  1. Wolf is straight forward. Print off a UKARA form before your first skirmish and have Eric sign the back of it after each skirmish... that way when your 2 months is up they can process your application quicker by having the verified dates on back of it. Follow up with an email to Wolf a week or two after you give in your application if you haven't heard anything from UKARA by then. Bunker51 is small but can be quite fun at times as its a full on shooting fest. There are some really good regulars and if you need anyone to show you the ropes, Colin and Luvern are your go to people. Sadly I won't be going back after my car accident unless its in someone else's car and they are driving but you can tell Colin and Luvern I sent you to them.
  2. Really wish you did! I would have done that instead of Bunker51 on Saturday... it would have spared me some f^*khead wrecking my car. I'm officially done with Bunker51 after that. Always hated having to drive through south london to get there. Sorry if anyone on here is offended but south london is like another planet.
  3. No PM received on this one but let me know for the future. I may be going on the 12th but having car issues at the moment... some twat taxi driver ran a red light and smashed my car in Woolwich after leaving Bunker 51 Saturday night. Haven't been in the best of moods since.
  4. You lot should be ashamed of yourselves!! Lol
  5. Cheers. Thought as much but worth asking.
  6. ...assuming the regular Spectre can fit in the gearbox of a TM recoil.
  7. Ok, so I am patiently awaiting restock of the BTC V2 Spectre mosfet for TM Next-Gen AEGs. Sources say atleast a few more months, however, I may be able to get my hands on a regular V2 Spectre this week and I'm looking for some advice. Hopefully someone on here has used/fitted the regular V2 Spectre with a TM recoil and can give some advice on it versus the Next-Gen purpose built one? Is it worth me waiting the extra few months or will the regular variant work just as well? This is for a TM HK416.
  8. Haha. I only ask because you were going to be the last person I asked about AFUK but couldn't bother after being unsuccessful the three previous times... persumingly that was in fact you.
  9. Lol. I was in the smaller safe zone room right infront the marshals office... khaki trousers, black top, tan chest rig, tan cap, TM HK416, black pistol leg rig, black mesh full face mask and Bolle X1000 goggles... on the yellow team.
  10. Definitely the best marshalling I've come across. Especially from Luke.
  11. Kurtz... writing a book are ya?! Lol I tried to spot you guys but after asking three sets of players if they were on AFUK and being looked at like I was crazy I decided to give up. It wasn't the best of nights for me. Had a few not take hits and one dude shooting me from a small gap behind meshing in the basement. Broke my torch, lost a TM recoil mag (was found later though), then lost bottom plate of my pistol mag. There were definitley a few greens not taking hits, whether they felt the hits or not is another question but I could see my glowing bbs bouncing off of them. I shot one about 4 times while he was running across to a pillar and I was sure he was going to call it so I stayed were I was... he popped from behind the pillar and started shooting me. I was like wtf? I was only 20 feet away from him at the most and thought that was just ridiculous so had a few choice words... couldn't help myself but it is a game purely based on honesty. No need for it, unless he honestly didn't feel it.
  12. Will keep an eye out for you and Kurtz. Trying to get there early for once... need to adjust my hop up.
  13. Originally heard about it back in the '90s but thought it was just for target shooting and as a man's office toy. Afterwards heard about events etc throughout the years but never seriously considered it until I kept seeing youtube videos of these Scottish blokes shooting eachother in the woods... then I thought hmmm. Spoke to a couple of skirmishers I met, visited Wolf Armouries in London last year and the rest is history.
  14. Sounds good! And a testament that video games can be a benefit to airsoft in more than one way.
  15. I downloaded Arma 3 the other day... it was 35% for the extended edition on Steam so I couldn't help myself. @Lozart, the PC runs it fine. Haven't fiddled with any of the settings yet but the GPU seems to be handling it well and it's pushing a 4K monitor. Still in training, getting use to the controls but liking it so far. Again, it seems like a really good platform for milsimers to practice/train. @BrightCandle, think you are on to something with using it to prep for milsims.
  16. I can see where Arma can be very helpful to milsim airsofters or those looking to get into milsim. Games like that are definitely a benefit.
  17. You are probably right. My experience with guns was before video games so my way of looking at upgrades would more than likely be different from someone influenced by FPS. Sometimes we forget how educating these FPS games can be regarding firearms and customising them.
  18. Don't think so... Airsoft upgrades are essential is some aspects.
  19. What would be a good graphics card for it then?
  20. Ok. I've played Flashpoint. I've mostly been into console games though. My wife's PC should be able to run this no problem. It's 5th gen i7 CPU, 256GB SSD with two 2TB HDD's, 16GB RAM and a Sapphire Radeon R9 270X GPU. Will those specs run it ok? Her PC is for photo editing.
  21. Don't take the mick out of me but I seriously never heard of Arma before this post... I just watched a couple of youtube videos and it is epic! I have to have it! I can't believe it's been around for years and I had no clue! Seriously... what else have I been missing??
