A bit of a tm binge for me: NGRS URGI PTS EPM X6 Magpul M Lok handstop TM Detonics .45 I must admit i fall into the finding NGRS "recoil" gimmicky faction but i cannot deny its out of the box performance! The two things that i am surprised/disappointed by are the lack of guiselle markings on the rail system and the lack of resistance on the bolt release. The Detonics is actually surprisingly good for the first few shots given its diminutive barrel length but after the first 5/6 rounds that quickly drops off due to the tiny magazines miniscule gas capacity but its good fun none the less and lets face it this isnt a RIF that you purchase for its effectiveness in a skirmish. These are my first modern TM purchases and i must say I'm impressed, they perform excellently out of the box and feel great in the hand. The plastics are excellent and nothing like the cheap rattly plastics of old.

No its more a case of politeness that if youve ended up with a massive close up of someones face that you intend to use then be nice and check with them first

Its worth noting that players haven't given you consent to be filmed so if its for personal use like watching back with your mates and some beers it's not likely to be an issue however some people (myself included) will get narky if they find there face in a video online without giving prior consent. If people are geared up its usually okay as people are hard to recognise with full face pro but just be mindful that some people are less comfortable with having there likeness plastered on the Internet than others. Other than that this is an activity we all do for enjoyment so if this increases your enjoyment then thats all that matters! And hey if you enjoy or want to learn editing then thats even better so why not chuck it on YouTube or wherever so you can enjoy and document your own work and track your growth as an editor, just dont be a dick and spam everyone with links to it willy nilly.

Cheers all, sounds like my expectations are spot on. I was in the cadets and have done my fair share of night exs so I'm not going in a complete novice and am familiar with stumbling atound in the dark not doing much. Seems like it will be very much a case of getting out of it what i take in, i expect to get lost, fall over a few times and have a laugh I'm not in it for leet stealth kills. Although I'm also expecting to get fed up and take off half an hour in ad getting picked off by people i cant see that are using nods is unlikely to be my idea of a good time!

Howdy all! Ive got my first night game coming up this weekend, ive got my torches mounted and batteries charged but have no idea what I'm in for.... Has anybody got any tips, tricks or experiences they'd like to share with a first time night skirmisher?

L119a2 is mostly done. Fake rsa with trades is on route. Im adding the reciever finishes and trades next month and ill strip and repaint it then. A friend is milling me a replacement rear reciever pin.

I have no personal experience with one but from negative airsofts review of the it seems like the VFC HK45 CT may be exactly what you're after. Otherwise if you can find one then the KWA G19 is an amazing piece of kit and generally extremely cheap second hand, i do have the KWA and stock it is decent but not amazing however there is a hop upgrade available for it that makes it significantly better at not much extra cost its called the maple leaf evo 3 and it makes a huge difference.

Have you actually tried there m4s? They are very good these days. At you budget you might be able to pick up an e&c and given the best specnas were oemd by them that tells you something of their quality compared to specna.

Try a few different weights and see what works best with the gun pal. .28 shouldn't be a problem for any modern non budget aeg though, except for TM who can hop a .28 but just sling .25s like nobodys business.

I have a double eagle one and i couldn't skirmish it for a whole event as my stick man arms couldn't handle that level of abuse. Honestly give a tri shot springer a go before you buy, a couple of my mates couldnt even pump mine! Those golden eagle gas shotguns are fantastic and a rediculous bargain, i should have got one of those instead of my springer as it would actually get used.

First attempt at kryptek, im pretty happy with it given it was my first time using stencils and only my second time using spray paint. I will put the internals back in it eventually, i just need my hex wrench set to hurry up and ship!

I tried angling forward but at that point its basically just a less ergonomic grip stop, i think I'm going to have to field it a few times to get the feel for it as I'm trying to grip it the same way as the rvg and i think i need to have more contact with the grip then i did with the RVG. Its just less immediately comfortable. They are designed to be used either way round but almost every in the wild image I've seen of them they have it angled the same way as me

BCM foregrip, after trying it ive come to the conclusion that the RVG is better in every way. It locks in a way that plays better with other rail covers (with the bcm and certain rail covers like the xtms there has to be a gap between them). The notches in the rvg make it a more comfortable hand stop. The RVG is grippier. The RVG is far superior to grab like a KAC. When grabbing the rifle the profile of the rvg makes it easier to get a consistent grip due to the notches and shape of it. All of this is just IMHO of course.

If you're going to DMR then make sure your gearbox is radiused and grab a well lock bracer to offset some of the extra strain you are putting the front of your gearbox under. Both of these things are cheap and easy to do and will increase the life of your gearbox.

Then dont get an M4, these days there is a massive variety out there you are no longer just limited to ar or ak pattern rifles. Cyma make g3s, galils, mp5s, m14s, g36 and p90s. There are loads of scar, f2000, l85, tar 21, masadas, famas and umps out there too and thats just from looking at 3 manufacturers.
