  1. I've always liked the look of the S10 respirator but thought it was impractical for airsoft. I'm putting together another loadout and think the S10 would complement it. I have never tried one on nor know anyone who uses one for airsoft and would like to hear some first hand experiences. My questions would be is it sweaty and do the lenses fog easily? Can I run it without a filter box and is it possible to drill small breathing holes in the front? Also, what is the field of vision like? (I currently use Bolle X1000 goggles) *I already know about the need for ballistic lense replacements. Thanks in advance
  2. Lol... proper derailment that is!
  3. Nice. I grew up in Florida, lived in NY, NJ and briefly in Louisiana.
  4. Yeah... the only down side. The silver lining though, is you have an excuse to buy another back up while you wait :-). Jokes aside, he has been making diy help videos to encourage others to do the teching themselves. Help to cut back on his work load. Turn around times can be a bit ridiculous.
  5. It was just an example but it can be used with Honda just the same. Anyone is free to use who they want. I'm sure there are other techs out there that are just as good or better. For me it's KOA... for now at least. I don't know of anyone else who has a track record with TMs like they do in the UK.
  6. All retail outfits will have horror stories of some sorts but some are far better than the average. If I'm going to spend my money it will be with the shop that's far better than average. If someone else wants to use a half decent tech then by all means... Upgrading an AEG, regardless of brand, isn't rocket science I agree but experience plays a big role in the outcome. KOA has tons more experience than I do and I know quite a few people who have used them just as much as I know quite a few people who have used other shops. IMO KOA is the place to go for TM upgrades as they know the brand extremely well, have a very good reputation with TM upgrades and have strong ties with TM part suppliers like Eagle6 which makes the process a lot smoother. If you are going to modify your BMW sports car would you prefer any half decent race shop or would you prefer one that specialises in BMWs and has a long track record of successfuly modifying BMWs?
  7. Kingdom of Airsoft. End of. Or do it yourself.
  8. Could be.... it was at the Mall where I saw them.
  9. Could be but I've seen other Marui units in action and they are pretty much the same as mine. Maybe the brighter units I've seen are Xcortech?
  10. The internal light source. I've seen higher charged tracer rounds from other tracer units (with same ammo type).
  11. Going to give this a try. The Marui one is definitely under powered.
  12. I've used Madbull but noticed no difference from the Blasters. More expensive as well... they do have different colour options though.
  13. Yeah... exactly what he just said! ^^^
  14. Try unscrewing the flash hider you idiot.
  15. Very true Eso. Everyone slates Bunker51 but I loved it when I use to go.
  16. I think many who have been there more than once will disagree with your opinion. I trust the Mall marshals more than I do the ones at any other site I've been to... and agree that they tend to be more harsh on the regulars vs new comers.
  17. @Daniel248, you are getting some really good advice above. Fire-Support techs are usually top notch so you should be fine. All you really need for what you've mentioned is m100 spring and maybe changing your bucking. I wouldn't swap any spring unless it was for an Eagle6. As long as you are using it for mainly CQB you will not need to change the barrel either. At CQB distances you will not notice any improvements from the stock barrel. An Eagle6 m100 spring should get you 330fps without changing the barrel. Take the barrel money and spend it on a mosfet or having the bushings and shims upgraded. My suggestions: Eagle6 M100 spring Prometheus Purple Bucking Bushings & Shims upgrade Mosfet - BTC Spectre or Airlab You could spend a lot more money on upgrades but will see the most significant improvements from stock with the above.
  18. Like all things you get what you pay for. I tend to go midrange as I want something that will last but I do realise I am shooting people with and getting shot with plastic BBs. Unless you are spending 4+ days out in the woods milsim-ing you don't really need anything military grade. Be comfortable, be quick and be happy. That is what airsoft gear should be about.
