I don't use NiMH, just storing a mate's gear who just got into airsoft. He used the battery today and I want to know the best way to store the battery?

In what state should NiMH batteries be stored, charged or discharged? If discharged, to what voltage for an 8 cell 9.6V?

Fair enough. I have my selected shops I purchase supplies from already so not looking for another supplier. Dealt with the muck of paintball paint from Bunker 51 for several months so I should be ok. Hopefully the marshalling is decent this Sunday though. Need a bit of a break from The Mall as it's becoming too much of the same for me... gotta mix it up a bit.

Have you tried out or do you frequent Absolute Airsoft Reading? Will be my first skirmish there this Sunday. Any of heading out?

Yeah, I've been split up before too. Last Thursday was so one sided though that I guess it made me think otherwise. Thursday nights have far less players than Sundays so the odds that it could end up beign unbalanced is greater I reckon.

Its just me then. Human nature to think up conspiracy theories when you're getting your ass kicked. :-)

I find a lot of it depends on what weapons you're using. Military tactics seldomly work in cqb. You tend to find your own niche after several skirmishes. I just go with the flow really... as long as you're having fun nothing else matters.

I was beginning to wonder. The few times I've been on the orange team I always seem to be surrounded by first timers. I mostly go on Thursday nights though... not sure if that makes any difference.

Does anyone else notice that regulars at the Mall tend to be on the green team... or is it just me?

Have you asked Eagle6 about a special order? May cost you an arm and a leg but if you really need the part and cannot source it anywhere else? Saying that, TM may still require the minimum quantity for the order.

Couple of people I know are going to Absolute in Reading, not sure if I will make it though. There is always The Mall in Reading unless that's what you meant by "the gaol".

Its good fun and usually not as crowded as Sundays. Plus giving up a Thursday night isn't asking as much as giving up a Sunday.

I should be there next Thursday night the 16th.

Sure wouldn't have that problem with the real thing! I have the WE version and it's fine while out in the sun but has to be turned all the way up.
