No it isn’t, it’s a demonstration of security doing their job, the police officer called over was very aware of airsoft - a very good awareness piece from @Asomodai for people to think about what / how they carry things when travelling (use hold luggage checkin for things that should not be in carry on luggage), and to allow time. The first example was a magazine, the second was internal parts The internal parts were ‘weapon like in nature’ - the person operating the scanner clearly was educated to identify them

SCW9 Pro GBB Bought from new recently, before improving: - Has had receiver professionally refinished with Cerakote to fix the dodgy Maruyama powder coat - Fake bullets no longer in magazines - Extra rare '25 rnd' magazine - 1913 Rail end - Not pictured, but also comes with spare trunnion - Restrictor has been removed but is included Dismantled / reassembled to achieve the above mods, therefore listing as 'used', but is in excellent condition and with the new finish I'd take this over a 'new' one any day. Has only some very minor handling marks. Selling now as surplus to requirements. Full disclosure: - This was purchase by a member of this forum and was returned citing the following issues: - Seems to fire two shots on semi auto (I believe this is because the nozzle retaining screw works loose and requires loctiting) I am happy to answer questions but will not be issuing any more refunds. It is sold as seen, so if you are not able to purchase on your own risk please do not get in touch. Postage only, included in price.£220

Interesting post with some very well written out information. This sort of post is always useful for getting people to think about what they’re doing when approaching a certain situation. It’s not always obvious. Its yet another demonstration of how unaware and uneducated security agencies can be when it comes to airsoft. I don’t think I’ll ever be in a situation where I need to be carrying anything gun or replica related through security of any kind but when I do travel the golden rule regarding where I pack any shit I’m not sure of is ‘if there is any doubt then there’s no doubt’ and in that hold luggage it goes. Again you just don’t know who you’re going to get manning that scanner belt, especially it seems in the UK, where at least half of the staff on the security line seem to be mouth breathing automaton fools. You do get good people sometimes but that ain’t a guarantee. The discussions I’ve had with people about things as innocent as a camera would make you break a rib laughing. Heed the advice given by the OP and err on the side of caution….

Includes folding stock. RIF still has original stickers so never been opened. Used the rif probably 3 times so the rif is in excellent condition. I will also throw in a battery that fits into the hand grip, but I'm not sure if the battery is still alright as it hasn't been used in a while. REDUCED to £275 collected or £285 delivered. hoping for a bit of tech advice from the hivemind. i have a G&G ESB-10 gas shotgun i recently bought. i want to be able to run this as a backup gun for CQB areas, but i have run into an issue. if i sling the gun on my back, then before i can run more than three steps, the mag release paddles hit on my rig and i drop the mag, as you can imagine, this is SUPER annoying, and im wondering if theres any way to remove the paddles without wrecking the rest of the mag release mechanism. looking at it, it seems possible, but i dont really want to risk taking it apart without doing research first and asking if anyone has experience modding the gun this way, or if anyone has any other suggestions for ways to "fence" the paddles to prevent dropping mags mid game

played a game at CQB Swindon back in the day. A bloke brought his 12 year old daughter along to play. She was absolutely lethal 🤣 she’d run around the corner screaming “you wouldn’t shoot a girl, would you?” - the little girls voice would give just enough pause that she’d get the drop on our team every single time 🤣
