I’m after this specific model that has the correct markings, as seen in the photo. I have a similar model but has “made in Taiwan” etched down the front right lower frame, where in the above photo has M1911A1 US Army, and it irritates me. i saw a gentleman post one for sale a while back and I missed out.120.00 GBP

I was reading the posts as in jest (along with the rest of the thread) But since the first post had been intending to drop in a word to avoid the potential of someone one day reading posts in the manner of a downer (((( I was also in a bit of a grump this afternoon with lots of people interrupting my day today, and not achieving my planned stuff )))

Oh don't get me wrong, there's a lot to learn, but BF, Hop, and GT are all there to keep that consumer industry churning in the US. Just constantly buying new guns, buying new parts for those guns, cycling through built-up and stripped-down builds, etc, etc. Watching Guntubers buy and sell LPVOs and Dot+Mag combos like 5 times round as the discourse goes back and forth between the two gets aggravating and I think Airsofters don't need to worry about like 99% of what they talk about. Stuff about concealment, moving quietly through terrain, and observation are useful if you're on a large site/MilSim though. Getting serious about gear is especially fun for MilSims.

The Patrol Base guys have also done a few tutorials on their YT channel. Which I thought were very easy to watch.

If you have a UKARA, it's worth asking the seller to slap it on the box somewhere nice and obvious anyway, But yeah the only things you'll really get pulled up on importing are real firearms parts that are pressure bearing, (barrels, gas blocks, bolt carriers, etc). Those ones will get you a nice visit from the police. Furniture and optics are fine.
-
It's a waste of time apart from certain review channels. Youtube airsoft is all about clickbait bullshit and drama which doesn't represent reality.
-
Yes and no, never any issue. Just avoid UPS though as they will continually ask you for a UKARA or other Defence even though one is not needed for those items.
-
Nope, no issues at all.

so i recently bought some rails and stocks from Asian airsoft sites and had no issues with them. Have you guys ever bought bolts carriers from Asian airsoft stores and had any issues with customs or border force?

Some of this guys stuff is great and so on point for this thread! Thanks

No, he is just desperate to get his gums around Tate’s knob.

That sounds like a perfectly valid reason to buy more guns

I will embrace the cringe. I do plan at some point on getting some cameras and becoming yet-another-youtube-airsoft-sniper, though I have no compulsion to make a career of it and play into the drama-farming Youtube algorithm. I do think I have some interesting things to share though, part of which is a unique setup amidst the sea of over-engineered full body ghillie suits with MTWs, Tac-41s and Novritsch rifles. Will see though. I may just decide I can't be bothered and it's low on the priority list...

My post was made in jest, I don’t really have any objection to someone who wants to film their game to watch later. I plan to do the same when I can remember to buy a mount that doesn’t immediately fall off. Just had a funny mental image of someone with more camera than gun running round wondering why they can’t aim straight.
