    I mean yeah, there's always one arsehole I guess. Maybe I'm lucky that sites I play at have 90% decent players who take the rules seriously. Cos fundamentally whether someone calls a hit in this game is based on trust. I've watched plenty of players cheat my hits, even after I've made them flinch and shout about it hurting. There's tonnes of ways to cheat in this hobby but it feels like taking roids for Sunday league football at a certain point lmao. If someone is gaming an extra half joule by using heavier BBs and risking being outed as a cheater for it, it's just pathetic innit.

    like i said rock ape , someone who knows chrono ,joules,fps and bb weight , pretty integral part of the hobby so they should know , the example you gave is a good example of what not to do and should not happen that would also time to bring out the scales I've been to sites that handle between 80/100 players regularly and have no trouble with chrono , and people cheating the chrono are caught pretty quick and are removed before lunch , i dunno what the insistence is with not have better chrono practices

    256x192 is something I would avoid. Bare minimum should be 384x288, nowadays they can be obtained for not THAT much coin. Drop the wifi, range finder and bullet drop bollocks, change the base magnification to 2x instead of 3.56x, have the thing use an ACOG mount instead of the weird ass rail most thermals come with, include a glass protector of some sort. Even if the overall price rises to 1k, it's still going to be competitive.

    G&G Cm16 with a few upgrades that does semi on full auto. This isn't intentional. It used to do full auto and did for a moment when I tested it but it looks like the selector plate needs replacing or looking at. This is kind of a bits box build. The intention was to make a lightweight m4 that was good power and accurate. It's quite long and is all polymer so weight 2.2kg. I really like it but I like other guns more so this one is having to go. Its got a king arms club foot stick. There's no end cap for the stock so the battery is just in there loose. I squeeze a small bit of sponge in there to stop the battery from falling out. It's a cm16 v1 polymer lower with a combat machine v2 upper with a g&g m-lok handguard. G&G gearbox. It has a generic silencer and generic red dot. It has a 500mm (approx) madbul tightbore barrel, maple leaf macaron hop rubber and g&g hop unit. It comes with a d boys high cap that I've checked feeds fine. It shoots well at approx 325fps on 0.2g bbs. You need a valid defence to buy this please. I'm after £100 plus £10 postage for rifle mag and red dot.

    It would be even handier if the ape says "I hope you're not using more than 0.3g, mate, or you'll have to put it back in the bag", so that the player can just nod and confirm "Yeah, mate, yeah, I'm using whatever you just said" without even having to make up a weight themselves. The reality is that measing velocity, but not mass, is like proving a car is efficient by providing fuel receipts, then saying "Trust me bro" about the taped-over odometer.

    That “rock ape” is possibly having to chrono 100+ players, many of whom have more than one gun to chrono. Having done that job at two different sites, you have to take some of what you are told on trust and assume that players have not dialed the hop up as far as it will go, which does leave the process open to abuse. However, the key point is that the vast majority of sites only look at the velocity limit for the declared weight. Random in game sampling including weighing of BBs is possibly the best approach and certainly provides a deterrent, especially when the penalty is to be sent home. One of the things that I really like about AP is that they stick to what they say in the briefing. Unlike so many sites, they do not hesitate to send people home if they ignore warnings about hit taking, MED abuse and other poor behaviour.

    Hello, Looking for a replacement backstrap for my Umarex/KWA HK45 pistol, specifically in black (not the tan version). Pretty sure most of these pistols come stock with multiple backstraps, but my current ones broken and I cant find my spare 😕 Also, unsure if either the TM or RS backstraps would work on the Umarex/KWA version or not 🤔 any info on this would also be helpful.     Asg Aug (it's a trademarked JG Aug) suffering from low fps shooting at 260fps on 0.2g bbs. It's missing the button to remove the barrel but you can still operate this with a screwdriver. It's also missing the fake silver gas block end and it has an incorrect flash hider. The foregrip is also wobbly. Externally it's pretty good but the barrel has some wear on it. The optics are good and it shoots on semi and full fine. It's just low fps. It has a new maple leaf macaron hop rubber and hard nub. It comes with 3x midcaps and 1x high cap. I do think this is a fixable RIF, if you can just get the fps up you'll be fine. You need a valid defence to buy this please. I'm after £75 plus £10 postage if you need it posting.

    your pushing my memory on the group name tla sound familiar i would say joules is a good constant indicator of bb weight being used , i rock up to the chrono with my dmr and its doing 350 fps, its has to be using 0.30/32 at 1.7/1.8 anything more its breaking rules, depending on site rules of course , its down to the rock ape doing the chrono to have the knowledge

    All chronographing is by FPS Anyone claiming to chrono in joules are either a conversion formula within the chrono based on setting the claimed mass, or a reference chart of FPS to joules The ‘benefit’ of FPS chrono is that any weight can be chronoed without making changes to the settings Problems remain when chronoing with different BBs than playing, when not properly declaring the BB weight etc and especially when it is a lip service exercise

    But at that point once again, split it, because most people aren't going to give a shit and are just going to go "fuck me, that's expensive" Especially when there are currently 3 other TM MP7's for sale at half the price. You clearly aren't up to date on import tax thresholds - unless it peaks over £135, the chance of being called up on the tax from china et al as less than 1%. Aliexpress, as others have said pays the tax before shipping anyway.

    They provide a chrono so that players can check themselves. There seems to be some confusion here. If a site doesn't provide their own BBs or weigh the player's BBs, players can simply lie that we're using a lighter weight of BB than we're actually using. It makes the Joules figures calculated by the chrono inaccurate. A site that trusts players about what BB weight we're using might as well just ask us what energy our guns are producing. It's trivial for us to lie either way.
