I opted for the white 60' but not the Macron as it was out of stock.I'll find one elsewhere.I strippedI put it back together at home and the barrel clip seemed to seat better.Thanks.

I played with my Krytac ("best aeg out of the box"🙄)Trident and tbh I'm less than impressed.I fitted a TB with the hope of improving the grouping,it made little to no difference.I then had the alcohol vs hop rubber issue and decided to upgrade the rubber to Maple leaf and Omega nub.I couldn't shift the hop unit because of the hop issue and ended up breaking it.I ordered and fitted a prometheus hop unit.Unimpressed I swapped the TB for the standard barrel and played for the rest of the day.The first bb drops and then I get perhaps 5-10 nice and straight and then a wayward bb.What I noticed with the hop unit is that I had to squeeze the barrel "clip" in with pliers,I've never had to do this before. With the crap shot the gun does sound different. So-->Std barrel or 6.02 ZCI tightbore.Prometheus hop unit.Omega nub.Maple leaf rubber.Blaster 25 bbs.Any help appreciated..

UPDATE:I bought a Turbo trainer(used it twice),then an opportunity arose for me to take on a menial job with the local council="Litter operative" easy~ish work with a lot of walking involved and I'm glad to say it is doing me the world of good.Only a week in and I can definately feel an improvement in my mobility and pain.Still not good with jumping impact but that's gone and I need to work around it.And the best part is I played the Sunday (20/03) before I started the job, fearing the worst but it's all working out fine.As I suspected it was/is lack of use that was causing the mobility and pain issues. Also I discovered that perhaps footwear is part of the issue,I wore boots for 4 days them swapped to safety trainers for 1 day and the difference is great.I may wear them at my next walk-on but I need to be wary of ankle support. Thanks for all the replies and advice...

Thanks, ordered, and yes the other one is written off,proper...😏

I tried to swap my hop rubber and nub but found my barrel was welded/glued in to the hop unit,no glue was used btw.I replaced the existing hop rubber with a Guarder rubber and replaced the original barrel with a stainless T/B.When I came to change them out this morning I could not shift the barrel,it would not come out or even twist in the hop unit,I tapped it with a pair of pliers and broke it (other thread for reccomendations BTW).The only liquid or chemical that has been in there would be alcohol form cleaning the barrel,I'm guessing that naffed the hop rubber and why I didn't get the performance I expected.Damn fool...thanks.

I need reccomendations for a replacement hop unit for my Trident SPR MK2.I broke mine beyond repair hence the change.Somehow it became "glued" to the barrel and no I didn't use any glue. Not sure why but I couldn't shift it so I tapped it with a pair of pliers and smashed it to bits, there was no way I could twist it at all.I only wanted to fit a new hop rubber and nub due to inconsistency..perhaps that's part of the issue...thanks.

Got them, but not used them for a while, worth another go...

I may try squats but getting up from the ground is my biggest issue,it might be hard for me.

I understand the impact running can have and I swim like a brick but I did cycle regulary up until covid hit, about 3 or 4 days a week but regularity over distance, because I sold bikes I used to test ride them.Things pushed cycling to the back of my agenda, such as lockdown bikes sales (none for me to buy) and more importantly grandad duties.I have a lovely Cube sitting in my shed ,I keep saying to myself I must go out.As a retiree (early I may add ) I've found my self sitting on my arse too much but I am looking to get back into a job that involves leg work,I need that push to excercise more. Yes my GP about 2 1/2 years ago ,she said I'd virtually would need to crawl in before they would even consider any action and then I'd have to fill in a "lifestyle assesment form",then the same again for the other knee at a later date,it sounds a bit crap but she did explain it well and showed me the paperwork.Had Jabs--------> W🤪W,new knees for about a week, painkillers, etc.

"Par for the cause" to tightbore all AEG's I thought,LOL..It's a Krytac and grouping is the only criticism I can levy, propably now because I can see where the bb's should be going...If I can get the grouping a tad tighter all is good. The life of an airsofter is blighted with trials.....

I have the centre ones which I wear 2 or 3 days prior to playing and then the same after playing, seem to work for me but as they are a few years old I just ordered some replacements yesterday.I wear knee pads during playing for the exact same reason as you. I find the middle ones a bit uncomfortable for whole day use if i'm active,Perhaps they're worn out now),when I am recouperating they are spot on.
-
It took about 5-7 clicks L-R to zero them, just lucky with that I guess.Opting for a tightbore now because I can see how the bb's are wandering off and I'd like to improve the grouping.
-
Sights fitted and used yesterday, game changer IMO,well for me.BB's actually go where you want without having to guess, less bb's used and a lot more semi-auto.I've never used sights before. No guaging shot give away,Just wait for players to stick their's bod's out or fill a hole....great..LOL.

Just in case anyone is interested or still reading..I tried some alternative knee supports with metal "hinges",God they were uncomfortable and the velcro was irritating. So I played yesterday and I slowed down a tad, today recovery seems better, then as agreed it's all about management because they are never going to get better. Thanks for all the advice.

Looking at multi-chargers atm,but as I said it's not a bigeee, just trying to get efficent..oh no I'm an airsofter..forget that..😊 Thanks for the helpful advice all...

@concretesnailthnaks,Just Googled it no good for me.But just in case if anyone else is curious you can only charge batteries of the same cell count(obvious) but also same capacity.I use 3 different battery sizes so no good.I'll look for an alternative, thanks.
-
Is it worth investing in one of these?Any info or feedback is welcomed. How do you know when one battery is charged/balanced?Using with an Imax B6.Charging 4-6 batteries atm.If not worth it it's no biggeee,I never leave them unattended but they take time...Thanks.

You know ED..see you soon I hope....

Thanks for all the advice,I opted for option 1 as there was no real reason not too,I was looking for massive negatives as well.

Hydrating is an issue as you get older,I am a piss machine,I would constantly be in the bog/bushes.I get up early hours to piss,3 am usually when I should be asleep. I'm pretty active and 3 days prior to playing and days after I wear neoprene knee supports, they do ease the pain.I must get back on my bike asap. It's all about management I guess, thanks for all the advice I'll read up on programmes and treatments.🙂.

Not sure where to post this or even to post at all,but it is related to "our" sport and again I'm asking for advice.I'm getting on now (I'm older than some forests) and am suffering heavily with arthritis in both knees,it relates from a well spent childhood,mx,etc. What I'd like to know is if anyone has any miracle cure or aid.I wear knee pads when I play and take a herbal remedy (as advised by another player) also I am currently trying DMSO.I did cycle regularly but haven't recently, that could be a contributing factor. So I can survive the day 1 or even 2 times a month but I suffer heavily afterwards taking upto 5 days to recover up until that time I walk like a cripple, getting up from floor level is embarrassing. When I get home I need to sort my kit immediatley before I sit down and seize up.I give it my all when I play because I intend to enjoy every time I play,my body says slow down but my mind says crack on.I could slow down but my style of play is aggressive at the front,I can't hang back.I appreciate any advice and thanks for reading.

Thanks,I've used them on air rifles years ago,but with lower face pro I'm guessing I'll need riser rail.
-
I'm looking to add red dot sights to my Krytac but am unsure which ones.I guess it's personal choice but any advice or mild banter would be appreciated.I've had some on other AEG's but never used them,as I'm getting older/slower I need to change something. From what I understand I have 3 choices as pictured,I like the first Tubular reflex with the high rise rail built in so if it comes down to personal choice it will be them.Any reasons to discount them and re-consider the others appreciated.Thanks.
