Are there any upgrades required on the Trident SPR MK2?Used it once seems ok,just wondering as "we" do.I know the barrel is generously sized so I was thinking tightbore and hop rubber.Not necessary but as an airsofter "must upgrade"..?

Hi could any Krytac Tridenr SPR mkII owners or users tell what is the biggest battery I can get to fit in the stock,Currently running 2200 crane but it may need replacing soon...thanks.

Picked up 2 today from https://www.surplusstore.co.uk/,they have a healthy stock if you need 1 or 2.

It's the only site I've been to that doesn't chrono all guns. Unfortunately there is a lot of hate for the site owner due to his habit of taking money for goods and not supplying them.

Damn you, you're making me defend them...?...they are the only site I've been to that uses barrel socks.I can only relate what I've experienced.Would I tell anyone else to visit there?Not without warnings regarding the chrono especially and as advised there are definately a few regulars who abuse the lack of chrono.I have pressed them about the lack of chrono use at every opportunity,but saying that I haven't been for quite a while. The reason people play there is the same reason they buy kit off of him.......cheap.

He didn't have a mag in,apparently he had one on the chamber,obviously he didn't fire off after removing his mag.I never said they were totaly blameless but they give direction where required,the last few times we went they definately checked mags were removed from guns in the way back into the safe zone.I will admit when I've played there I usually face into netting with my back to other players at the start of the day until I familiarize myself with the crowd,it does put you on edge when people dry fire in the safe zone,even if marshalls react the damage could already be done.Of course marshalling was an issue there again as mentioned previously.

He lost his eye because he and his mate were fucking about with no eye-pro on.I'm not defending the site but this wasn't their fault.The father tried to take legal action apparently until they discovered what they'd been doing.Poor fucker but "WE" are also responsible for safety,everyones safety. Most of the negative comments are rightly deserved and witnessed by enough people.The chronoing really gets me,surely they "should" be chronoing,doesn't an overpowered rif become illeagal? and therfore render the site liable for prosecution in the event of an injury.

I've seen 1 lipo battery spark up when somebody had wired it wrong,luckily it was over a chrono/firing range but it went up well.Seen many bloated batteries but also heard the owners saying "nah it still charges ok" ffs...that includes my tight arse brother,I think I persuaded him to dump them.Mine are kept in my shed at the end of the garden with my fat RC batteries and bike batteries,charged in a bag in there or in the kitchen depending on what I'm doing,always supervised.Education towards proper management is the key IMO.Not directed at anyone in anyway,alas my nephew is about to start playing,I might push hom away from Lipos,it's not something you can rush into.

The issue then becomes which chrono?My ICS will chrono on my Xcortech @310 fps but at a site I visit their Nuprol shows @ 285 fps.

Indeed,I've been using this site for many years,this is the worst I've seen.It demoralised players and there was an air of tension.Is it the rise of the COD players?

That was rather an annoying day to say the least.A certain group of players would shoot in your direction then start screamimng "take your hits"," check yourself".Never seen it happen before and they did it to everyone they pointed at.It puts an idea in other players heads that perhaps you're not taking your hits.Marshalls need to quell this type of action before it kills the game,day or even the sites reputation.

I wasted about a mag(hi cap) on a "teflon terrorist"(rental) yesterday.I took out everyone around him,he flinched when I suprised him from behind at distance,he then moved tyres to hide behind and guess what...he was one of the last ones in.It was a warning of things to come as he was involved in near fisticuffs at the end of the day..closest I've seen to phsyical contact,I advised the marshall to step in,it's not needed at any site.

Played all the above (with ED..o),Absolute has it's positives and negatives,same as anywhere. Pros.=Big fields.Mixed scenarios.Barrel socks.cheap with lunch included.Good marshalling.Friendly atmosphere.Cheap kit/guns. Cons.=No strict chronoing in place.Large player numbers.Lots of walking..(I'm old and knackered). Go make your own mind up but be safe.
