    Internally it's really nice but my god, the issues with just putting the two halves together is a bloody nightmare - On top of that, battery space is non existent. Not sure where I'm going to even put a battery with the DD rail. On my ICS's I used to fit the battery up top after removing the mock gas tube etc but the G&G requires a clamp around the barrel at the rear which pushes the battery up. If it wasn't for the price of the G&G, I think I'd of got an ICS again in hindsight

    The only one I'm really active in anymore is the Heavy Recoil Club, and mostly to skim off the results of an awful lot of autistic people tinkering with their guns. You really have to step back from the process and argument and wait for them to agree on a pinned solution to a problem. It's a headache otherwise. Sometimes they're handy for more general advice like kit or optics, but not great because it's an international space and during Yankee Hours you get Americans boasting about all the real parts they can buy for about tree fiddy.

    Discords as a voice/text chat are great; and the pinned posts can be useful for sharing important info and context. Threads are wonderful for splitting up related but separate conversations. But good grief are they awful at sharing infomation like guides, or set up instructions, or what forums are used for!

    Most retailers are pretty reliable at getting a box delivered these days, but after some pretty shaky after sales support on a recent order where the wrong item was shipped, I'm on the hunt for somewhere new to shop. Any recommendations for stores that actually have well organised and prompt after sales support? Preferably with a good focus on GBBRs as that is the bulk of my spending these days!

    It's a really good site so I thoroughly recommend visiting at least once. Quite compact but varied enough so it works nicely. It was briefly closed as it's in an area ripe for redevelopment (what non MOD Airsoft CQB site isn't?) but it seems something fell through so it'll be available for a little longer. I've only ever done the night games there so can't speak for the regular skirmishes but my only negative is I've found hit taking to be quite poor. People don't seem to realise you can see BBs bouncing off them under NODs...I find if I encounter such people, switching to head/face shots encourages them to take it. Not something I like doing but they shouldn't be cheating so fuck them.

    Two items for sale in the add - if something sells the add will be edited to reflect 1 TM SIG P226 Gas Blow Back, pistol with 3 genuine Tm Sig mags (2 are as new) the pistol is used, but works as it should and apart from a little holster wear has no marks or damage Mags are all gas tight, but please do not buy from me if you can’t do basic gas magazine maintenance, I can’t control the temperature during shipping and empty mags that were gas tight when they leave me if filled when still cold, may appear leaky and require basic maintenance. i am, happy to offer basic mag maintenance advice to any potential buyer, in Airsoft it’s possibly one of the best things you can learn being Tm, it just works, it’s reliable throughout winter, the holster and weapon light is included in the sale price as is the postage cost which is £6. I will ask you to cover the PayPal fees, or have a look at my sales feedback and consider paying friends and family. £110 is the asking price for a package costing more than double that item 2 is the British army Bergen shown in the pic - no damage rips or tears that I can see, it’s used and ex issue I would guess, but at £25 plus post and fees it’s a decent bit of kit - postage is £7 though, because it’s pain in the arse bulky

    Accessory/Make: V2 RetroArms Gearbox, fully assembled with GATE TITAN + Motor + 3 x 11.1v Batteries Condition: Used Splits/Swaps/Part Exchange: No x 3 Price/Payment: £130 Location: Luton Area For sale is a completely built, high end V2, no expenses spared gearbox. All parts were purchased from reputable Airsoft vendors circa Jan 2018, so no dodgy clone parts. Bought to create a high end no expenses spared AEG gearbox to be fitted in a G&P SAI M4 receiver to compliment a highly accurate HPA version of the same gun, basically I could change the guns inner workings by just swapping the lowers from HPA to AEG should I play at a “no HPA” site. This never materialised much, the gearbox was used at probably two game days as the HPA was (IMO) a preferred platform. Using a .25g BBs fired through a 370mm, 6.01mm EdGI barrel I was getting consistent FPSs between 308.5 to 309.2 FPS, under the 310FPS limit of .25g BBs. I will list the parts below as best as I can looking at old orders from my emails. Gearbox Shell: RetroArms CNC’d 8mm V2 Gearbox Bushings/Bearings: Modify 8mm Ceramic bearings Motor: ASG Infinity U-22000 Silver Motor with Long Shaft Gears: SHS 16:1 ratio set Anti-Reversal Latch: SHS ARL Main Spring: Cant remember the brand, it was also probably a M105 or M110 spring Spring Guide: Cant remember the brand, might be a RetroArms one. Bought this brand new circa Jan 2018 from Dave’s Custom Airsoft This receiver was bought so that I could build a 2 in 1 rifle using the same RIS/RAS rail handguard, outer/inner barrel, hop and hop chamber with either an HPA or AEG setup as some sites don’t like HPA (BOOOO!) This is the Gen.1 receiver with the squarer and blockier looking receiver, the Gen2 looks more like a bog standard Colt M4 receiver. This receiver was the AEG body which saw little to light use compared to the HPA receiver, I believe that the AEG only saw two game days in total. There are no modifications to the body save for the engraved SAI inlays being painted white or red (see pics). This usually only comes with the upper and lower receiver, forward assist + roll pin and spring, fire selector cover and SAI dust cover. I am throwing some extra bits to get you going including a buffer tube (+screw and retention plate), a double QD sling plate, PTS Syndicate Magpul pistol grip (plus motor plate and screws). Im also adding the charging handle, magazine release catch, fire selector and bolt release catch all in gold to follow the SAI colour theme of black and gold. All you have to do is drop in a V2 Gearbox, add the rest and she’s good to go. The last two images shows you want it looked like in a full rifle.
