMQSZ60W34PWJG8PF Edit: I do get some moisture inside the mask from sweating, so some droplets/beads of water (not fogging) appear on the thermal lens which I shake out and dry between games.
  8. Do you know whether the TM Desert Eagle magazine is compatible with the TM Mk23?
  9. Yes, not having colour co-ordinated elastic bands.
  10. Now that is Up Close And Personal; playing down in The Bunker is hardcore.
  11. Be interesting to know how 50C effects the performance.
  12. Welcome I am not as far west as the Hungerford gun club, and currently play at The Mall in Reading and UCAP Bunker in Portsmouth. There are also Iron Sight south of Andover and Combat South Woodland in Wickham, Hampshire.
  13. Are most users on their phones? I only use the forum via a PC or ipad.
  14. Protection of my teeth and lips is nearly as important as my eye protection. Found it rather painful getting shot on full auto at close range just above my mouth and across my nose; a properly fitting mesh mask is worth it. Whether you want to wear one or not is a matter of personal choice, I mainly play CQB so do not want split lips or dentist bills. I actually prefer wearing my Dye i4 mask.
  15. I bought one from eBay that was so badly built and asymetrical so that you would need to be the elephant man to make it work. No doubt with pliers and inclination it could be cut and shaped to fit, but that is too much effort.
  16. They do look a better quality than the usual crap from china. £30 better is a matter of opinion. Need a better range of colours though.
  17. Protects the jewels and lets them breathe.
  18. I feel cheated, not a Stormie in sight. Thought this was going to be Star Wars airsoft kit
  19. Are you going to do a quick review of it? It is always useful to have player experience of sites.
  20. How did you find the Absolute Airsoft site, marshals, and players? I have only read bad things about it. Have you tried The Mall yet?
  21. But is it mint, nearly new, hardly used, just has a few skirmish scrathes
  22. I actually like it as an objet d'art and could use it as a paperweight.
  23. Summer holiday booked, so getting a back up gun will have to wait a while longer

Would get a better deal in the States but hassle of bringing it back into the UK. No hurry really as the TM is going strong but feel that I ought to have a spare just in case. Good excuse to get an classic MP5.

Yea get a cqb weapon, shorter and lighter than your 416 for getting round corners quicker. Really impressed with the scar L CQC and the compatible mags is a massive bonus.

I need to be lighter and fitter to get around the corners quicker :)

  24. Concise and precise, and not a mofo in sight.
  25. I wonder if you will get the short answer or long one from Sitting Duck?
