  1. Not with a Madbull barrel - they scratch up something fierce if it's the aluminium kind. Also their buckings are a little bit meh.

Also I think the consensus is that the AA unit is better than the Airsoft Pro one, but the AP one is better than stock so there's that.

Its a steel barrel and its a maple leaf hop bucking. I was only joking about the vsr part. I thought all the dragunov stuff would have gave it away. I've not read anything bad about airsoft pro hop ups anyway.

  2. I bought tons the day.

    airsoftpro upgrade hop unit

    Madbull 590mm 6.03 inner

    75 madbull bucking

    Upgrade steel piston catch

    Upgrade barrel mount

    Side mount

    Gen 3 reinforced piston

    SVD steel bipod

    Top arms. .4s

    SVD extended cocking handle

    And a scope

Will that make my vsr good?

Also thinking of a ghillie suit what's people's opinions on them?

  3.

doing the 100 mile refill test, 34.8mpg, however recently found out that it's a grey import so parts, rather ironically, are much harder to find, even though the actual engine is much better than the 2.5TDI (unfortunately we had some tainted diesel which congealed and has damaged the fuel pump, having to import a new one from south africa), but as long as you don't intend on using crappy fuel, it's an awesome truck, cruises happily at 80mph so 70 is smooth sailing, it'd be nice to have cruise control though as my other half doesn't like how heavy all the pedals are.

Is that mainly motorway driving or a mix? I was expecting 20ish mpg.

  4. New rides, kind of had a couple of good deals come up that I couldn't pass up, nissan is fully insured and taxed and on the road, really good vehicle that I can highly recommend. Jaguar is kind of my "Cruiser", absolutely love driving her, just terrified of taking her along country lanes.

What kind of mpg you getting with the Nissan? I want one.

  5. My mate has one it's very well built. It's a bit of a pain putting a battery in and finding mid caps was a hard at the time. Dunno if anywhere has them in stock in the UK now but he got his from Romania or Bulgaria. I've had a shot of it and IMO the trigger feels sharp around the side but apart from that it's excellent. His fires around 290fps but has great range out the box. He's had his just over a year and never had a problem with internals as far as I'm aware.

    You should buy it.

  6. With all the inferences you've chosen to include, not sure he's the only idiot; you've called him an idiot after including at least two "facts" which you've 'made up'. For shame.

I agree, ultimately the fault is with the guns owner if the person that picked up the gun was not legally an adult.

What facts did I make up?

The guy said in his post he left a mag in. He also let someone pick his gun up pull the bolt and aim it.

  7. If someone got hurt the blame is on YOU. It's your weapon you have to clear it and make it safe. You failed to do that. You then watched someone pick your gun up aim it then pull the trigger then decided to take it off him. It's not a error leaving a mag in and letting someone pick it up and aim it.

In short your a fucking idiot.

  8. As said in the other thread: NAE is more of an airsoft meet-up with shops and camping than properly organised games. Don't go down if you're looking for gameplay, but do if you're interested in the social bit.

Ah I thought it was a 3 day game but with a few stalls etc.

  9. I for one am glad Facebook are starting to ban sales on there, the way theyve gone about it is shite like but glad none the less. I found on Facebook theres far more scam artist on their than the forums. Although forums arent free of them I personally think there seems to be less.

The scams will just come on here and the quality of the site will go down if there is a minimum post count.

  10.

Once I work out how to take a decent self portrait with my SLR camera, due to lens shake when my arms are outstretched, have sent off the 35mm film to get it developed by Kodak, then selected the best 6x4 photograph, I will need some advice on how to scan it into my computer and attach it to a post. Maybe that is why we never took selfies... much better to snap other people, and there were some great polaroids in magazines ;)

Escort was the best magazine for polariods :D

  11. What about all the people on here who dress up in all their gear and then take selfies?

I personally think thats sadder than Facebook selfies. I have never not even once put all my kit on at home let alone felt the need to take a picture.

Why do so many people think the world needs another picture of a geeky 18yr old or a fat 40yr old stood in their lounge wearing pretend army clothes?

I did do one gun pic but that was a bit of a joke about the fact I ran round the meet up armed with a squeaky pig and party poppers. Even that made me feel a bit of a saddo.

Give everybody a hint if you look like where's wally or a fat bearded dungeon and dragons player putting on camo really doesn't help.

    Lets ban all selfies.

One of the airsoft pages I'm on has tons of photos on a Friday night/ Saturday saying ready for Sunday and they are fully dressed in camo Inc eye pro :D. I enjoy the game but I don't want people I work with such as managers knowing I dress as action man and jump about the woods with a toy gun. They wouldnt let me out the secure unit.
