Helmet Cam For Personal Use, Does It Make Me A Nobber?

No its more a case of politeness that if youve ended up with a massive close up of someones face that you intend to use then be nice and check with them first -
Helmet Cam For Personal Use, Does It Make Me A Nobber?
Mad-Al replied to Fatboy40's topic in General Discussion
Its worth noting that players haven't given you consent to be filmed so if its for personal use like watching back with your mates and some beers it's not likely to be an issue however some people (myself included) will get narky if they find there face in a video online without giving prior consent. If people are geared up its usually okay as people are hard to recognise with full face pro but just be mindful that some people are less comfortable with having there likeness plastered on the Internet than others. Other than that this is an activity we all do for enjoyment so if this increases your enjoyment then thats all that matters! And hey if you enjoy or want to learn editing then thats even better so why not chuck it on YouTube or wherever so you can enjoy and document your own work and track your growth as an editor, just dont be a dick and spam everyone with links to it willy nilly. -

Not exactly bought but i just won this: Lct hk53, pictured here with ARMS mount, vector frenzy and a nato 3 point sling Oh and of course the obligatory family photo -
Cheers all, sounds like my expectations are spot on. I was in the cadets and have done my fair share of night exs so I'm not going in a complete novice and am familiar with stumbling atound in the dark not doing much. Seems like it will be very much a case of getting out of it what i take in, i expect to get lost, fall over a few times and have a laugh I'm not in it for leet stealth kills. Although I'm also expecting to get fed up and take off half an hour in ad getting picked off by people i cant see that are using nods is unlikely to be my idea of a good time!

Airtac cap firing grenade, i want a bfg but need to be sure I'll actually use it before i make that investment so this seemed a reasonable stop-gap. Also i forgot to post this one, WAS universal holster that i have "persuaded" to work with the safariland QLS -

I tried angling forward but at that point its basically just a less ergonomic grip stop, i think I'm going to have to field it a few times to get the feel for it as I'm trying to grip it the same way as the rvg and i think i need to have more contact with the grip then i did with the RVG. Its just less immediately comfortable. They are designed to be used either way round but almost every in the wild image I've seen of them they have it angled the same way as me -

BCM foregrip, after trying it ive come to the conclusion that the RVG is better in every way. It locks in a way that plays better with other rail covers (with the bcm and certain rail covers like the xtms there has to be a gap between them). The notches in the rvg make it a more comfortable hand stop. The RVG is grippier. The RVG is far superior to grab like a KAC. When grabbing the rifle the profile of the rvg makes it easier to get a consistent grip due to the notches and shape of it. All of this is just IMHO of course. -
What Have You Learned About Airsoft Recently?

First attempt went catastrophically, i showed up at my team mates house with a bag of bits and he talked me through it while i did the work. -

I have learned how to shim and rebuild a v2 gearbox! I feel this was long overdue as it was half the point behind me buying my cyma. -

Follow up, turns out i was turning the hop wheel the wrong way and actually this thing takes .28s just fine. RTFM issue. -

TM USP compact, its awesome but struggles with .28s so mr.hop 60 degree and a crazy jet barrel are on the way for it. -
Trigger/war crime warning. External: Tm g18c Detonator cobra slide Detonator tti sights Ready fight sti trigger Bomber TTI style magwell Gaurder extended mag release Gaurder extended slide release Bomber TTI striker plate 1x floyds extended mag 1x bomber tti extended mag Internal: Gaurder lightweight bbu Crazyjet hop and barrel assembly guns modify barrel stabiliser guns modify hammer spring Not going to lie the magwell is huge and looks rediculous, i thought it was going to be tti carry spec but it turned out to be lightning which is frankly just silly. If you need one of these to reload properly then you really need to sort out your hand eye coordination.... Overall happy with the build, it performs great and handles excellently i just wish i had of skipped the tti mags and got more floys ones as they look and feel alot better and are easier to manipulate and i will be on the lookout for a tti carry style magwell to replace this one with. The bomber mag bases take the mick abit as they dont include longer or tougher spring unlike the floyds one. The Detonator slide was absolute hell to fit and required modification to the slide to take the Detonator sights and modification to the bbu to get the ejector to stay in place. The aim of this build was to have a backup primary for when i use my dmr and in that it succeeded, it out ranges my cyma and my mates ngrs 416s and is very easy to manipulate and use in the field. Im also very happy with how it looks as a modern take on the cobra g18 even if i do dislike the magwell.... Oh i missed in the list of parts: My techs's blood My tech's sweat My techs's tears Wrath of satan Every swear word in the english language And all of that was just from getting the slide installed and behaving.

Absolutely! This is why i like boom arms, they dont claim to have a quick turnaround but they deliver and are completely honest.
-
Yeah I'm having long waiting times from them at the moment, but at least despite the delays i always get what i order with them. Even if i strongly disagree with there practice of listing things as in stock when they aren't. But these arse holes are deliberately mis selling goods and selling off used bstock. And on top of that they blatantly lie through there teeth and are just generally incompetent.
-
I wasnt mad at the delivery time as it was via surface mail which can take up to 6 months but over 3 weeks just to post the stuff should have been a good enough warning sign

I think thats a really good idea or a feedback system like we have for our classifieds
