  1. He hasn't taken the bait so we shall carry it over to Sunday... something to occupy his time when he gets back from The Mall. Just bought two patches as well.
  2. I see we've started a Jeremy Kyle section to the forum...
  3. The Mall in Reading every other Thursday night. 30 mins from London Paddington to Reading by train and the site is right next to the station.
  4. Thanks Qlimax. Yes, I have watched quite a few install vids and the one thing that was stressed the most was alignment. How do you manage with air usage? Can one tank last an entire Sunday?
  5. How difficult / easy is it to get a hold of a decent donor rifle? Are there any particular rifles I should stay away from?
  6. Thanks Qlimax. Was asking about the P* Jack setup. I will have a look at Beesting's website now.
  7. I'm very interested in this as well. I've got a spare few hundred quid that I was going to splurged on my TM HK416 but after doing some research and getting advice it seems I'm better off only spending a small amount upgrading my 416. That being said I've been wanting a dedicated outdoor rifle and the P* Jack is looking mighty tempting. How much am I looking at for a full set up with a ball park figure for the donor rifle?
  8. Wow... thought there would have been quite a few on the forum who would have already tried upgrading their TM Recoils.
  9. Always wanted to see a thread with all the upgraded TM Next Gen stuff owned by forum members. Would be interesting to see who has done what to their Next Gens and how you have benefitted from the upgrades. So, who in the forum has TM Next Gen Recoil rifles that have been massively upgraded/modified? Please list upgrades, which ones have had the greatest impacts on performance, which ones you could have done without and which ones you believe are essential to getting the best out of a Next Gen rifle? :-)
  10. Find a Tokyo Marui model on sale... spend the little extra and get a good pistol you don't have to worry about. Buy properly, especially if you are going to only own one pistol for the foreseeable future.
  11. That's pretty much the same version I got from my mate.
  12. I still haven't been yet but my mates say it is a bit small and there were very little rules when they went so fps and bb weight was out of hand. I'm sure they have sorted things out by now though... hopefully.
  13. If you ever need TM spare parts check out Eagle6 Airsoft.
  14. I have the TM tracer on mine... love it. It does add length but ditch the 4" barrel extension and you will be fine. It won't be too long for The Mall but smaller places like Bunker 51 etc, will be an issue. You will need a 1" extension if you ditch the 4" barrel because of clearance. Madbull makes a good one which is counter clockwise to counter clockwise. BBs are more expensive but not massively. Blaster make a good tracer round that is sold at almost every airsoft shop in the UK.
  15. Welcome to the club! It will not disappoint. +1 on the lipo conversion. Reliability, accuracy and quality is far better than higher FPS. A 416 is more of a CQB rifle anyway so will only be able to upgrade 30 more FPS which isnt very difficult. If you do want to upgrade internally have a well known tech do it for you. I suggest you use it for atleast a good 5+ skirmishes as stock and decide what you would like improve from there. Treat it good and keep it clean... it will not let you down.
  16. Well if I go Sunday I will let you all know what it's like.
  17. Yeah... just found out today that it's £30 walk on for a 2pm to 6pm skirmish. Still debating whether or not to go Sunday. I understand London is expensive but if it was for 6 hours instead of 4 then the price would be justifiable.
  18. Has anyone tried out this new site? If you have what was your experience?
